I believe you will go to hell....but if we confessed what we done we can turn from our sins. But you have to be willing to lose the lifestyle you had and follow Him.

Response to the OP

There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth .... and a very hot fire of dissolution

The Lord means what He says about this matter .... no one should second guess Him

Your question is very unclear and confusing and I will tell you why.

Even by your own definition you state that to obey the gospel is to accept the sacrifice, death and resurrection of Jesus. Well the question of your thread is When a Believer does not obey the gospel....A believer accepted Jesus so therefore obeyed. The wicked reject and would be the ones that did not obey the gospel.

My second thought was we needed to accept the gospel not necessarily obey it but by your definition I can see a believer could obey the gospel by accepting it.....Just my thoughts....

Jesus told Nicodemus that we must be born again to be saved. He then said it is of water and spirit.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Peter knew this as he gave the gospel message for salvation in Acts. The gospel is the Death, Burial, Resurrection of Jesus Christ. To obey it, is to do what Peter said to do...

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
[39] For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

1. Death = repent
2. Burial = water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins
3. Resurrection = Holy Spirit

Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
[4] Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
[5] For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

The reason many here reject the gospel is because they reject water baptism as the "burial" - thus deny, and "believe not" the salvation message. They are in rebellion.

2 Thessalonians 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

If we are not water baptized (buried with Christ into his death), then we cannot be raised in the likeness of his resurrection.

1. Death = repent
2. Burial = water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins
3. Resurrection = Holy Spirit

Notice the above, we have both water and spirit (burial and resurrection).

the more I look at this ...the more demented it gets.....the man is telling someone to get baptised with living water....does he have the power to do that?....Jesus commanded his disciples to baptise with water.....water baptism in the NT is always associated with remission of sins.....now this crazy person is saying to someone ...Be baptized with the living water that gives life to our mortal bodies. if this is not madness I don't know what is... and to top it off he says don't get baptised with water.....Not the physical water which gives a wet body.

this is demonic if anything.....

Yeah its demonic.

John said jesus will baptise with the HS (living water)
Jesus said he will baptise with the HS (living water)
Jesus promised to give us living water, which will spring up to eternal life. that water being the Holy Spirit.

It is demonic to preach that God will baptise us with a living water which is pure and undefiled and can last forever. and to follow this baptism with a testimony of water baptism as God commanded.

No It is demonic that people replace the living water with physical water, which will never wash anyone's sins away.

that in fact is called blasphemy, because it replaces the WORK OF GOD with the WORK OF MEN!

I rest my case.

This guy never responds to ANYTHING you say, All he can do is come back with jabs. which does not even respond to what he is supposedly responding to

why people respond to him is beyond me.

Water baptism is only a symbol burial with Christ, not in actual meaning. A lot of people do water baptism and not really bury with Christ, they still do the drug, drunk and commit adultery after water baptism.

What people need is a transformation, not simply a reformation. And, obeying the gospel is the path to take.

Unfortunately however, many that desperately need that transformation, are the very ones that "obey not" the gospel of Christ.

A lot of that has come down out of the false teaching that people can live however they want as long as they have faith in Jesus. The false teaching that you can even live in willful sin after believing in Christ. That is why some still continue to do the wrong things in life will no real repentance, or repentance at all.

You will not be transformed by water baptism. You will not be transformed by obeying a set of rules. the jews proved that for 100's of years.

You will be transformed by the renewing of your mind. and only by being born of the spirit. made alivein christ, then letting God renew your mind on the inside out.

this is what causes true obedience, as we learn to love as God loved us.

and this differs from legalism, which looks at self as compaired with others and not God. Excuse a multitude of sin and ignore them because they would have to force you to admit your not what you claim to be?

there are far far more legalists excusing sin, the licentious excusing sin. Legalism is the greatest harm to the church, because it looks so good and seems so right. Thats why it has been satans greatest lie since sin first entered the world.

Legalism does not excuse sin, those who say you don't have to follow Jesus commands to be a sheep and therefore can continue to sin freely and live however they want are the ones who excuse sin. These are the ones who even take and make homosexual relationships acceptable. Legalism would not, for they would stay strict to the laws of you can not do this or that.
Jesus did away with all the written ordinances of the mosaic law, but not the moral aspects of it that was taught by God.
He came to fulfill it, and showed us that to fulfill the law was living in love.
Following the greatest command to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind; and the second command to love your neighbors as yourself the law is fulfilled within you.

You said before I judge others, but that is not what I do. The Word makes it clear that hatred, contentions, strife, and uncaring is not the way of the Lord. And like I said they are areas that one still needs to work on in their life in that process of the Holy Spirit molding you to be perfect. Hince work out your own salvation.

Sorry, But your wrong.

Legalism states man can be righteous they can live up to Gods standard. In order to say they, they have to do what the pharisees did and water down the law of God. this excusing their sin.

Legalism will always condemn sexual sin, murder and other extreme overt sins, and refuse to admit their sin is just as ugly in the eyes of God. and when God looks on both of them, he is sickened at their sight, so much so he can not relate to either.

Until one can admit what a sinner he or she is, they will never be able to repent and come to God, and even star the healing process of growing in Christ. Until then they will be legalistic pharisees who think they are righteous, when they are nothing even close to righteous. But blind to their plight.

At least a licentious person can be shown their sin, and see the error of their ways, and has hope of still coming to Christ. As with the pharisees, it is next to impossible for a legalist to come to Christ, they do not think they need him.

Yup, there is misunderstanding of what the real meaning of faith.
Jesus said the tree seen by it fruit.

Good tree produce good fruit.

Real faith produce good fruit/work. If a man profess have a faith in Jesus and continue as robber he is not really have a faith in Jesus.

If a branch claim to abide in a vine, and not bear a fruit, than he is not abide in vine.

If a man abide in vine, he will bear good fruit.

Apostle John said if a man claim to love the Lord and not love his brother, he is a liar and not love the Lord.

That we must to remember brother.
