Believe Jesus died on the cross and rose again and make Him Lord over your life. It is by faith alone that we are saved

Romans 10:9 says if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved.

Confess and believe with a simple prayer such as, Lord I come to you now to ask that you will come into my life and live in my heart. I repent of my past sins, which means you will not commit those sins again as you once did. I ask you to forgive my sins, for I realize that I am a sinner. I believe that you were resurected as I too will be and will have eternal life. I understand that I am saved by grace, not by works. I ask that you will guide me and lead me to live a Godly life from this day forward. Thank you Lord for my salvation.

You can't just repeat words, you must believe, have faith and trust God.

There are 4 things you now need to do.

1. Find a home church
2. Fellowship with other Christians
3. Read Gods word daily, and learn how to apply His word in your life
4. Pray daily

Luke 15:10 In the same way, I tell you, There is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
(Joh 3:14-16)

I'll add...

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
(1Co 15:1-4)

I think you cannot have one without the other. Christ is the visible image of the invisible God (Col 1:11) and the Holy Spirit lives in our soul and helps us maintain our relationship with the Lord.

I think salvation is a process. It starts with knowing we and our world are created by God, and God has control. When we acknowledge this there is a rebirth within us so we can understand the spiritual, as given us in powerful words of scripture.

Then we learn that we can live forever, our spirit does not die, but that spirit cannot be tainted with sin. We are born in sin, we know sin and have since soon after creation. So we learn that God wants us to live with Him forever, and to do this God gave a way to overcome sin. It is through Christ. Christ was part of God from the beginning, and his work at conquering sin was, in our time, in the year about 30. But in eternal time, Christ always was. When Christ lived in our time, He completed and fulfilled the work of making it possible for us to have forgiveness which insures our being able to live forever. Before the year 30, Christ was symbolized with blood, and through sacrifice atonement for sins was given. It was incomplete, though, and completed when he lived on our earth as a man, and was crucified.

When we say salvation, we mean that through Christ, our sins can be forgiven, almost any sin. Our part in this is repentance. We are to learn what God sees as sin, and do our best to live apart from sin. We are to constantly accept forgiveness of our sin by God when we repent and try.

In payment for this, we are promised not only that we are “saved”,meaning we live with God forever, but as we keep away from sin it leads us to what scripture calls a land of milk and honey in this life. It is simple to see this by looking at the lives around us. Those that reflect peace, joy, love, contentment are ones that follow in kinds of instructions God gives.

God says this is done in an instant, but we are part of it, too. When we are first saved, we are like babies in understanding. We are to put the words of God in our minds, it makes us grow, and God asks us to grow.

Because it is through what Christ did for us, and because after he was crucified so His work was completed, some people think that only Christ in involved in our salvation. Christ and God the Father and the Holy Spirit are actually one, with each a manifestation of that one God. The work of Christ, this part of God, is extremetly important to understand. But so are the other parts of God. It is part of the growth God asks of us.

Friend, do you know what you need saving from?

Do you accept you are guilty and deserve to be punished?

John 3

[SUP]11 [/SUP]Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
[SUP]13 [/SUP]And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
[SUP]15 [/SUP]That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]For John was not yet cast into prison.
[SUP]25 [/SUP]Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.
[SUP]26 [/SUP]And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.
[SUP]27 [/SUP]John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.
[SUP]28 [/SUP]Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.
[SUP]29 [/SUP]He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.
[SUP]30 [/SUP]He must increase, but I must decrease.
[SUP]31 [/SUP]He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.
[SUP]32 [/SUP]And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.
[SUP]33 [/SUP]He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.
[SUP]34 [/SUP]For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
[SUP]35 [/SUP]The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
[SUP]36 [/SUP]He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Not whom, but what.

Saved from the wrath of God on your sin at the final judgment.

This, then, begs the question for the Trinity-deniers...who is God?

What do you have to do to be saved?

Repent or perish!
Luke 13:3 I tell you, No. But unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
Jesus and His followers spoke boldly, and had but one purpose, and that was to call the sick and lost to repent, stop sinning, which meant going through a crisis of conviction, followed by godly sorrow, that would result in a heart made pure, and cleansed from all vile sins that would lead to death. 2 Corinthians 7-10-11 explains this process well, from the godly sorrow, to the clearing, to the proving you are cleared and pure.
You can’t deny the strong message and warnings that are hidden in a watered down liberal message coming from the church system, coming from the book of Genesis through the book of Revelation, it’s all about calling the lost and sick out of their sins through repentance and faith proven by deeds.
Not once while I was going to church did anyone including the pastors, warn me to repent or perish, it was always the Jesus loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life, which kept me coming back for more, giving my time, talents and treasure to the system, while I was still defiled and double minded in my heart. Jas 4:8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners; and purify your hearts, double-minded ones.
As I reach out in defense of the gospel according to godliness, I can clearly see the huge difference between the Billy Graham receive Jesus message, against the John the Baptist message, Luk 3:7 Then he said to the crowd that came forth to be baptized by him, O generation of vipers! Who has warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Luk 3:8 Therefore bring forth fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say within yourselves, We have Abraham for our father. For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.
Luk 3:9 And now also the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bring forth good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.
Scripture is very clear, on what must be done to inherit eternal life, and just receive, believe and trust won’t do it!
The safe message in the pulpits and ministries today, is Jesus loves you in your sins, has a great plan for you, just accept, believe, confess and trust in the provision He made through His death, no questions asked, all is done, try not to sin, but in reality you won’t be able too, since you were born a sinner, or inherited the nature from Adam.
Here is a challenging scenario, say you went into a biker bar on a Saturday evening, where there were many large, drunk bikers, having a good time, and you entered the bar, and yelled out to them, Jesus loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life! Now you may get a few mad at you for disrupting their revelry, or some may even accept what you are saying, and gladly receive a gospel, or a tract with the sinners prayer on it, then maybe even some will listen to your saved in sin message, and feel comfortable with you, but whatever happens, in the end, you may just be asked to leave and don't come back!
Now scenario number two, you go into the same bar, and now yell out to them to repent or perish! Stop sinning against God, seek His mercy, and hope he relents,Isa 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to Jehovah, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.
I believe if you get out of that bar in one piece, or uninjured, then you did well, but either way, this is the hard sayings of Jesus, that most will ignore,, especially those in the church, they will sugar coat it, make it acceptable, and in no way offend anyone,, especially a bar filled with bikers and drunks!
But this is the true gospel, that has been lost in translation, sugar coated to fit into the liberal, wanton society we live in, where God loves you In your sins and disobedience, winks at sin, because He loves the sinner but hates the sin, and will never condemn or forsake a backslidden vile sinner who professes Christ, and attends church every weekend. Isaiah had something to say about that:
Isa 1:16 Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes; cease to do evil;
Isa 1:17 learn to do good; seek judgment, reprove the oppressor. Judge the orphan, plead for the widow
I feel the sting and loneliness of preaching this message today, not many will accept it, the truth is long gone, and turned into a suggestion and not a command,, man has tainted the word of God making it of no effect, denying its power, and making a mockery of why Jesus had to die on the cross, making Him a replacement for their sins and bad behavior, because they have little courage to seek the truth, that is unpopular and long forgotten!
They have exchanged the truth for a lie! Romans 1-25. I believe whenever God gives us the opportunity to share truth, we should never sugar coat the message in any way, I see this being done everywhere I go, as they say the love of God will lead them to salvation, but how will they know if they don't hear?
It’s easier and safer to say receive and trust, than repent or perish I am afraid, but those who stand boldly will be hated for this message, Mat 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. and may not lose their head as John the Baptist did, but will surely not be the life of the party, popular and well-liked by those in the system today, far from it, they will be mocked, called rude names, condemned as a demon, called unloving and judgmental, and as legalistic as the Pharisees. But all’s we are doing is following the commands of Jesus, calling sinners to repent, seek His mercy, because our obedience has been fulfilled, 2Co 10:6 and having readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled!
