Evil..never He is Just to do whatever He wants.
who are we O clay to say to the potter "why have you made me this way" has not the potter command over the clay? has not the potter power to make one vessel for honorable use and the other for dishonorable use.

Be careful if you think that God is just all loving and focus on that. that becomes an idol. His love His Grace His Justice His Wrath all Come From His Holiness.

Friend you are making it seem as though God won't change Bob. If Bob truly is an elect God will call him before the man dies or in his last breath.
I guess you didn't get the point.
There is no point in evangelizing to Bob if God already predestined Him.

There is no point in evangelizing to those who are predestined, it's that simple.

i'm guessing you missed the first part of the verse. it is talking about showing a christian to bring him back to the truth and away from false teachings
Hahaha, that is your explanation of the Scripture?.. Okay let me break it down for you.

James 5
19 Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back,
20 let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.

If anyone turns away from Jesus, he becomes known as a sinner, and someone who turns him back to Jesus has just SAVED HIS soul..

But that was a nice attempt to completely dodge my point. Kudos.

The god of Calvinism is evil. What would you say about someone or something that forces himself on whoever he chooses. What would you say about someone who claim to not respect one person from another, yet saves some and ****s others for no other reason than that is what pleases him. What would you say about a being that creates certain individuals just to torture them in a lake of fire.

Be careful if you think that God is just all loving and focus on that. that becomes an idol. His love His Grace His Justice His Wrath all Come From His Holiness.
I above most understand the justice, holiness, and judgment of God, but it is not just to pardon one and punish another without giving both a chance for redemption.

@definitionchrist wow really showing some fruit of the spirit there for mocking me.
but wrong. i was wrong about the part of false teachings. but it is not about turning from Christ. it is about straying from sinful patterns(reference to verse 19) 20 is for us to bring back a brother who is starting to show sinful patterns

He is Just. that is what I say about Him. He may do whatever he pleases. even if He would send me to hell He would be Just for that.

Ok..wait a minute falsly painting calvinism alert.
We do not belive we are robots. yes we have been predestined for hell or for heaven. we believe in a free will to an extent but it is prone to more sin than good. we love our sin and hate God. so we are either slaves to our sins or slaves to righteousness(i am trying to remember a scripture it sounds familiar but it'll come to me later) A perfect example is Jacob and Esau. God loved Jacob yet hated Esau.

oh and sorry for the random caps. 1.I type like that sometimes. 2. I was tired when writing that. but I do not see myself at the same level with God by typing random caps.
Don't ever tell me I hate God. God pulled me out of the gutters and saved me, so don't EVER say I hate him. He's my Lord, Savior, and best friend I love him to death.

I apologize if you took offence to that I guess it came off a little rough. I don't understand how you get that idea though about these verses..

James 5
19 Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back,
20 let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.

It's saying if someone wanders FROM the truth and than are TURNED BACK... But the whole thing is, while they are turned away, they are considered a "sinner" and when they come back, they become saved.. AGAIN... Kind of like the prodigal son parable...

Luke 15:24
for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry.

And you still haven't answered my question to the point of evangelizing to predestined people. Alls you said was "how do you know they are REALLY predestined to go to hell".. Which completely avoids the fact you believe people ARE predestined to hell and preaching the gospel has absolutely no effect on them.

Actually we all have hated God. I can prove it.
Have you Kept the 10 commandments from Birth?
those are God's laws if you have truly loved God all your life you would have kept them.
every thought you have ever had. If i could take all those thoughts and put them on a video camera and show that movie to everyone you knew. you would not show your face again because you have thought things so bad you would try so hard to hide them.
I am not excluding myself. We are all the same. but our thoughts were prone more to sin and thus spit on God's law.

Note:I am talking about before He saved us. People tend to think they loved God for all their life

If I break the law and drive without a license does that prove I hate the judge who sentences me to jail?

I think that analogy fails.

You hate justice though if you do. break the earthly law.
But our thoughts show that we do hate God while we were still dead in our sin

Well seeing how none of us can read minds or hearts we really cant tell who hates God. There may be people who *ignore* God and not obey anything He says, but you really can't go around saying "you hate God"

They do. romans 3.
Jeremiah 17:9
"our heart is wicked"
God hates sin. when we sin we are declaring war against God.

I honestly don't care what you have to say anymore, I find this very offensive. You are turning me further and further away from even considerinf Calvinism it is people like you that turn people away from the church. You have no right to try and judge my heart, so don't try.

If God predestined us, as far as salvation goes, then why did Jesus say ''whosoever''(John 3:16). and why are we told to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling? (Philippians 2:12). When it says God predestined us, that's talking about how He knows everything about us, even to every single hair on our head. He predestined Christians to go to heaven, in other words, those who accept Him. John 3:17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. When it says ''the world'' it means all who are ever born and live in the world. Pretty clear on that.

truth divides.
Jeremiah 17:9

people like me? you mean people who proclaim the Gospel(not referring to calvinism at the moment) not lukewarm stuff most churches are doing these days.

While I totally agree with what you said, here's the thing...Calvinism is a false doctrine, and it's dangerous, I wouldn't ever consider it.
