You are trying to work for your salvation, whereas I'm accepting the finished work of Jesus, and believe the Bible, which says we are saved by faith, NOT BY WORKS.

There is a difference between doing works to get saved, and doing works as a saved person.
The work Paul was writing about was the work of the Jews believing they could keep God’s Laws by their own will power. A Christian does God’s Will through the grace given to him or her by the Holy Spirit. It is God’s Work done in and through a Christian, which allows him or he to keep God’s Word. If one does not keep God’s Word he or she will be judged by that Word.

(John 12:47-48) “If anyone hears my words and does not keep them faithfully, it is not I who shall condemn him, since I have come not to condemn the world, but to save the world: he who rejects me and refuses my words has his judge already: the word itself that I have spoken will be his judge on the last day.” Jerusalem Bible

Only if the believer allows God to do a work in them, But we are living in a day when Christians live for themselves and do what they want to, That's why the devil knew it was the right time to get the false grace teaching going around the Churches.
Now they have been taught that they have a licence to live how they want, and grace covers their wrong living.

No one who understands grace believes it is a license to sin, in fact, it is freedom from sin. We are dead to sin. It has been the teaching of religious institutions that we must somehow improve upon the finished work of Jesus and that we can only do this by constant confession or tithing or self flagellation or some other lie from satan. This is so these institutions can keep control. Sadly it has become so embedded in people's psyche that when they are shown the truth they react with anger or malice, this alone should be enough to convince anyone who claims to know Jesus that the teachings they so angrily feel the need to defend are false. Unfortunately satan's other weapon ego then comes into play and instead of being open to that truth many harden their hearts against it. Only by setting aside what we "think" and "feel" and trusting God's Word can we ever come to know our true identity in Christ. Only then can we be free indeed.

No one who knows the Biblical Grace, thinks it's a licence to sin, But the false grace teachers believe it gives then the licence to sin.
I have seen and heard them teach it.

A leading hyper grace teacher said,
"When I sin, I am blessed, because God doesn't count my sins against me, I have been forgiven of all past, present and future sins."
He gives 1000s of his followers the licence to sin.

Hyper grace teachers are like the Catholics, There doctrines say one thing, But when they are challenged, they say,
"We're not saying that".

I am sorry you are blinded to the truth. You claim a "leading hyper-grace" teacher said this but again give no evidence. I will continue to follow the leading grace teacher of all time, His name is Jesus Christ, I honestly pray one day you too will come to not only know Him but trust Him.

Actually Catholics do not think like what Johnlove says.

Jesus said if you keep His Words you are not condemned.

Romans 3:23
[SUP]23 [/SUP]for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Romans 5:12
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—

ALL have sinned. EVERYBODY is a sinner, even Mary. Only Jesus was without sin.

Hebrews 4:15
[SUP]15 [/SUP]For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

By the very fact Catholics believe and teach Mary was without sin means they HAVE been Judged by God and have been Condemned by God already.

Because of their teaching of Mary being without sin they cannot enter into Heaven.

May God have Mercy on your Soul DeaconMike.

You have got me mixed up with the hyper grace teachers, it's them who are blinded.
They don't know the truth.

Jesus is a grace Teacher, not a hyper grace teacher.

You obviously are a false grace teacher.
The hyper grace teachings are the same as the Nicolaitions, which Jesus hates.
They are the end time deceivers.

No, he was writing about those who were under the Law. And he stated quite clearly that they had rather to believe God to be saved, not do works by the back door. They had to cease being under the law, and have faith in Jesus Christ. A man is declared righteous by faith without the deeds of the Law in any shape or form.

To one who does not work but BELIEVES on Him Who counts as righteous the UNGODLY, His faith is counted as righteousness. (Rom 4.5)

A Christian does God’s Will through the grace given to him or her by the Holy Spirit. It is God’s Work done in and through a Christian, which allows him or her to keep God’s Word.
Agreed. but it is as a result of first being fully justified WITHOUT WORKS. He has to be born from above first. THEN the Holy Spirit will work God's work through him, because he has been saved;

If one does not keep God’s Word he or she will be judged by that Word.
True, but if he has been declared righteous by God that will follow. But he will not be condemned by that word. There is NO CONEMNATION to those who are in Christ Jesus,

Jesus is here talking about the unsaved. They have rejected Him and refused His words,

Where sin abounded grace super-abounded. (Rom 5. 20). Sounds like hypergrace to me.

Dear Mecc99
The Catholic fsith believes in all of Sacred Scripture. Not just the parts that fit our theology. How you interpret it in light of apostolic teaching makes all the difference. Catholics can go back to the 900's 500's 300"s 200's and apostolic period and find the same doctrines we believe today. Something Protestants can't do.
A good education in patristics sheds a lot of light on Church history and doctrine. Many Protesarnts unfortunately think Church history began in 1565
The Catholic Church all 21 various Liturgical Rites begins with the Apostles and continues through apostolic succession. Very easy to prove. Just open up the Church fathers. You will find a throughly Catholic Church.

Dear Mecc99
The Catholic faith believes in all of Sacred Scripture.
As long as it agrees with them.

Not just the parts that fit our theology. How you interpret it in light of apostolic teaching makes all the difference.
Most of Roman Catholic teaching cannot be interpreted by apostolic teaching. It is far too late.

Catholics can go back to the 900's 500's 300"s 200's and apostolic period and find the same doctrines we believe today.
That is simply untrue,

something Protestants can't do.
That is where you are wrong, They went BACK to the apostolic teaching

A good education in patristics sheds a lot of light on Church history and doctrine.
It sheds light on how it became added to, changed and manipulated.

Many Protesarnts unfortunately think Church history began in 1565
LOL

The Catholic Church all 21 various Liturgical Rites begins with the Apostles
Show me ONE in the apostles teaching.

and continues through apostolic succession.

when it tried to claim what was not true.

Very easy to prove. Just open up the Church fathers. You will find a throughly Catholic Church.
nonsense. you have clearly not read what Clement of Alexandria REALLY taught. And you will find NOTHING about the assumption of Mary. To take just two examples.

your teaching is based on Roman Catholic sources which are unreliable

(Galatians 1:7-8) “Not that there can be more than one Good News; it is merely that some troublemakers among you want to change the Good News of Christ; and let me warn you that if anyone preaches a version of the Good News different from the one you have already heard, he is to be condemned.”

(Galatians 1:6-8) “I am astonished that you are so promptly turning away from the one who called you in the grace of Christ and are going over to a different gospel not that it is another gospel; except that there are trouble-makers among you who are seeking to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we ourselves or an angel from heaven preaches to you a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let God's curse be on him. I repeat again what we declared before: anyone who preaches to you a gospel other than the one you were first given is to be under God's curse.”

(1 John 3:9-10) “No one who is a child of God sins because God's seed remains in him. Nor can he sin, because he is a child of God. This is what distinguishes the children of God from the children of the devil: whoever does not live uprightly and does not love his brother is not from God” New Jerusalem bible

(1 John 3:9-10) “No one who has been begotten by God sins; because God’s seed remains inside him, he cannot sin when he has been begotten by God. In this way we distinguish the children of God from the children of the devil: anybody not living a holy life and not loving his brother is no child of God’s”

(Luke 12:33) “Sell your possessions and give alms. Get yourselves purses that do not wear out, treasure that will not fail you, in Heaven where no thief can reach it and no moth destroy it. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

(Matthew 6:19) “Do not store up treasures for yourselves on earth, where moths and woodworms destroy them and thieves can break in and steal.”

(Luke 14:33) “So in the same way, none of you can be my disciple unless he gives up all his possessions.”

(Matthew 5:39) “You have learnt how it was said: ‘Eye for eye and tooth for tooth.’ But I say this to you: offer the wicked man no resistance.”

(Matthew 5:48) “Even the pagans do as much, do they not? You must therefore be perfect just as your heavenly Father is perfect.”

(1 John 3:5-6) “Now you know that he appeared in order to abolish sin, and that in him there is no sin; anyone who lives in God does not sin, and anyone who sins has never seen him or known him.”

(1 Corinthians 5:11) “What I wrote was that you should not associate with a brother Christian who is leading an immoral life, or is a usurer, or idolatrous, or a slanderer, or a drunkard or is dishonest; you should not even eat a meal with people like that.”

(Matthew 5:48) “Even the pagans do as much, do they not? You must therefore be perfect just as your heavenly Father is perfect.”

(Matthew 23:8-9) “You, however must not allow yourselves to be called Rabbi, since you have only one Master, and you are all brothers. You must call no one on earth your father, since you have only one Father, and he is in heaven.”

Grace IS hyper-grace.

Grace does abound to repented sin.
Hyper grace isn't Biblical grace, hyper grace is a false grace teaching , just like the Nicolaitans .

Actually if you go back to the 900's ,500's ,300"s ,200's and apostolic period, you will NOT find a Doctrine in the Catholic Church that says Mary was without sin. It was in 1854 when the Catholic Church said Mary was without sin.

You see nothing wrong with lying, trying to deceive us with your lies.

Matthew 16:23
[SUP]23 [/SUP]But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”

Get behind me Satan!

It took the Catholic church 500 years to build their doctrine on purgatory.
The Catholic church never used to confess their sins to a priest, At first they confessed their sin to God, until the RCC decided to build the doctrine of confessing to a priest and doing penance.

The as you say, many years later, they decided that Mary never sinned, Then they decided, If Mary never sinned, then she must have been a virgin all her life.
Then they decided, If Mary was sinless, she must have ascended bodily to heaven.

You are right about the Catholics telling lies, as their leaders Must know the Greek, [Otherwise they have no right to be leaders], And the Greek prove their teaching wrong, So they know they are telling lies and deceiving their people.
For an example, Every Greek meaning for "Baptism", Is by total immersion, Yet they pour water on an infants head, as their baptism. They believe baptism saves, so they are deliberately sending people to hell, by not baptising them.
Plus, Infant baptism, is witchcraft, It's imposing the parents will on their children, And that's witchcraft.

Ephesians 2:8
[SUP]8 [/SUP]For by grace you have been saved through faith

Salvation is received by the Grace of God, not by Baptism.

The very fact that Catholics like DeaconMike believe and teach we are saved by Baptism does prove they have never accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Its the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit that teaches us the Truth in the Scriptures, not a Catholic Pope who Worships Mary as his God. And yes Pope John Paul II did worship Mary as his God. Because of this he will never enter into Heaven. May God have Mercy on his Soul.

The point is if even the Popes of the Catholic Church do not have the Truth, then what makes you think you have the Truth when you follow the teachings of the false Popes?

Jesus told us who it is that will come to heaven with him, and it is not those who just believe of him. One has to believe in Jesus, and to believe in Jesus one has to live as Jesus Christ our Lord and God lived. Jesus kept all of God’s Word, and he never sinned.

(1 John 2:5 -6) “Whoever says, 'I know him' without keeping his commandments, is a liar, and truth has no place in him. But anyone who does keep his word, in such a one God's love truly reaches its perfection. This is the proof that we are in God. Whoever claims to remain in him must act as he acted.”

(Matthew 7:21) “It is not those who say to me, ‘Lord, Lord’, who will enter the kingdom of Heaven but the person who does the will of My Father in Heaven. When the day comes many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, cast out demons in your name, work many miracles in your name?’ Then I shall tell them to their faces: I have never known you; away from me, you evil men!”

Commandments of God.

Exodus 20:2-17
[SUP]2 [/SUP]“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]“You shall have no other gods before Me.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]“You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; [SUP]5 [/SUP]you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, [SUP]6 [/SUP]but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. [SUP]9 [/SUP]Six days you shall labor and do all your work, [SUP]10 [/SUP]but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. [SUP]11 [/SUP]For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]“You shall not murder.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]“You shall not commit adultery.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]“You shall not steal.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

Matthew 22:34-40
[SUP]34 [/SUP]But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. [SUP]35 [/SUP]Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, [SUP]36 [/SUP]“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”
[SUP]37 [/SUP]Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ [SUP]38 [/SUP]This is the first and great commandment. [SUP]39 [/SUP]And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ [SUP]40 [/SUP]On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

These are the Commandments of God.

So what Commandments other then these are we to keep? NONE!

So why are you trying to put heavy burdens on True Believers?
