I should also listen when he says that my mom should be stoned to death? (she wasn't a virgin when she got married.), or that my Grandmother will never make it into heaven? (she's an illigetimate child.)
First of all, those are old laws. Jesus' death has freed us from many of the old laws.

Now... in regard to Deuteronomy 23:2, I don't think that "assembly of the Lord" is referring to Heaven. Would God really ever send a child to Hell only because he or she was born of a foreign marriage?

Some help from anybody in trying to understand this passage would be great. :)

well either way, it describes it as a reason for prejudice.

I beleive it is in God's hands to deliver the death penalty. i know of homosexuals who have received Christ and been delivered from homosexuality.

Galations 4 & 5:1-6 and Romans 8:15-16 says we have been adopted as sons and daughters of God. If we are old enough to make a decision for Christ and then don't we will perish. but you must be old enough to understand the consequences of your decision also read Ephesians 1 where it says He adopted us before the foundation of the earth was made.

They are excluded from something, and are therefore inferior/undeserving
God never makes mistakes; He is perfect. So, there was nothing wrong with what He chose to do.

what does this have to do with some people being inferior to others?
Sorry. I thought that you were implying something that you were not.

Anyway, people - now - should not be considered to be inferior; we are all equal.

While I do not agree with gay acts, I do not consider gays to be inferior. I love everyone, including gays. I just wish that they would fix their lifestyle.

Sorry. I thought that you were saying something else.

Anyway, no one is inferior; we are all equal.

Fair enough.

well homosexuality is a sin and as far as lying with a man as he does a woman you are teeetering on the brink of phariseeism which is the letter of the law not the spirit of the law. there's no "breakin' it down" we are supposed to follow the intent od the law not the letter of the law which it appears you are trying to disuade us to do. be careful sir lest you teach others to sin and thereby reap their sin on your record

oh and one more thing; if someone does not believe in capital punishment then that someone would be in opposition to our Craetor because He created it and will enforce it at the great white throne judgement, and unrepentant gays and lesbians will in all likelyhood be killed permanently by order od the word

If my boyfriend and I were married and we had another chick join us to have sex, then would that be a sin on my part since it'd be kinda gay?

Or would it be a sin for both of us cause we're not married to the chick we had join us?

Or maybe even both?

Maybe there's even more sins that I'm missing?

In regard to that hypothetical situation, I'm fairly certain that all three of you would be sinning.
