Ever since I saw a video in a thread that was made a few days ago, I became intrigued with the possibility that the anti-Christ spoken in Revelation is not a single man, but rather a system, or religion--Islam.

I'm not sure what to think anymore but this man gives an interesting view of what he thinks "666" means (he is the same man in the video I saw previously, Walid Shoebat). Now, granted someone may easily refute this, and I have not done any more research on this subject, so I am not sold 100% on this. But I would just like to get a feel for what others think after seeing this video:

I personally believe both will be represented by the beast A.K.A. (the Anti-Christ) as I believe a study of the following...

1. A study of secular history along with the following 6 world empires (Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome)
2. As well as a biblical study of what Rome devolves into which is the 10 toed/10 horned of Daniel/Revelation)
3. A study of the chief gods (Horus, Zeus, Jupiter, etc.) of the above empires will reveal the following...

1. The final world religion of the beast is the worship of the false god of Islam!
2. The beast of Revelation and the 12th Imam/The Madhi (spelling?) of Islam are one and the same!
3. If you don't worship the beast you get your head cut off (a regular practice of radical Islam)

Just my view based upon intensive study for 24 years which means nothing at the end of the day because I could be wrong, but this is what I believe.

Ahem. The word “antichrist” doesn't appear in the book of Revelation. It only appears in 1 John and 2 John. Just sayin'.

No matter what God says: and we will know

Psalm 95:7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
John 10:3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
(talking of us the Gentiles)
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

No words can explain this fact it is what it is.
You know, god reveals himself to those he has granted Mercy, and this Mercy is available to all. So seek it out as the one that cried for it
[h=3]Luke 18:9-14[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]9 [/SUP]And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: [SUP]10 [/SUP]Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. [SUP]11 [/SUP]The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. [SUP]12 [/SUP]I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. [SUP]13 [/SUP]And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. [SUP]14 [/SUP]I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

There are many antichrist.
He is a man that leads people astray from the bible.
And he leads them into compromise and sin.
And he does not have scars in his hands.

Anyone calling himself God and he does not have scars in his hands from the nails is antichrist.

He will be a man. A great political/miltary leader of 10 kings.

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
My belief on Revelation is that, if we knew everything that we are told in that book we would know when the end is coming. I have heard many, many, thoughts and interpretations on it. I have one such publication that does a pretty good job with explaining symbolism in Revelation.

Much of it can be understood, but much is still not revealed to us as the time for us to know has not yet arrived.

Cute topic! Everyone is presenting other men's interpretation. None of them are true! Why John is a better question. Try reading again it does not say THE BEAST is the antichrist or Satan. Those who worship Satan (the dragon)give power to the beast. The beast is not destroyed only Satan is locked in the pit.

The antichrist will be a man claiming to be God and be a nature worshipper. He will say that he has tapped in to the Cosmos or nature and achieved powers through nature. His agenda for the world will be a world that is all about man with no religious or governmental authority above them. They will cut out all authority above man which is the beast kingdom in Revelation and a kingdom that has never been seen before because all kingdoms before that recognized religious and governmental authority.

The antichrist will claim to be above all that people worship and all that people call God and the people that follow him will believe that they too can receive power through nature. The false prophet will do lying miracles to convince the world that he has achieved power by the beast and to prove to the world that the beast does have power through nature which the world will believe that they too can receive this power.

In the book of Daniel chapter 7 it talks about 4 beasts,Babylon,Medo-Persia,Greece,and the Roman Empire. It says that the first 3 beasts after they fell will never rise to physical dominion again but the Roman Empire will have physical dominion until Jesus puts down the world. The Roman Empire will gain world dominance at the end by coming together and the world will be split in to 10 sections with a leader in each section, which is the 10 horns. This is the next kingdom to come and since the world can communicate with each other it can happen soon.

The Bible says that the 10 horns come from the Roman Empire and the little horn or antichrist comes from the 10 horns so the antichrist will come from the Roman Empire.

In the book of Daniel chapter 9 it says that the prince to come or antichrist will come from the people who overthrew Jerusalem which is the Roman Empire.

The antichrist will be a man claiming to be God or the highest power who will be from the Roman Empire whose agenda is it is all about man with no governmental or religious authority above them.

The antichrist and the beast kingdom has nothing to do with Islam although all nations governments will be in league with the Roman Empire as the antichrist's main powerbase. All governments will fall after the 6th trumpet because the world realizes that with even a one world government and a one world army they still cannot achieve peace on earth as that war is the most terrible war in history. They turn to the antichrist and then all religions fall for they do not need them for the antichrist is above all their religions and they do not believe in a God above them.

The beast kingdom in Revelation called Babylon is not the Babylon of old and it is not Babylon resurrected for the Bible says that after Babylon fell they would never rise again. It is Babylon in spirit for Babylon is recognized as the kingdom of man because of their high revelation of the God of Israel by king Nebuchadnezzar but his son messed that up so Babylon is recognized as the kingdom of man.

You either belong to Babylon, the kingdom of man,or you belong to the Kingdom of God.

True, there is no such thing as the anti-christ. That term has come to mean the Man of Sin in modern speak.

He comes out of the North not the South...

Daniel 11:40-42 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.
He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

I'm thinking it's going to be a man possibly of the Islamic cult or someone allegedly "Christian" who tries to corrupt the Gospel message by advocating "Chrislam." If your priest or pastor ever starts spouting any such blasphemy, WATCH OUT!
