Although I agree the act of homosexuality is a sin. Doesnt scripture say that the wages of all sin is death. That the only way that this death is overcome is through Jesus Our Lord ans savior?
So why pick on one type of sin?

As has been said numerous times before, nobody is born as a homosexual. The inevitable consequence of the idea of people being born gay is to say that, God brings people into the world without a choice to commit what He considers an abomination in their life. This of course is impossible, because it would violate His nature and character to create something that is bound to do evil by the will of God.
But all of this does not mean that I do not believe the many people who say that they have had homosexual feelings most/all of their life. Every person I have met who is living this lifestyle has told me that they struggled with homosexual attraction and thoughts until they finally embraced it as who they are.
In order to understand why this happens, you have to understand the very real spiritual battle going on in people's lives. The devil is able to plant thoughts and use thoughts to trigger emotions in people that are very real that feel like their own thoughts and emotions. There is no way to distinguish your thoughts from planted thoughts without the Holy Spirit. Before someone embraces a homosexual lifestyle they are feeling real attraction and feelings toward the same sex.
These feelings and attraction start off as a planted thought or emotion by the enemy. Most of the time a person will not immediately agree that they are a homosexual because of a one time occurrence, but because of the enemy's persistence in bringing the thoughts and emotions back, it is easy for the person to start thinking that it is who they are. Once the person agrees with the thought that they are a homosexual, their agreement with the enemy it gives the enemy authority to make the attraction reoccur on its own in their life.
People who embrace the homosexual lifestyle aren't born homosexuals, and don't choose to be homosexual, they are deceived in thinking that they are homosexual by the enemy, then accept this lie as who they are.

Testimony out of homosexuality of a friend of mine:
I have a friend who embraced the homosexual lifestyle but found God and realized that she wasn't really a homosexual. She told me her story and how, the very real feelings would haunt her, until she gave into them and embraced them as who she was. In the many years of her difficult journey discovering who she really was, she found herself swearing at God. Deep down she felt rejected by God which caused her to not want to have anything to do with Him. But God persisted to pursue her, and she finally realized God was real, and she asked God in her prayers "Is living a homosexual lifestyle wrong?" For the first time in her life she heard the audible voice of God say "Yes"
This haunted her for months because she still struggled with her homosexual attraction to her mate. Through her further prayer and interaction with God she discovered that the enemy had planted that feeling in her multiple times to convince her that she was gay. Once she renounced this agreement with this lie the homosexual attraction left her, she broke up with her girlfriend and moved back home to restore her relationship with her mom and dedicate her life to Jesus.

There is plenty of truth in this. I remember when my university union was recruiting for Sexuality Officers. A sexuality officer is someone a young kid talks to when they are confused about their sexuality. There were two positions, one male and one female; and YES, heterosexuals were not welcome to apply.

well technically, there is proof for both sides of the coin, proof for it being psychological and also proof for it being biological. But as a christian who is gay i really dont appreciate it when ppl put us in petri dishes to experiment with and try to understand. the way i look at it is this, God has the power to heal me of this psychological biological or otherwise. And i believe He will because ive asked him too. But there is no where in the bible that goes against being gay itself, only gay sex. on top of that, being gay is not something you can just switch off (unless God allows it to happen that way).

Generally a person chooses to be gay later in life and has a tendency towards that because they were born gay, though it may take a few years to realise it. And yes being born gay is a result of corrupt sinful human nature i.e. the seed of adam so I don't know why christians don't admit to it unless they don't believe in original sin?

From a genetic point of view the concept of a gay gene is absurd. If it did exist it would have no scope to be passed on.
I do not care how many times someone couples the terms gay and christian. The bible says people who practice those things have FIRST OF ALL rejected the revelation of God for their own concept of him.

Wow! It seems God's people have done an excellent job picking up all the stones and casting them into the crowd once again!! Jesus never once condemned a sinner while walking this earth and we are supposed to model ourselves in His image. I am saddened this Sin is sin and if you are going to use Scripture to send people to judgement that is your right.
However remember this. when you point out someones wrong who are you being more like? Jesus or the Pharisees?
This is not an attack but if any sin is what sins us to hell,,,,,,,and it is,, he who is guilty of one is guilty of them all then we are all cooked and that is why Jesus came to give us victory from the law and our inability to fill it.
Jesus was full of love and only used scripture to bring truth against "who" RULE ABIDERS!
We are to obey not by the fear of a hammer on our head but out of love for our Father and we are to love our neighbor,, and that does mean the gay ones too! No being gay is not right,,,neither is being an adulterer, fornicator, drunkard, cheater, liar, dealmaker, etc.......
Remove the log in your eye before removing the splinter in your neighbor's eye. This is not saying remove all your own sin before removing the splinter,,,,,,,,NO,,,,,,it means dont be a freakin hypocrit because we cannot remove the log from our eye. The log speaks to our internal fallen nature that we should never count ourselves worthy enough to judge someone else.
and for the record,,,,,,if you are going to quote OT penalties, scripture, then please also note that you must kill animals to overcome these same abominations.
The OLD LAW was nailed to the cross brothers and sisters with Jesus! He fullfilled the requirements of the law and all of its restrictions.
You will never convert a non-believer by throwing the Bible at them! You will convert many like Jesus did by throwing your arms around them and loving them. Jesus taught ,,he never preached and when He did.......SOTM (Sermon on the Mount)---you tell me what His legacy message was? Was it one of war or peace.........Was it one of rules or was it one of mercy and grace!

I LOVE YOU ALL, but I beg you to stop living under the bondage of rules that man put back in place after Jesus Himself tore them down. He does not want us to sin but, it is out of love we should not want to sin. As for other peoples sin,, if you are sin free then cast the first stone.
Dont mix apples and oranges and say this or verily say that,,,,,,,,stick to what Jesus Himself instructed us to do.. Paul says we ought to try but, Paul also says the things I wish to do most I do the least and the things I wish to do least I do the most! His reliance all the days of his life were dependant on Jesus.
We have to get this right.......We are telling the world Christianity is but another law they must follow,,, and get this ,,,,,,the very law we preach we cannot live up to... that is why the WORLD MOCKS US AT EVERY CORNER!!!!!! THAT IS WHY WE LOOK LIKE THE WORLD..

Lets say for a minute that you are born gay! Lets say the alcoholic is born with less tolerance to drink in moderation. Lets say that some genetics make a person more likely to steal..
I believe that anything is possible, I also believe that what separates us from dogs is the ability to follow instruction as best we can.. The New Testament gives us guidelines on how to live perfectly, we fall short everyone of us but, we without regard to sexual orientation or otherwise should try to live a clean life.
We should try! If you are homosexual, you do not need a person, whether it be a white supremicist or a "Christian", "Evangelical", whatever telling you it's wrong. If you indeed seek to embrace Jesus His living water will lead you in the way you need to go! The Holy Spirit convicts us in strange ways and they all lead to a longing to be obedient to His ways.
We will not master this on earth as our flesh wars within and against us every second. We are to try and study enough, pray enough, to walk in the spirit crucifying our flesh daily. This is a discipline but, one that is followed out of love. God wants our faithfulness a whole lot more than our obedience.
