Thank you and God bless you too.

Here's a good verse for all the workers out there.

“Martha, Martha,” the Lord replied, “you are worried and upset about many things. But only one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, and it will not be taken away from her.”

In response to your opening doubts of my faith, it sounds to me that anyone who does ot learn and follow what Jesus Christ teaches is missing out on much of how the law works within the parameters of grace.

No man is saved by obeying th elaw, but all the lost are lost because of breaking it willfully.

and just because were not saved by obeying the Law....doesnt translate to its okay to break it. we die to its authority iver us, but it is so full of value to learn and grow in.

why do you go here and think this makes sense? It makes no sense at all. Are you saying you do not believe Jesus was the only person who ever lived perfectly according to the law. That other people have also? That you have? Or you can?

Well news flash,. If you broke one command, You are guilty, You are under a curse. Because as Moses wrote, and as Paul re-affirmed, Cursed is every who does not confirm and obey every word written. And no. This is not speaking of the Levitical laws. it is speaking of the many commands, the moral laws. Most specifically, and not to take away from. The ten commands (it was written right after they were given)

Your right, the law will never stop. As long as their are non believers who need led to Christ. It will still be valid (they need the schoolmaster also)

But for those of us who has been led by the schoolmaster. We are not under law. We are under grace.

I repeat.

1. Jesus because a curse for us (who can not obey the law on our own)
2. Once the schoolmaster leads us to Christ, it's job is done (and not. This is not just the dietary and levitical laws. They can not show you you are a sinner. OInly the moral laws can do this.. Without them, The laws use as a schoolmaster is null and void. The law is one unit. It must stand as one.

Jesus didnt follow the mosaic Law perfectly...He actually disobeyed part of it. He wasnt under the mosaic Law, He had complete authority over the mosaic Law because He came to suffer and die to remove it from the believer in Him. The Mosaic Law does Much not a single purpose but many. without the Law we would Not understand right and wrong. we would have no understanding of conscience, we could never understand that we were a sinner, never understand that we needed a savior....and your point is that the "law led us to christ" yet " christ taught the law"? the theories like " Jesus taught the mosaic Law" " theres a difference pre cross and then post cross" all of the many "reasons" why were not really supposed to take Jesus word as the Lords word, things that attempt to disqualify from relevance to the church His ministry are all the same. Jesus as the op makes pretty clear, did not teach the mosaic Law. He died to fulfill it for those who believe in Him, and His ministry is the final word of God. Just Like paul, Jesus teaches repentance, and faith that leads to obedience. and our salvation is now and forever will be because of Gods grace. yet not the grace that encourages continuoing sin or makes sin " no biggy im forgiven so i dont need to repent...finished works and the faith OF ......and the rest dont work" those things are not actually taught in scripture, they are mistaught FROM scripture. The best way to stay in line with the truth, is to believe Jesus words about His own Kingdom, and reject everything that seeks to keep you from it. obeying the Lord is a good thing, leading to good places for anyone who does it

Where is the scripture to support that Jesus didn't follow the law perfectly? The Bible that I read tells me that He did and its part of the reason the Pharisees and others hated Him. Jesus suffered and died to save us from the penalty of breaking the law.

Matthew 5:17-20
17“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.18For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.19Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.20For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus explained this with the tax collector/pharisee (not tax collector and "a Jew") parable. there is no mention of the problem being the law. its the person
John the baptist, Samuel, Elijah all obeyed the law, they didnt do this to use as a tool to set themselves above others.
the pharisees were corrupting the law and leading many away. they corrupted it by adding to it. they knew it but didnt follow it. i dont remember Jesus correcting them for following the law, he corrected them for being hypocrites and adding to it.

the Law is not for eternal Life, it is for the hebrews who were led from egypt, those "stiffnecked" people needed rules there is nothing in the law to offer what Jesus offers. if the law could make man righteous then Jesus was crucified for no reason. we do Have " law" it is any and everything taught by Jesus and it is applicable in all areas of life because they are spiritual principles He taugght. if we learn Jesus and follow His teachings, we will not be transgressing the mosaic moral law. the Law of moses, is the first covenant, Jesus ended the Law in the lives of Believers, BUT He gave all that is relevant on His ministry. including the 10 commandments. the spirit in the gospel, will uphold the letters of the Law Just by following the spirit taught by Jesus.

galatians 2: 19-21 "For through the law I DIED TO the law SO THAT I might LIVE FOR GOD. 20I have been CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I LIVE IN THE BODY, I live BY FAITH IN the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21I do not set aside the grace of God, for IF righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"

The Law of moses, is regulations for sinners to "purge the sin" from thier community because God was with them. the Law of moses is for the Jews. The Gospel is for the world. and only through Jesus, whether Jew or gentile, will anyone inherit eternal Life

lol...people may think its " not politically correct" but i went in so many circles like this one with certain folks and ended up ignoring the comments........sooooooo much more peaceful after 9 months of the same circle of omissions and crazy reasonings of why we need to "properly divide the word" by ommiting anything that doesnt say " grace"....dont let em get to ya you always have good input and additions, God bless

“If you take away the grace of God from the gospel you have extracted from it its very life-blood, and there is nothing left worth preaching, worth believing, or worth contending for. Grace is the soul of the gospel: without it the gospel is dead. Grace is the music of the gospel: without it the gospel is silent as to all comfort.”

i think you may be confusing the 10 commandments with the law of moses. the law of moses is found throughout the first 5 books of the bible. part of the Law is to stone the person who is caught in sin, that is absolutely a part of the mosaic Law. even children who cursed thioer parents were commanded By God, to be stoned by the community. Jesus, though born to mary under Law, showed His authority over it throughout His ministry. No one on earth could have changed " stone the sinner, into forgive the sinner." Only Jesus could do this, Being the very One appointed By The Only God. God sisnt change His mind on the mosaic Law, Christ saves us from it because those baptized into Him, are credited with His death.

leviticus 20:10 ""'If a man commits adultery with another man's wife--with the wife of his neighbor--both the adulterer and the adulteress are to be put to death."

This is 100 percent a command of the Law it is found elsewhere also

john 8:5 "In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such a woman. So what do You say?"

This is the truth, the mosaic Law commands adulterers to be stoned in order to " purge the sin from among the people" cant be argued that this is a law given to the people by Moses, who gave the entire Law.

Jesus, told those trying to follow this law something new, Let the one without sin cast the first stone" Jesus had no sin, yet He did not cast a stone, rather He by Grace, forgave Her sin and then commanded Her to go and son no more."

This is not to follow the Law, Jesus did not follow the Law of moses clearly and beyond dispute you have the mosaic law that says clearly the adulterer is to be put to death" Jesus did not carry this commandment out. theres your proof that Jesus didnt follow perfectly the mosaic Law.

as to your point that Jesus was the only one to follow the mosaic law perfectly

Luke 1:6 "Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commands and decrees blamelessly."

this is a reference to zechariah and His wife before Jesus was born. " observing all the commandments and decrees blamelessly" pretty clear the Law cant save us from the curse of adam, the law came BECAUSE of the curse of adam, Jesus is the only cure for that, and His ministry is NOT the mosaic Law at all, But the Kingdom of God is what is preached through the new testament. Jesus didnt need the mosaic Law, because the mosaic Law is for sinners. Being born a man, is for the purpose of removing the Law from Man, because a man had to die to fulfill Gods word to adam. the Mosaic Law is judaism, the Kingdom of God is Jesus

The 10 commandments are part of the Law. Paul himself shows this is true unless...."thou shall not covet.." is not one of the 10 commandments anymore. There is no such thing as separating out the law of Moses.

Romans 7:7 (NASB)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? May it never be! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, "YOU SHALL NOT COVET."

Jesus was born under the Law so that He could redeem those that were under the Law - the Jews themselves. Gal. 4:4-5

Don't kid yourself.
I never do kid myself when it comes to scripture, I just prayerfully seek the truth, and God delivers faithfully. again as usual out of context verses to attempt to support convaluted views through the special grace Lens.......Paul is saying nothing different in those verses than He says elsewhere, and everyone born of flesh and blood is already born in captivity to sin. were born as slaves to sin, the only freedom from that slavery is to die and be born again through Christ. The Law remains, but those who choose Jesus, have died to its authority. You need badly to pray and study things without any man made ideas of a lens we have to look through, and Just humbly learn from Jesus, thats what every one of us needs to do. never will happen until a person accepts Who Jesus is.

romans 7:14-21 will give you this

galatians 5:17 "For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want."

this is the exact same point paul is making in romans 7, He then goes on to explain that Jesus is the one who cures that conflict by following the spirit, the gospel, His words of spirit and Life. the end result is freedom from the spirit v flesh conflict, so that we do what we want to do, rather than following Laws that we ont really want to follow. the end result of the gospel is

1 john 5:3 "In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,"

the difference is Jesus changes us inwardly so that Gods ways become what we desire, the Law of moses cannot do that for someone, rather, it is spiritual regulations, given to those unspiritual because we died through adam. adam is the one who sold mankind into slavery to sin, Jesus is the one who redeems us from that slavery.

1 timothy 1:8-11 "We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. We also KNOW that the LAW IS MADE NOT FOR THE RIGHTEOUS but for LAWBREAKERS and REBELS, the UNGODLY and SINFUL, the UNHOLY and IRRELIGIOUS, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the SEXUALLY IMMORAL, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and LIARS and PERJERURS—and for whatever else is CONTRARY TO the sound doctrine that CONFORMS TO the gospel concerning the GLORY of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me."

Why, if scripture is this clearly stated does it always meet with 10 different arguments, why cant we share in, learn from, encourage with Gods word and have peace since we all "have faith in Jesus" ? our differing opinions criticisms, arguments stifle any growth. when the motive is to learn Gods true Word that is clear and is Life to those who Believe Him, Because we do trust and believe in Him, Jesus "opinion" should teach us what to believe. Our bibles all say the same things the same message is given to us through basically any translation Jesus sums the entire Bible Up...Just tha name Jesus, or even if you prefer Yeshua. Either way, Gods Son fulfills everything, and provides everything through His wisdom and Truth, through His Love for us shown at calvary, His power shown rising from the dead, His words Directly from the Mouth of God, spoken By Jesus to Man full of Life, and the spirit, and then commanded spread to all the nations and peoples of the earth so that all could have the chance to believe regardless of nationality, social status, prisoner, slave or free man. God reaches to all men( including women) through His Son, Jesus Christ.

concerning the Law, The Law came when sin Had corrupted all flesh, it came to sinners to rule thier actions, restrain thier sensuality....until the time appointed for the appearance of Jesus Christ, the Son of God who is Gods Complete and Living Word, He is everything to a Christian, His words, as important as His death and resurrection, His ministry becomes Life to those who believe. The Law was mankinds tutor about righteousness and sin, regulating sin, death was imposed on those people by each other according to the Law, because the Law had no way to change the inner parts of those people, they would always be sinners, even obeying the Laws righteously...they were sinners acting righteous from fear of death. Death reigned over man, through the Law, in order to reveal mans complete need for God to save Us through the Christ ,Our savior, His Son ....The Lord Jesus.

the Law of moses promised blessing on earth, long life on earth, prosperity on earth ect. based on How well someone obeyed all of the many ordinances. But to those who failed to obey, they were removed and the sentance of the Law of sin and death was imposed. to obey every Law of moses right now forever, cannot bring eternal Life, there is no provision for eternal Life in the Law. That is found In the command of Jesus Christ, Gods Word through Jesus Is the promuise of eternal Life, accompanied by persecution while on earth. the Law promised earthly prosperity, and a place resting in the earth. Jesus is the resurrection of man, the Law is mans crucifixion. The Law is reward on earth, the Gospel holds eternal rewards in Heaven for sacrifice Now.

romans 3:19-20 "Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, SO THAT every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. Therefore NO ONE will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, THROUGH THE LAW WE BECOME CONSCIOUS OF OUR SIN."

romans 7:1 "Do you not know, brothers and sisters—for I am speaking to those who know the law—that the law has authority over someone only as long as that person lives?"

romans 7:4-6"So, my brothers and sisters, you also DIED TO THE LAW through the body of Christ, that you might BELONG TO another, to HIM WHO WAS RAISED FROM THE DEAD, in order that we might bear fruit for God. For when we were in the realm of the flesh,a the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in us, so that we bore fruit for death. But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.'

we died through Jesus to the authority to the Law, and we also Believe that Jesus became all authority becausethe word says this. He released us from the Law, by dying and providing us with the way to die to the law and Live for God. that is what salvation is about. the gospel is inward because it is spirit, it is about changing the heart from sinner to saint, through forgiveness and teaching us correctly the things God desires from us. The Law is nothing Like the Gospel of The Kingdom that Jesus began teaching, after John announced it as the prophets foretold. The gospel is a new thing beoing revealed to man, having been promised Long before to abraham. the Law is the first step in Gods plan of salvation, it is made to keep man until Jesus is accepted as Lord, when we accept Jesus...the Law becomes a learning tool, but no longer our authority, we follow the spirit and not the code of the flesh man restraining His sinful desire....we learn the nature of Jesus Christ. which is to Lay down ourselves for the sake of our fellow man brotherly Love.

galatians 3:19 "WHY, then, WAS THE LAW GIVEN at all? It was added BECAUSE of TRANSGRESSIONS until the Seed to whom the promise referred had come. The law was given through angels and entrusted to a mediator." ( the law was added because of?)

galatians 2:“19-21 "For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!” (could the Law bring righteousness? if so, why did Jesus need to die? and why are we taught to die through Jesus?)

1 timothy 1:8-11 "We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. We also know that the law is made NOT FOR THE RIGHTEOUS but for LAWBREAKERS and REBELS, the UNGODLY and SINFUL, the UNHOLY and IRRELIGIOUS, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me." ( was the Law sent to sinful mankind? or to the righteous children of God?) sinners are the fallen first creation, Gods children are the result of the new creation only found in Jesus Christ, and the Gospel He gave to us in Love.

This isnt replying to anyone particularly, Just more on the Law, and the gospel i didnt have time before....

Right, Jesus sermon on the mount is the Law clarified for any so deluded as to think they are actually keeping it. "Be perfect, as perfect as the Father in Heaven". All should be thanking God they are no longer under the Law.

learn to rightly divide the word of truth bro! you begin to do that by first of all distinguishing between what was said to Israel and what was said to the church( the new creation).

It will be a waste of time responding to the same things on this tread again since it has been dealt with on other treads!

So anyone who wants to understand that Jesus was a minister of circumcision( Jews) and that most of what He taught was the law, should kindly go back and read related treads on this forum.
Jesus already divided the word for us, and how would you then omit this

matthew 28:18-20 "Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

the same message Jesus spoke to His disciples then, He after the resurrection gave them this command. to go teach all to obey everything Jesus had taught them. you guys always have this idea of dividing the word, how do you folks divide the word? grace is all, nothing else applies......its fallacy, heresy, ommission of Gods Word. you guys attempt to divide Jesus word out of everything. you need badly to understand that the Christ was the One who was promised to come and explain everything to the Jews, and His message unchanged would then be sent to the gentiles

isaiah 49:6 "he says: "It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth."

Jesus wasnt only for the Jews, He is the Lord of everyone, the savior of all the world. i suppose youll omit the commission and claim pauls is lord so whats Paul say?

acts 26:20-23 "First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds. 21That is why some Jews seized me in the temple courts and tried to kill me. 22But God has helped me to this very day; so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen— 23that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the MESSAGE OF light to his own people AND TO the Gentiles.”

the great commission above is where that happened, when he told His jewish disciples to go forth into all nations....and teach them to obey everything He commanded. pretty simple really, but ommission negates truth. since you are all so confident how to properly divide the word, explain how thats done, since apparantly Jesus hadno clue of things pertaining to His own Kingdom.

the Law " stone the sinner, Judge each other, condemn each other" Jesus " forgive one another, let He who is without sin cast the first stone....neither do i condemn you now go and sin no more" yeah...lol thats the same .

the Law canme through Moses, Grace and TRUTH came through Jesus Christ.

paul....acts 20:21 "I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they MUST turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus."

Paul ...(kjv)1 timothy 6:3-5"If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the WORDS OF our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; 4He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, 5Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself."

John ..2 john 1: 9-11 "
Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds."

the only division of the word needed is the division already made By Jesus who is the Christ. the grace lens division, is spelled " d e n y a n d o m i t what you dont want to hear, Jesus doctrine is perfect and will always and forever Govern His church, anyone denying His words are denying Him

john 12:48 "
There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day."

i see just fine and there is simply not anything in those passages that plainly say the law is abolished. Jesus did speak plainly on this:
"For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished."

doesn't get any plainer than that

Jesus was the sacrificial lamb was He not? b4 Jesus did they not make sacrifices in the temple, was this done to abolish the law? i dont think so.

Luciferians have doctrines in their dark occult belief system, one of them is "do what you will", what it means, they follow no laws, because they believe Lucifer has liberated them from the law.
and this is a big reason i have never been a big believer in the "Jesus liberated us from the law" theology, because its the same concept of those that follow Lucifer.
okay lets see if this is plain to you

romans 7:1-6 "Do you not know, brothers and sisters—for I am speaking to those who know the law—that the law has authority over someone ONLY AS LONG as that person lives? 2For example, by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law that binds her to him. 3So then, if she has sexual relations with another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress if she marries another man.4So, my brothers and sisters, you also DIED TO THE LAW through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God. 5For when we were in the realm of the flesh,[SUP]a[/SUP] the sinful passions AROUSED BY THE LAW were at work in us, so that we bore fruit for death. 6But now, by DYING TO what once bound us, we have been RELEASED FROM THE LAW so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code."

thats REALLY clear to me, the Laws authority ends at death, if you study the Law every letter you will find that there is nothing to apply after death. condemnation under law is a death sentance, you sin, you get stoned, the end. But scripture is very clear that we died through Jesus death. above in those scriptures and moreso here

romans 6:3-4 "Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life."

when we are baptized when we go under the water, we are joined with Jesus in His death, the purpose of this is to release us from the mosaic Law because when a person dies, just like marriage, they are free to re marry. thats what its about were not married to the mosaic Law, Our husband is Jesus, and we know that the bride is bound to obey thier Husband dont we? we died to the Law, when yu die, the temporal Law ends its authoprity over you. its not as if we dont havr=e Law, our Law is everything Jesus taught. He taught to obey the 10 commandments so they apply. He taught many things that are from the moral aspects ofthe Law, but the Law is one and we cant obey parts of the mosaic Law, and not other parts its the whole if we transgress any 1 Law, weve broken the Law.

Thats why we are taught clearly that we died to the mosaic Law, and now are married to Jesus, He Gave the Kingdom of God and its Law, the Law of the spirit of Life. in those first scriptures realize what paul is saying in regards to the Law working against us, arousing sinful passions, the Law was never flawed....we were back then we were born of adam, sinners why did the Law come?

1 timothy 1:9-11 "We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, 10for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine"

why do you suppose pauls writings constantly resist christians adhereing to the mosaic Law? why does He teach so much about putting to death our selves and clothing ourselves with Jesus? because

galatians 2:19-21 “For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. 20I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"

I understand you percieve im speaking against the mosaic Law, im not at all, the Law is good, righteous and holy, but it is not the Law that governs christianity. Moses taught the Law, Jesus taught the Kingdom. the Law was meant to govern sinners, restrict them because of this part which is before the law was given

genesis 6:5 "The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time."

this is the reason the Law came

galatians 3:19 "
Why then was the Law given? It was added because of transgressions, until the arrival of the seed to whom the promise referred. It was administered through angels by a mediator."

and the laws purpose

galatians 3:20 "
Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God's sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin."

if the law hadnt come, those wicked people would never have Known what sin was, and what not to do. it was only meant to lead us to Jesus and His ministry, its a foreshadow of what Jesus would teach us. the Law should be learned and wisdom says learn and obey its morality, its worth is substantial. buit obeying the mosaic Law, will not, and cannot bring eternal Life or salvation because there is no provision in it for those things, its meant to make us conscious of right and wrong.

Notice when Jesus came, John was already teaching baptism? that baptism is the end of what was, and the beginning of what is. notice " repent, for the Kingdonm of heaven is near." those people under the law had become aware of thier sin through the Law, and it was time for Gods word to be manifest to them, and then to the world through those who walked with Him. the Kingdom of God is the reality its what Jesus taught, the Law of moses was the Law of abrahams earthly descendants, we who have accepted and been baptized into Jesus, are dead to the mosaic Law and it doesnt extend beyond death, its only for blesing on earth while were here. its precepts are all good, right and true, but Jesus is far greater. we OBEY Jesus, not moses, nor is moses going to Judge us, But Jesus is.
