JESUS said, the words HE spoke were Spirit and they are Life.
In other words, get saved first and then by the mercies of GOD,renew your mind.

BTW,GOD said the law and grace don't mix, either work Is work or grace Is grace.
is obeying God "work" to you?

Right, Jesus sermon on the mount is the Law clarified for any so deluded as to think they are actually keeping it. "Be perfect, as perfect as the Father in Heaven". All should be thanking God they are no longer under the Law.
Romans 8:4
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:13
For if you live after the flesh, you shall die: but if you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live.

Galatians 5:16
if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law

Those that walk after the flesh, including those that got saved but backslid and/or never learned to be led by the Spirit (Jesus being their first love) are living under the law of sin and death

Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

In today's apostate church... they teach or at least imply that it matters not whether the Lord is your first love so the door is wide open to live after the flesh and they say you'll go to heaven anyway.

Just part of the end times deception going around...sadly, some will have to learn the hard way cause they still love the things of this world more then the Lord so they are enemies of the Lord (James 4:4) and don't even know it

Grace and Law are not opposed at all
Law and grace are opposed to each other at every point. Until you get that right the rest will continue to escape you.

That plus accepting the truth that Jesus is God of course.

Salvation Is by grace through FAITH.Faith Is a fruit of the Spirit,I didn't do any physical work,I only display the fruit,GOD's workmanship created In CHRIST JESUS unto good works which were before ordained that we should walk In them.

If you are talking about the body, there Is some reason to boast, but not before GOD.

BTW,weren't we kept under law until faith was revealed, meaning grace through fauth.

Give GOD all the credit,Its not GOD did It all and I helped.

You do understand that we live in the information age where most everyone publishes what they believe out on the net... it's easy to find out what they believe and many churches post MP3 messages for all to hear.

Not to mention, Jesus taught that many would come in His Name claiming to be anointed and would deceive many not to mention the Word teaches us that in the end time some would depart from the faith and follow doctrines of devils and traditions of men.

Rejecting God's promises certainly falls under the category of doctrines of devils and traditions of men

amen. i find value in the wording " the righteousness of the law is fulfilled in us" and Jesus said " I have not come to abolish the Law, but to fulfill it."

thw world is very dark indeed andthere is only 1 light to be found, Jesus Christ and those who reflect His same light to the world. still the source of all light is Jesus Christ who said

john 8:12 "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever FOLLOWS ME will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

and who said john 8:31-32 "To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you HILD TO my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32THEN YOU WILL KNOW THE TRUTH, and THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE.”

now, the popular grace argument is " well he said that to his disciples then" but we have the great commission of the resurrected Lord who clearly sends the same gospel to the world

matthew 28:18-20 "Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and TEACHING THEM TO OBEY EVERYTHING I HAVE COMMANDED YOU. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Then we have light to understand

acts 26:22-23 "But God has helped me to this very day; so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen— 23that the Messiah would suffer and, AS THE FIRST TO RISE FROM THE DEAD WOULD BRING THE MESSAGE OF LIGHT TO HIS OWN PEOPLE AND TO THE GENTILES"

isaiah 53 says He would suffer for our sin and die, and be resurrected.

Isaiah 42:6"I am the LORD, I have called you in righteousness, I will also hold you by the hand and watch over you, And I will appoint you as a covenant to the people, As a light to the nations,"

isaiah 49:6"
He says, "It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also make You a light of the nations So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth."

I understand why so many resist His ministry because

john 3:20-21 "
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God"

sinners know that Gods word will require repentance, so when we are following the flesh which is our first Love before Jesus camoes into our Lives, we are like the isrealites, we simply dont want to Know the truth because we are in Love with the flesh and Know the truth from God will be holy and require repentance. to first begin learning the gospel, will expose our sin and bring conviction, but faith in Jesus Christ, will as He says overcome that deception because His will is that we are Like Jesus. so many ways to invent to denythe only One who Knows and offers eternal Life Just by believing what He is saying. if we believe Him, we will obey Him because of who he is and what He has done

as would inventing any Gospel apart from that which Jesus taught the world.

God's Word teaches that there would be much deception in the end times, so God's Word is true.

Based on what God's Word teaches I don't have to check out each and every church on the planet that claims to be Christian.

Many, many churches in the west follow TV preachers... and what they say becomes popular teaching so all one really needs to do is see what the popular TV preachers are saying and that's what is being filtered down to most churches at least in the west

If you are not aware of the false teaching going around... you should pull thy head out!

Yes, and in doing so many dishing out "correction" are rejecting some of the promises of God due to having been taught carnal made made religion traditions.

We need to accept God's promises as He put forth in His Word along with His correction and instruction in righteousness.

It's your promise premise. So it's up to you to define what promises of Jesus you are referring to that are being rejected.

first, ive never said anyth9ong Like i get the credit, thats Just how you folks do, you see whats not there, and accuse a person of saying that thats not my issue its the perception, you cant accuse me of something you say.

Hebrews 11:6 "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he REWARDS THOSE who diligently seek him."

yeah by Grace, the Grace that Jesus taught, not the grace that is defined in websters dictionary though. Faith is required 100 percent. because woithout faith, God is not pleased. im all for Grace, i reject 100 percent Grace that pretends to come through another source but the gospel. Grace is Jesus dying for the ungodly, not that they are free to continue in that way of Life, but in order to bring them into Obedience to the same Holy God. to this, the gentiles are called as well as the jews

romans 1:5 "Through him we received grace and apostleship to call all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith for his name's sake."

Grace is distorted by the doctrine of gog. and by the teachings that come from the distortion. Grace leads to obeying the commands of Jesus, or it is not from God. and the grace that teaches us to deny sin, and teaches us to obey id found in the only Gospel that exists. grace did not come through paul, joseph prince or anyone else, just as the Law of moses diodnt come through aaron or levi. they were priests of that Law, thats over now for those who accept the gospel. because you take grace as unconditional once you say Lord, your saved no matter what you do, that Leads to further distortions and ommissions. do you suppose Jesus didnt teach Grace in the same way paul did?

who is it that began saying " the work of God is this, believe in the One He sent?" or who said " it is my Fathers will than all who look to His Son have eternal Life'? paul uses different words to say the same things, even regarding repentance. paul absolutely taught that repentance is rewuired Just Like Jesus. He taught that belief in Jesus as LORD, will save and it will. but He has to Be the Lord, if you believe that He is the Lord, why in the world do you folks of gog, insist constantly that obeying Him is not rewuired because of grace? let me ask you as question, i never really understand what you do believe so let me ask and give you an opportunity to clarify your belief so im not seeing what " your not saying" and just ask you this

How does a person, who is a sinner become saved? please undrstand, disagreeing is ok, im honestly asking you to explain what you do believe is required for salvation. repentance of sin? obedience to God? pretend im not a bel;iever and you are telling me how to be saved. ill check back later to see if you have responded. thanks and again try not to assume im having a " tone" but actually am asking how you believe i can be saved.

some of these folks i have had this same discussion with for 10 months......i once wrote a post 7 words that is the gospel. pertaining to hear Jesus and obey Jesus. i cant recall the wording exactly, which lead to arguments accusations ect....which over 10 moinths has lead me to posts like this op. i used to have short posts without scriopture but then was told " thats not in the Bible" so then i began adding scripture that was clear , to which i was told " thats just your craxy interpretation" so then i began using mostly scripture some posts purely scripture, to which i was told, " your just making scripture say what you want it to say. i think some will just not accept that but which they think is right whether it agrees with the Bible or not, if thier thoughts dont agree, then " its Just a bad interpretation even if scripture says what it says.

people have thier own definitions of things like faith, grace, repentance ect. that are very different from the Bibles taching of those terms and what they actually mean to us. Im thankful to have met you and anyone who sticks to the word as God presented it rather than trusting, sorry to butt in to your convo, just wanted to let you know that i consider what you say
