That's great that you are in Christ! The Bible has good news for you! You HAVE forgiveness! You ARE forgiven!

Acts 10:43

"All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name.”

2 Corinthians 5:19

"that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation."

Colossians 1:14

"in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins."

Colossians 2:13

"When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins"

Colossians 3:13

"Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."

Ephesians 1:7

"In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace"

Ephesians 4:32

"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

1 John 2:12

"I am writing to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of His name."

Hebrews 8:12

"For I will forgive their wickedness, and will remember their sins no more.”

Hebrews 10:17

“...Their sins and lawless acts, I will remember no more.”

The Greek tense for, "Forgiven", means, "Our past repented sins have been forgiven and remitted, And our present & future sins will be forgiven upon repentance, See 1 Jn 1: 8--10--1 Jn 2: 1--2.
As we repent of our sins, Jesus pleads our case before God, for our forgiveness, cleansing and reconciliation back to God.

I know the false grace teacher will have a spiritual heart attack about those scriptures, But we have to believe the Bible and the Greek Bible texts.

So now you admit that Repentance means a change of actions, as well as a change of mind.
Repentance is a change of mind in the Greek. Here is what I wrote again for you to see again. There are fruits of repentance but it is not repentance itself. What changes us is the life of Christ after we have repented and come to Christ for life.

Quote:

There will always be "fruits" of having a changed mind ( having repented ) to God but the "fruit" is not the repentance within itself. True repentance is the "root" before the "fruit" comes.

The fruit will manifest itself in the form of having a changed heart because we are a new creation in Christ. This will also show in behavior as the life of Christ transforms our outward life to reflect what has already happened in our inner man - that new creation in Christ.

If you don't understand it...just forget about it and let it go. I won't call you a false teacher for not seeing the difference. Have a great rest of the week!

Have no clue why you would slap a label spiritual police after my quote.

This world is temporary. Whatever blessings God gives us is to be used for His glory.otherwise it's all in vain.

Two rich men buried Jesus, so God does not look at material wealth or proverty as spiritually better than another.

Paul says he has learnt to be satisfied at whatever state he is in. He trusted God to provide for his day to day needs.

It is a false gospel to promise material riches and earthly prosperity, because God's promises are for eternal treasure in heaven. Whatever is entrusted to our care here on earth is meant to be used for His glory, not our lusts.

ALL the promises of God are YES & AMEN, and that includes financial prosperity.
I spent four lesson's, That's four hours teaching on Biblical prosperity, And I could have given many more scriptures about it.
God doesn't get any glory when His people are poor, He does get glory when His people have much money,
See 2 Cor 9: 8--14.
God delights in our prosperity.
It's only today's so called Christians who are against God's prosperity.

I wonder if God delights in our malice and slander to other people in the body of Christ? I wonder if He delights when people insult and call others names because they disagree with them over a scripture?

Maybe it's time to grow up. People who slander and have malice towards others in the body of Christ are in fact babies. No matter how much scripture they know - no matter how long they have been a Christian no matter how much prosperity they have.

1 Peter 2:1-3 (NASB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]
Therefore, putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander,

[SUP]2 [/SUP] like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation,

[SUP]3 [/SUP] if you have tasted the kindness of the Lord.

What changes us, Is our stopping doing the wrong thing,
and the moment we chose to do that, and act upon it, [As I have shown you from the 2 Cor 7], we are met with God's power to change.
Our actions are the fruits on our meditations, But they are still our actions that we need to deal with, just as much as our meditations. One can meditate on stopping the act of adultery, But they still have to put actions to their thoughts, By resisting the temptation.

It always amazes me how easily the overwhelming testimony of scripture will be ignored just to stay unforgiven. Oh well, whatcha gonna do, eh?

The reasons why some Christians are poor, is.
(1) wrong teaching, they have never been taught about Biblical prosperity.
(2) Lack of faith, which could be because they have never been taught about it, as faith comes by hearing God's word, Or they have been told lies about prosperity, ( As many Christians do), Or they don't believe the Bible.

Everyone who knows what the Bible says about prosperity, and believes it, have prospered.

Since we're posting whatevers about Joel Olsteen, thought I'd revive one. Because, you know, this is easier than copy-pasting from someone who was banned.

(Stillie was never banned.)
