He did kill Adam and Eve, they would still be alive today along with everyone else if we hadn't sinned. Instead we get old and die. My mom beat me when I was a child for complaining about what was fair.

I mean he should have struck them dead as soon as they sinned, like He's done with countless others back then.

their sin is what finished them off

God does not go around with a bat playing whack a mole

Christians usually do that with their big Bibles

I reckon God just wanted to be loved like we want to be loved. Our relationship with him is like a broken marriage. If we can't learn to reconcile with our spouse, how we going to reconcile with God.

Well, considering he flooded the earth, essentially starting it over again in hopes to make it sinfree this time. FAIL. :/

He flooded the earth to rid it of evil, and evil remained AFTER the flood, sooooooo..

Thats because people are evil. I'm the biggest sinner of them all.

Because God ALWAYS forgives us. Because he knows we are pathetic, weak and sinful humans. People don't always forgive us.. Spouses don't always forgive. Sometimes they can't.

if you are a Christian, you are not the biggest sinner of them all

calling yourself a sinner is not biblical

for all have sinned, however Paul addresses believers as saints

did you know that people will basically act out what they think about themselves?

egads man.....change how you think...it's depressing

sin entered the world through one man the Bible says...that would involve everyone who is in the world

the NT says that the entire world...animals included...groan because of it and long to be freed from it

mankind has the burden...not the cute floofy animals ...

Like Lauren said, change your attitude. You have the "poor me" mentality going on.. NO ONE does anything right. We can only do our best.

It's not poor me as much as an acknowledgement of fact.

If everyone stayed single, marriage and divorce and adultery couldn't happen. lol.. My advice: stay single, ladies!!
But fornication and other sins would be rampant and kids wouldn't have stable homes because people will be chasing after their lists instead of learning to live with another person, compromise and love someone else even when you don't like them.

Marriage is meant to teach us how to be ONE. in purpose, love and life with another. It's a holy insitution that should reflect the relationship that God has with His Church. It's not always about happiness and liking the other person...it's about joy and love which are deeper emotions because even if you fight and disagree, if you have love and grace, you will forgive and grow because you have a joint goal: using your lives to glorify God and show His love to strangers outside your circle of family and friends. Raising our kids to love God and listen to His Holy Spirit, be mature and responsible hard working members of society.

At least that is what my marriage is based on.

Trust in the blood of Christ and His mercy and grace...for it's not what we did or will do, but what He out of love already did.

Through our relationship with our perfect Lord and savior we learn to treat our spouses with love and grace...to forgive even when we don't think they deserve it. To love despite the tears....to stand for justice if abuse is happening...to love as God loves us because He first loved us.

So you have it backwards...we learn to reconcile with our spouse when we realize HOW much God loves us and reconcile with Him....the closer we walk with God, the easier it is to love everyone else.

ok...I'm being serious now

look at your words....don't feed yourself those words...don't play that dialogue in your head

open the New Testament and read what God has to say about you...change how you think

I'm serious...I certainly had to do that and it works!!!

you are a new creation in Jesus Christ...

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
II Corinthians 5:17

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
6in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3

10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41

27Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14

33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16

When we repeat negative things about ourselves, we have strongholds in our minds that need to be taken down. God has not given us this negative image...the enemy of our souls has whispered to us and we have listened...or maybe people who should have known better have hurt us and said negative things and rejected us.

Align your thoughts with the word of God...you can just as easily repeat POSITIVE as negative things..

It's a good thing Jesus came to save sinners.

We are saved by grace of God, Faith in Christ finished work on the cross...not our own works.

We don't make ourselves worthy, God washes us clean by the Blood of the lamb, clothe us with His righteousness and seals us with the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us.

Our salvation is by God's grace.

None of us deserves it but He loves us anyway.
