if you worship God your way, how you think is fit,you can get into trouble,with your health.dont forget that name is most holy. need to handle it with most respect.
can you do the buddhist way of chanting, and just change the words,with God and Jesus, would that be alright? i am sure many will say: yah,nothing wrong with that,no one can tell me how to worship God,i do what i think is right. in other words,i do it my way; and you know where that leads to. im sorry, have to speak out.

i use to be a rock singer but not in a church band,and since i found the lord it just went
away.i tought to my self; where am i going,and i have lost total interest.

Music can minister to the flesh as well as to the spirit.Music can manipulate people or put them into an altered state. I used to think that feeling tingly on the outside was a good thing, but now I know peace on the inside like floating on a cloud is much better as well as much harder to counterfeit. Jumping around is nice and there is a time for that but quiet exultation and patiently waiting is so much better because the flesh is more likely to get out of the way.
how about feeding yourself with the flesh of christ,that will give you life.
i know it gets a bit boring sometimes, but when you start discovering the mysterys, it gets very exiting,knowing the God you worship more and more, and coming closer and closer to him.dont forget very soon we will see him coming,not long now.

The world plays music according to their flesh,for they know not God,and that music includes heavy metal.They play this type of music according to what their flesh wants,for they are of the world,which this music was played before Christian metal was put out.
Before the 1960's people were not as selfish and arrogant wanting their way,but when the 1960's hit,it created an attitude of selfishness and arrogance,and love of the flesh,that has never been seen before that.While they were claiming peace and love,there was a selfishness of have your own way,be your own boss,do your own thing,and rebelliousness against authority,that led to a selfish and arrogant nation,that love fleshy pleasures never seen before in the history of mankind,where children rebel against parents that has never been seen in the history of mankind before the 1960's.
When the 1960's hit,the children were growing up in a more selfish and arrogant society,which produced more hypocrites who love fleshy pleasures more than God when they accepted Jesus than prior to the 1960's.
The world who goes by the flesh,because they know not God,play heavy metal for it is what their flesh wants,and you can see the progression from the 1960's until now,how the music became darker and more aggressive as time went on for the people of the world,for in the flesh dwells no good thing.
If the people of the world play heavy metal because it is what their flesh wants,how is that compatible with worshipping God,when the lyrics may praise God,but truthfully the music is what the flesh wants.
Music to worship God should sound like loving music,not aggressive and loud,and you cannot reach the world by acting like them.
People are growing up in a more selfish and arrogant society,and more people that claim Christ are in to some fleshy pleasures more than before the 1960's.
How can heavy metal be of the world and of God at the same time,and it was of the world first,and they love it according to the flesh for they are not with God,which I believe that Christian metal and people who like it,may be singing praise to God,but they love the music according to the flesh but want to think it is not true,for music to praise God is loving,pleasant to the ears,not aggressive and loud,which is what the flesh wants.
God said that we should adorn the inner man with a meek and quiet spirit,so how does heavy metal fit in to that.It is the flesh that wants aggression,and like I said after the 1960's it caused a selfish and arrogant people,with love of the flesh,that has never been seen before it,and kids are growing up in that society,and if they do come to Christ a lot have a hard time wanting to get rid of those fleshy desires,like heavy metal,which is of the flesh,and not compatible with the music God wants to hear.
It is actually what the person wants to hear and not what God wants to hear.If the world likes heavy metal,it is according to the flesh,for they know not God,and if they like heavy metal according to the flesh,then it is something of the flesh,and originated from the flesh,so how can it be worship music.
If stealing a car is wrong for it is of the flesh,is stealing a car right,if you go and preach the Gospel of Christ as it gets you around town to reach more people.If heavy metal is of the flesh,is it right if you praise God to that music.
11There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother.
12There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.
13There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.
14There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men(Proverbs 30:11-14).
This is the last generation before Jesus takes over the earth,whose attitude will be worse than any other attitude before it.
You can see that it started in the 1960's,with the 1950's lending a little helping hand to get it going in that direction.After the 1960's there was never a people that loved selfishness and arrogance,and fleshy pleasures,drugs,and aggressive music,and loved money to the point of ridiculous.
You will never find in the whole history of mankind,a more fleshy oriented generation than when the 1960's hit and beyond,who will not even obey their parents,but I have to say one thing,a lot of parents do not act with the decency of parents of the past,so it might discourage some children,but nevertheless,for the most part because of our more selfish and arrogant generation,children have not wanted to listen to parents for they do not want to humble themselves like prior to the 1960's.
I believe Metal music is of the flesh,but some want to believe it pleases God,but I'm not trying to bash anybody because of it,or look down on them,or think they do not care for God.I'm only trying to give my perspective of what makes sense concerning that,because it seems like it is of the flesh and not God.
