No sir, Stephen is saying that easy grace teachers can corrupt the message of grace and can and do lead people into thinking they can live anyway they want, because of grace....
I have listened to over 1,000 messages on the true grace of God in Christ's work and I have never heard anyone say this. I have however heard many times others accuse people of saying that.

I also agree that the true message of grace transforms us as we behold the glory/goodness of the Lord as in a mirror. 2 Cor. 3:17-18

The problem that all works-based / works-righteousness belief thinking has is with the "acceptance part" of the grace of God. It is offensive to the natural religiously taught mind and I fully understand that.

Right believing will produce right thinking which will produce right living - and all this is by grace through faith in Christ's finished work on the cross and resurrection. That we too have died with Christ and have risen to newness of life.

This has caught my attention in a multitude of posts. What exactly does the word 'easy believism' mean? Are you implying that believing is not easy? I think it is quite easy, it is as easy as opening a door or taking a glass of water.
Mental assenting people who come to worldly sorrow , but never believe in their heart and confess with their mouth....

Read ad the New Testament all through and ask for it to be revealed to you.

It would probably rattle your cage and grace7777to know that Joseph Price does not believe in OSAS and actually teaches you can walk away from your salvation and you can lose your faith.....

JP hides this well, but he does state the promises and grace are only available to you as long as you abide in the vine....if you step outside of the vine....you forfeit the promises and grace is removed...We heard him a few times live well under the WOF deception....

exalt grace over Jesus Christ....
That is interesting...Show me where this is true ( and it might be true... ) - and please not from a heretic hunters website that usually distorts the truth of what is actually being said. They usually mis-represent what is being said.

Show me from the horse's mouth himself.

Here is what I have found "from his own mouth" and he is saying the complete opposite of what you are saying here.

Here is another one:

And another. I'll stop there and wait for your references "from the horse's mouth himself." Thanks. I'd be interested in seeing this.

Over 1000 messages?

Will you not now come to the Message of Truth?

Read ad the New Testament all through and ask for it to be revealed to you.
Ironically - I did exactly that very thing....:)

Oh goody! I get to give my testimony out of what the Lord has done. Thank you Jesus!

I will give you my testimony of what the Lord has done when He revealed to me my complete dependence on the gospel of the grace of Christ.

He has changed my mind ( As, only God can give true repentance ) on how I view a lot of things concerning Him and my life in Christ and of course that means all kinds of different sin - for "whatsoever is not of faith is in fact sin " ( the law is NOT of faith ).

I have posted this a few times in CC but you are new so it was probably before you joined.

If people feel the need to castigate what the Lord has done in my life - then so be it. I am not denying Christ in me and what He has done. I am not ashamed of the gospel - for in it is the power of God for real salvation.

I have a great passion for Christ!..here is what knowing Him because of the revelation of the gospel of the grace of Christ has done for me.

I was praying one morning and thinking about how the grace of Christ has affected me. I had the scripture come up in my spirit where the Pharisees were arguing about whether a man was born blind or not after Jesus healed him. Of course the Pharisees were trying to discredit the message of Jesus. The man said.." All I know is that I was born blind but now I see."

This is what the gospel of the grace of Christ has done in my life:

I realize that these beliefs in the grace of God....especially the acceptance grace, repentance from dead works and the total forgiveness that Jesus bought and paid for with His blood....that these can be offensive to our religious beliefs and what we have been taught in church. (they were initially to me as well )

This gospel of the wondrous grace of Christ has had a beautiful affect on me.

I am more in love with Jesus and the Father more then ever....in love with studying His word....praying in the spirit constantly with a heart full of joy!

This gospel has given me a compassion for other people and to reach out in love to them. To give more than I ever have with a heart full of love.

To live a holier life in Him...which is not only living separate from the "biggie sins" but everything that He reveals about anything that is contrary to life and His nature that is in me....this has led me to be a witness of the life and love of our Lord in me.

If these are the horrible fruit of the grace of Christ in me....I want more!.....give me more grace please my Lord and God!

I am living a much fuller life now, more deeply in love with Jesus and the Father then ever before or ever dreamed was possible and I am just starting.

I am free from the horrible religion of self-effort, having the love of God pour out in me to help others now that I understand the grace that is in Christ then I did when I was doing the self-performance based gospel ( which is not the gospel )

I was blind but now I see.
I see Jesus and His finished work for me!

It
will always be in eternity "Worthy is the Lamb"..

It will never be.."Worthy is the Lamb......and me..because I did my own D.I.Y self-righteousness/holiness to help Jesus out"

It has always been about Jesus and Him alone and it will always remain that way for all eternity.

Ok let me ask you, before you knew anything about false teachers how did you learn about them and what they teach?

Was this learning from God or satan?
Repost Meggido, I know I may have touch a nerve I'm sorry, though I'd still like to know how you learned about false teachers, porn, prositutes, etc. did God allow you to see these things as for things not to do and teach to others things that lead a person astray, a man's testimony can be of a learning tool for others, some times people learn somethings is from experience, the prodigal son learned a lesson about somethings, do you think this learning wasn't from God?

Bruce, we agree on some and don't on others......I have heard this message all over the place....the message is out there and is being preached....I think many[not stating you, EG or others] do not hear it outright because it is so covertly done....

I watched a very famous Pastor, that is part of a huge world wide ministry that influences millions offer this sinners prayer on Praise show with Matt Crouch....you be the judge and tell me if it lines up with the Word of God

OK if you are out there watching pray this with me...

God, I come to you, humbled, and a wreck...God you and your grace is amazing....God, grace is all I need....you are grace, your grace is my salvation...your grace paid the price for my sins....I take your grace and apply it to my condition and it bathes me in new life....God, grace allows me to boldly enter into relationship and it reconciles me back to you...God your grace forgives my sin....cover me in your grace so I can be saved by you....Thank you God...now if you just prayed that, grace is all over and you are saved....

EG, you really have no clue what the WOF movement teaches, it is obvious by your comments...We lived in that deception for a few years.....It would probably rattle your cage and grace7777to know that Joseph Price does not believe in OSAS and actually teaches you can walk away from your salvation and you can lose your faith.....he learned this from Ken Copeland, who learned it from Ken Hagin Sr.
Well since your a year older then me, My first response would be off, But I actually had a word of faith pastor in my church when I was about 13 years old. So yes, I know what they teach, I have also studied it, I have also taught against it. And the fact that you are trying to tell me I do not know just makes me wonder of yet agan you are going off what you think and not reality.

Why do you tend to do this my friend?

As for JP. I never heard of him until I got in here, And all I have is what I have seen a few people post, as for his WOF doctrine, I disagree, But I have seen what he says about the gospel. And his gospel is the same as every grace teachers gospel I have ever heard. Maybe a few terms were used differently, But it is the same,

JP hides this well, but he does state the promises and grace are only available to you as long as you abide in the vine....if you step outside of the vine....you forfeit the promises and grace is removed...We heard him a few times live well under the WOF deception....
Can you share this in his own words, You will have to excuse me, But a few people who went to war (some are not here any longer) posted some stuff against him from anti-JP websites which were later proven to be false. so when I hear things, I do not take it as gospel truth, i like to see it with my own two eyes. I pray you grant me that request. As I am sure you would want the same.

(ps, I am not defending JP I do not even know the guy, All I am doing is stating that the things people are saying against GRACE777 is not true, why JP always get linkied up into it is beyond me.)

Did you read the post I reposted and made in large print, Can you tell me where anythign Grace777 said is not true, Or how about the op. I have yet to here either you or stephen show where anything in the op is wrong, all I have heard is you attack the messenger, Shame Shame.

The WOF movement hardly teaches anything about the Gospel....its all about faith, faith, faith and how to blab and grab your way to material blessings...they never talk about grace....those WOF teachers that due, exalt grace over Jesus Christ....
Yeah?do you have any proof. all you have given me is what you think, I do not like to just take peoples word for it, I want them to back up what they say, as I am sure you want also.

I Hate calvanism, I think it gives God a bad name, But I know they teach the gospel

I hate ammilenialistic theology which says all prpphesy is done, and God is done with Isreal. but I know many who believe thise share the same gospel I do

I hate old earth theology, But I realize and know many share the same gospel I do.

if your going to attack a whole group of people based on one doctrine, then you better have more ammunition that you are bringing, all I hear is hearsay, I see no proof. Stephen tried to show proof. But his proof was proved to be erroneous, Are you sure you want to follow in his footsteps, I would be careful.

No sir, Stephen is saying that easy grace teachers can corrupt the message of grace and can and do lead people into thinking they can live anyway they want, because of grace....

Stephen teaches legalism, Anyone who teaches grace teaches easy grace according to steven, You have fallen for his trap and walked right into it.

No one stephen has been fighting against, not Grace777, Not JP not anyone, teaches a person can be saved and live in sin.

That strawman left the CC chatroom many months ago.. Thats why most people do not listen to a word stephen says anymore, he has lost any semblance of reliability.

I have never heard before that but then again I don't watch TV.

I agree that the wording could be a lot better and a lot of it is true too but it is no worse then saying this " If you want to give your life to Jesus - come forward to the altar." or "If you want to surrender your life to Christ - say this prayer." or "If you want to make Jesus Lord of your life - say this or do this ".

None of the above is the gospel message. True belief is of the heart and we have word-for-word accounts of the true gospel being preached by Peter in Acts 10 and by Paul in Acts 13 and it is nothing like the modern day evangelical way.

The gospel has been so watered down that it's hardly recognizable now from what is said by Peter and Paul when they preached the gospel of the grace of God in Christ.

We can't separate grace from Christ . It's like trying to separate the wet out of the water. It comes by and with Christ. Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

Ah he did say in (which is not gospel) just because someone says what they use to do, doesn't mean they still do.

Farther more the latter is purely exploiting what he said, falling to recognized the very next sentence he said, (it has always been about Jesus and him). clear as day what he meant why try and twist his words, people and their crazy attacks.

You made my point Bruce.....

The Bible says the shed blood of Jesus forgives sin, not grace....

The Bible does not say grace reconciles you back to God, it says that Jesus Christ reconciles you back to God...

The Bible does not say that grace raises you into new life, it says Being buried and risen with Jesus raises us to new life....

The most glaring in your face denial of this prayer is the fact Jesus was never mentioned, not to mention the fact that, Jesus and him crucified, buried and raised again was never even touched on.....

This is teaching millions that grace is the only answer! This is a complete, intentional, outright denial of our master and Lord,Jesus Christ and his Gospel as we see stated in the last half of Jude 4.....

There is no excuse for this....none!

This is what hundreds of young pastor-teachers teach.....I see the aftermath of people deceived...I ask who saved you...grace bro, are you stupid!?!?! What about Jesus saving you?....who is that....we see this all the time....

In all honesty the word of grace message is getting as corrupt as the word of faith message did....grace and faith are virtues and essential in the walk...but when either of them become larger than Jesus....and remove him from the picture we have a problem....

Good post,

once I heard a man say he threw a fellow off his stage for teaching raptor being a exact time frame and threw another off his stage for teaching to much lovey dovey stuff, I wonder if the man ever thought the only reason why these folks came in was to deliver one simple message to one man on his stage, I wonder if he ever got the memo.
Most do not.. For some reason it goes right over their heads.

I have given a teaching before where I new everyone understood what I was gong to say except for one person. I spent the whole time without making it to obvious teaching basically to the one person.. No one complained, And the person I was hoping to hear, heard, and thanked me for it..
