would the ark have remained sealed if it fell into the wrong hands ?
Whose hands, Jimbo? All with the breath of life were swallowed up
and died in the floods once the ark was sealed and the rains started.

The ark of the convent i was talking about billy,,, and what is actually in the ark... (the convent)..........now if the convent falls into the wrong hands what then billy g...?
now to be honest you did not make that clear.

My response was to this post

So my response was to the post about Noah's ark and not the ark of the covenant

and assumed your response was to Magentas

The ark was sealed and closed from the outside
who was responding to Noah's ark

to which you responded

"would the ark have remained sealed if it fell into the wrong hands" post 118

To which you were responding.

So as I said I don't think you made it clear.

With regards to the ark of the covenant that was for Israel under the old covenant, God in box a such (not being irreverent here)
But under the new covenant where does God reside? Not in a box but in our hearts.

Yours still Scottish friend and always proud of it:)

your talking about being saved not recieving the final harvest...... its a bit like saving a drowning animal in the pond....

so even the animals know how to save... but one day the animal must fend for its self. its the same as you and i me must also follow his instruction....

We are not animals. We as believers do not fend for ourselves, we entrust this to God who leads us besides the steams of still waters. Yes he rescues us, not when we get to heaven but when we go astray.

You think the eternal God is like a wild animal? "

"Who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our deeds but according to His purpose and grace which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began." 2 Tim 1.9

"But when the kindness of God our Saviour, and His love towards men appeared, NOT by works done in righteousness, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit." Tit 3.4 ff

God gives no instruction. He purposes it according to His mercy.

Its lovely, a bit of mash potatoe and lots of gravy.

mind you they are now a protected species.
Potatoes? Haha I jest but... what is protected?

A traditional haggis recipe describes haggis as "sheep's 'pluck' (heart,
liver and lungs), minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, and traditionally encased in the animals stomach and boiled."

No, I do not think I could stomach it :(:D:)

who ever believeth in him might not perish ......................might being the word,,,,,,,so belieiving is not enough..........because where im from might means a possiablity for you.................

Now seing as believing is the same as hearing..... when Jesus spoke theese words he said be ye not just hearers of the word,,,,,(believers).............but be ye doers of the word also... for this we will know you are of God...

it does not have that emphasis is the Greek. Thus 'will not' or 'should not'. It simply uses me instead of ou.

Now seeing as believing is the same as hearing..... when Jesus spoke these words he said be ye not just hearers of the word,,,,,(believers).............but be ye doers of the word also... for this we will know you are of God...
a real believer is a doer, but he is saved by his first believing
