Ariel, is God a jealous God that REFUSE to share a vessel with ANY other husband or god? For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
Jesus asked God to make us PERFECTLY one with eachother, and with HIM. If you people just get the ONENESS and who IS THE ONE we are made one into.... Then you will realize... God is the ONE! not me and you GOD! And in God is NO SIN... NONE .... Zip.... ZERO! ... ZITCH...

If you cannot see that I cannot help you, God ask God....

Yes Ariel... it is a very defenate spiritual swop when God implants the Holy Spirit... Jesus said He wants to be in us, and He wants us in Him...

God said... I will PUT A NEW HEART IN YOU... AND A NEW SPIRIT... AND THE STONEY HEART... GONE!!!! The sinning SPIRIT? GONE... DEAD!!! THEN REVIVED TO BE HIS HOLY SPIRIT!

Now please this is in PLAIN English.... ALL WHO ARE IN CHRIST IS A NEW CREATURE, THE OLD IS GONE, BEHOLD EVERYTHING IS MADE NEW..... If God makes something NEW, IT IS PERFECT! BECAUSE HE WANTS IT PERFECT. NOTHING to do with you or me.... HE wants it, HE DOES IT. PERIOD!

It is expressed out in post 48

I am a bit confused as to your question. However. To Paul, once the law came to him, sin sprang to life and he died.
Sin used what was good and Holy to wrought all manner of covetous desire/concupiscence in Paul.

Paul wrote:

For sin seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment deceived me, and by it slew me
Rom7:11

To Paul the power of sin was the law(1Cor15:56) Because he feared if he could not obey the law he was condemned, sin used that knowledge/belief to arouse all kiinds of sin in Paul and slay him by it. For Paul was living under the law unto salvation, a righteousness of law keeping(or justification of law keeping) if you like, and the consequences of faliure to uphold the law
But when Paul became a Christian he died to a righteousness of law keeping, and lived under a sole righteousness of faith in Christ. He knew then he could not earn his way to Heaven by being good enough under the law, he was free from that which had wrought all manner of sin in him, a righteousness before God of obediance to the law. Therefore as sin had sprang to life in him and produced every kind of covetous desire in him due to him believing he had a righteousness before God of obediance to the law, now Paul was living under a righteousness of faith in Christ sin would start to lose its grip over him, because what caused sin to be so made manifest in him had been removed.
Therefore by Paul focusing on a sole righteousness before God of faith in Christ the consequence of that had to be that sin would not be Paul's master, he would start to live a holier life.

So if you know you are found not guilty because Christ died for you on the cross there is linkage with that obviously to living a holier life, it is a natural prgression if you like, but this can only happen if you do not look at this subject with the view that unless I live a holy life I am condemned, for once you actually look at it that way you are in effect back under law and sin shall be your master, does that make sense?
Living a holier life hinges on believing you have a sole righteousness before God of faith in Christ, you can never take the view, that UNLESS you live a holier life you are condemned
For sin shall not be your master, for thyou are notr under law but under grace
Rom6:14

The linkage is there, but can only happen as long as you believe you have but one righteousness for Heaven before God, faith in Christ, not by ACTUALLY linking that in your own mind to condemnation if the linkage does not happen, for once you do that you put yourself back under the law
My apologies if I have explained that badly

I want to understand what is being said here, but for now, my limitations do not allow it. My own understanding of sanctification is being sanctified by the Blood of the Lamb of God. He also has justified me because I sure cannot justify myself. As per condition, I immediately think in terms of the human state in this age, but in Christ I am made to have overcome this. Finally, fruit I relate to the fruit of labors given me since the infilling of the Holy Spirit, and to work in the Light given is desireable, so now I am totally without a clue. I want to understand this, and what I think for now is not much help in that regard.
Confuse sanctification with justification and condition with fruit and you shall have no gospel.

Justification is when our sin are forgiven. We are justified and God cannot remember our sin.
Sanctification is when we are consecrate to God and live a pure life.
Then come the baptism of the Holy Spirit who take us and use us like He want .
Water for justification, Blood for sanctification, Spirit for the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

The word, Blood, is not used in any of these quotes, however the Holy Spirit is. The words, one offering, are employed. I do know that without the Blood of the Lamb and the Holy Spirit, we cannot approach Yahweh, God. You tell me.

Jud 1:1
Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:

Heb 10:14
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Heb 10:10
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

1Ti 4:5
For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

1Co 7:14
For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

1Co 6:11
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Rom 15:16
That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost

Act 26:18
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

.

I won't continue this with you.

The above is ludicrous Cobus, and extremely dangerous to state.
Ephesians 4:11 to 13... And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

1 John 3... Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

And they ALL were made LIKE HIM right here on earth.... BUT THE WORLD KNOWETH THEM NOT!!!! Mark ask yourself if you know one of these... Children of God, that were made unto a perfect man to the FULNESS of Christ... then ask yourself WHY NOT!

Oh please bookends... (you meant crossnote)

.... I can only hope I am also of HIS elect. If you are there already, which I doubt, becasue you do not even believe in Matthew 5:48, 1 John3:9, 1 John 5:18, Eph 4:11 to 13,... that is why I doubt you are there already, but as I have hope for me, I also encourage you to FOLLOW Jesus ALL the way my friend... Remember how Jesus warned the ones that offers blessings and peace and do not have it themselves.... BEWARE of those FALSE teachers my friend... I have not the peace JESUS offers, but I WANT it... Let us see if God takes me there,,...
Thanks for your insights in telling me what I believe and don't believe. I'll suppose you'll claim the Holy Spirit told you I don't believe those passages thus dragging Him into your web of falsely accusing the brethren?

How can Corbus believe he has been taught by the Holy Spirit?
He does not believe the Holy Spirit dwells in him
He believes he must achieve perfection in the flesh before that will happen/he must learn to cease all sin

If Cobus feel not worthy, then good, the gospel is for him.
