I agree...not only spoon fed, but regurgitating heretical heresies (if you will) on the double emphasis......they are the type that would crucify Jesus all over again and if given the opportunity would have also nailed him to the cross while quoting the very law that they were breaking in the process.....

yet once you KNOW why, you no longer need faith, Just the spirit.

Did God leave you without understanding of why he said do not commit adultry? We can know why we should not. It does not mean we will follow him, We need faith to help us overcome our weekenesses. Obeyuing some law will never help us do this, It has been proven since the begining of time.

And that same jesus said through Paul not to judge a man concerning a sabbath day, That if you do. you are in serious trouble.

You have been forgiven ALL tresspasses (past present and future)

You have been given the spirit of God as a guarantee, and been sealed by this same spirit.

You have Gods promise he WILL raise you on the last day?

Most of what is stated in the above quote does not even apply ONLY to believers. It applies to all men. It is almost exclusively refering to the work of Christ on the Cross, which was to reconcile the world, all men to God.

Faith is implied, based on other parts of scripture, the (washing of regeneration- baptism) and (receiving of the Holy Spirit - chrismation).
And in the last one Titus 3:7 is gives us the reason why Christ justified all things to God, so that we by faith could become heirs of eternal life with Christ.

This is why you are so confused on the issue of grace, works and faith. You do not even understand the difference between what Christ did for us, our belief in that work which justifies us, and our personal salvation which is all about imitating Christ, walking after Him. If we don't we cannot be saved. When one conflates what scripture teaches, one ends up with a lot of false ideas.

I am Church of Christ...But they may throw me out soon as I have discovered that "we" were/are adding to scripture.
