Ecclesiastes 12:6-7 Remember your Creator before the silver cord is loosed, Or the golden bowl is broken, Or the pitcher shattered at the fountain, Or the wheel broken at the well. Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it.

The term "Spirit" translates the Hebrew word ruah, which in its primary sense, means breath, air, wind.

I believe that the silver cord comes from or is part of the breath of life. If it is loosed we no longer have life in the human body and are cut off from the visible world. It is the breath of life that gives us life in the human body. The breath of life is the Holy Spirit within us that gives us life in this world.

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.
(1 John 4:1-3 ESV)

can anyone find a testimony of someone who has seen a glowing orb, and that orb has testified of Christ, or that person was moved to proclaim Jesus, the mercy of His sacrifice and grace & glory of His resurrection because of the vision?

that's all i really need to know.

the Holy Ghost and the Breath of Life or the spirit of man are not the same thing.
not every man that lives and breathes is full of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit to the disciples - if it was the Breath of Life He had promised to send, He would have been talking to dead men - and they were certainly living and animate before the Holy Spirit was sent to them.

The breath of life was given to all mankind in the beginning by God (Genesis 2:7). It is believed by some, including myself, that this breath of life is the Spirit of God or the Holy Spirit. This would be different from the Holy Spirit Jesus promised to send to his disciples. This Spirit of truth that Christ has sent would bear witness that we belong to Christ and are children of God. The Spirit in which I am speaking of is known as the breath of life and is only mentioned once in the beginning of Genesis.

the breath of life is mentioned several times, not just in Genesis 2:7, and not just in Genesis:

God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things

(Acts 17:24-25)

For behold, I will bring a flood of waters upon the earth to destroy all flesh in which is the breath of life under heaven. Everything that is on the earth shall die.
(Genesis 6:17)

as long as I have life within me,
the breath of God in my nostrils,
my lips will not say anything wicked,
and my tongue will not utter lies.
(Job 27:3-4)

My words declare the uprightness of my heart,
and what my lips know they speak sincerely.
The Spirit of God has made me,
and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

(Job 33:3-4)

If he should set his heart to it
and gather to himself his spirit and his breath,
all flesh would perish together,
and man would return to dust.

(Job 34:14-15)

For I will not accuse you forever, and I will not always be angry;
for then the spirit would grow weak before Me,
even the breath of man, which I have made.

(Isaiah 57:16)

Thus says God, the LORD, who created the heavens and stretched them out,
who spread out the earth and what comes from it,
who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk in it:

(Isaiah 42:5)

But after the three and a half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them.
(Revelation 11:11)

there may be even more than this - but certainly that's enough to see the truth?

you should be able to clearly see that the animus the breath of life, that that gives all that lives it's life -
this is not the same as the Holy Spirit.
i could show you many verses where a prophet prophesies, and it is said "
the spirit of the Lord came upon him.. " or something similar - but the one the spirit of the Lord came on was already living and breathing and animated, and was also still alive when that spirit left him. just like with the disciples, who were already alive before pentecost, they had in them the breath of life, but they had not received the Holy Spirit.
now, the same Holy Spirit that we have may in fact be the same as the "Spirit of the Lord" as it was called in old times, that caused men and women to prophesy; that's not really clear in scripture - even in Revelation "
the seven spirits of God
" is mentioned (Revelation 4:5). but what gives earthly life to people is not the same spirit or breath as the "Comforter" that Christ promised to send to those that trust Him.

this simply cannot be the same as the Holy Spirit. if it were, then all men that live are full of the Holy Spirit, and that is certainly not true, for many (what should be) evident reasons.

It is good to see that it is mentioned in more than one place of the bible. But I still believe that the breath of life is the Spirit.

Most people have heard of a N.D.E. claiming that their lives had flashed before their eyes. This is the Spirit of truth showing them moments throughout their entire lives. I read of one account were these moments were shown in bubbles (orbs). And it was so overwhelming that Jesus had to hold them up as so their legs would not give in and collapse.

I love to see of truth of scripture in our lives.

John 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth;
for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

He, the Spirit of truth has shown N.D.E moments of their lives..

Ezekiel's Vision God (artist rendition based on scripture)
ezekielsvision2.jpg
Ezekiel 1:16 "a wheel in the middle of a wheel"

What Ezekiel describes as, "a wheel in the middle of a wheel" is obviously orbital.

Here is a real photograph of the face of a spirit in a supernatural orb:
xmas-orb.jpg
Ezekiel 1:21 "for the spirit of the living creatures is in the wheels"
"for the spirit of the living creature was in the orb"

What Ezekiel saw with Father God and the Cherubim (living creatures) was orbs.

Please look very closely at these orbs below and notice how they resemble an eyeball looking directly at the camera man.

1 John 5-6 And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth.

What you are looking at in this photograph is the Spirit bearing witness while looking directly at the camera man.

What Ezekiel saw with Father God and the Cherubim was the Holy Spirit in orbital form.

Note: the Holy Spirit that appeared before Ezekiel with Father God and the Cherubim would have been much more than these photos demonstrate.

Some people who have had a N.D.E. (Near Death Experience) say that they were shown moments of the future.

John 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

Acrylic painting inspired by God through a dream.

By: Child Prodigy Akiane Kramarik entitled, "Pyramids".

...In one of my dreams I saw the image of white pyramids beaten by the ocean and surrounded by live bubbles.

Unlike most of my paintings, I had no idea what those symbols meant, but I painted them anyway.

Today the meaning still remains a riddle...

we have a high pollen count in my part of the country, so i decided to take my camera outside, focus at infinity, turn on the flash, point the camera at the sky and snap a few pictures.

guess what i saw?

as the flash went off hundreds of tiny particles were illuminated for a brief instant to my eyes, like light snow or falling ash from a fire.
this is a sample of what the camera recorded:

IMG_0280.jpg
this was all in about 10 minutes work, including fetching the camera and typing this post, no tripod, no fiddling with settings, and no color balancing. just adjusted the contrast on the RAW image and cropped.

Sorry, but I'm one of the many people who have witnessed supernatural orbs with our naked eyes and know they are real. Your post means nothing to the people who have seen them with their own eyes and know they are a real supernatural spiritual entity.

Here is a link with a great deal of testimonies of people witnessing real orbs with their naked eyes:

Bright White Orb Of Light

You're never going to see supernatural orbs for what they really are if you can't see past pollen and dust particles.

i've said this already, but i'll re-iterate:
i can recreate any of the pictures you've posted. they are dust or water droplets & nothing more. don't be deceived. NONE of the pictures in this thread are pictures of spirits. i posted that picture i took just to demonstrate how easy it is to get that kind of image. after it gets dark tonight, i could make 100 more, if i thought it was worth doing.

i've read every testimony in the link and not one of them mentions Christ. the true Holy Spirit testifies of Christ.

i do not doubt that there is a spiritual world or that some subset of the testimonies in that link represent actual spiritual encounters. BUT if it was the Holy Spirit that they encountered, they would have been moved to glorify Jesus - and not one of them did.

therefor if any of those encounters with the supernatural are real and not deception, it was another spirit, not the Spirit of God. you need to be careful. demons are very real, and Satan himself is an angel of light.

i'm not saying this as if i have never encountered the supernatural myself, friend. i'm just telling you: 99 out of 100 'spirits' that manifest themselves to men are not what they make themselves to appear to be.

Let me see you recreate the picture of an orb with the face of a spirit in it. Jesus Himself had revealed the Holy Spirit and the Spirit of truth to me. I've had a very real ten year relationship with the Holy Spirit and you, who has never even seen the Holy Spirit wants to tell me I'm wrong. In your whole life, you will not know a fraction of what I know of the Holy Spirit. I suggest you stay with the things you know, that's what I do.

It never ceases to amaze me how people who have never even seen the Holy Spirit can sit there and tell me how they are right and I am wrong. I often wonder what is this world coming to?
