Well it wasn't just that, he did not mention Jesus's name not once at congress.
A man that is supposed to be a representative of Christ surely should preach the word of God.

Amen to that.....and thanks for showing me what was said...mucho grasias...

We can hope. Although thats one heck of a misunderstanding there. Its major.

But?

If you take everything that guy has spit out over the last few months?
Give him the benefit of the doubt?

Yeah, he probably said it.
He said it for sure and even I could pick out some of the Latin words he used......I have a hard time believing that it was translational errors......

I don't believe it was either, I was just putting the possibility out there and trying to hold on to a sliver of hope that I knew wasn't there. Tryna keep hope alive! Lol

Silly me...

Now really. Would it surprise any of us if that truly is the case?

FWIW

The Shocking Message Pope Francis Preached At New York's St. Patrick's Cathedral ⋆ Now The End Begins : Now The End Begins

Little ambiguous...

“The cross shows us a different way of measuring success. Ours is to plant the seeds. God sees to the fruits of our labors. And if at times our efforts and works seem to fail and not produce fruit, we need to remember that we are followers of Jesus Christ and his life, humanly speaking, ended in failure, the failure of the cross.”

Ambiguous my butt...Christ is the only one not to sin..his life was not a failure nor was the work of the cross......ir plays nicely into the heretical church salvation that the Catholic church\Pope teaches! HUMANLY SPEAKING he is the only one to succeed!

In any case, there should be a transcript or recording from St. Patrick's to double check.
I'm not sure where the above poster at NTEB got his info.

In addition to the standard toppings, Animal Style burgers include pickles, extra spread, grilled onions and mustard fried onto each meat patty. And regarding the John 3:16 on the bottom of the cups, they also have Rev.3:20 and also Proverbs 3:5 and a few others. Yeah, it is pretty cool!
I just remembered what the lettuce wrapped burger is called! Hahahaha
Its the protein wrap.
I must do more brain exercises :)

He said that from the perspective of man, Christ failed by going to the Cross. Which is exactly what the Bible tells us, that man thought they had destroyed Him. Even His own disciples fled and believed it to be over. However, that is man's perspective, for we know that truly Christ conquered the grave and conquered sin. So this mindset that the Pope has said something radical is entirely created in your own heads.

If this man or any man told me they had faith in Christ, I could accept them on that desire for truth. If a man claims to represent Christ when he clearly does not, I cannot accept or find any truth as that man would use parts of the truth to deceive others.

In claiming that the pope is the “Vicar of Christ,” the Catholic Church rejects the sufficiency and supremacy of Christ’s priesthood, and grants to the pope roles that Christ Himself declared would belong to the Holy Spirit. It is therefore blasphemy to ascribe to the pope the title of “Vicar of Christ.”

Your bias blinds you to the truth...he also said it was dangerous to have a relationship with Christ.....quit worshipping a mere sinful man and place your faith into Jesus instead of Roman Catholic dogma and idols!

Totally agree with this...nothing but an idol worshipping pseudo religion that has nothing at all to do with Jesus nor the kingdom of God!

He said it was dangerous to have a relationship with Christ outside of fellowship.

You are the one with a greater bias here. You are dropping off words to make quotes fit your dark intentions. You also denied human frailty and ignorance in order to condemn the Pope.

Question: What is it these women are experiencing, 'cause I'll guarantee you, it ain't the Holy Spirit.

And another: Does Jorge actually believe that touch has any power?

It's all disgusting, I tell you.
It is. You're right. And it's trash. It's corrupt. It's sin.

Maybe there was a translation mistake? I mean, sometimes words don't have quite the same meaning or connotation when you translate them...

Or maybe it's just me not wanting to believe there was such blatant and bold blasphemy. After all, translators are trained and should be well-versed in both languages, especially when you're translating for an occasion such as this...
As for me, I wouldn't give Jorge B. the benefit of the doubt. Not one bit. I'm biting my tongue. Very sore. So much to say about that idiot.

The fool has said in his heart there is no God. Psalms

And I say: The fool has said in his heart he is God.

Catholics are in danger, big danger. Putting a mere man above God Almighty. Idiots. They have bibles. They have ability to read. They can study and learn. They don't. Their choice. Oh, and when you ask to study with them, "I have my religion. I love the Lord. You have yours. I'm fine. Thank you!"

Blah!

His quote reeks of ignorance and your swallowing it hook, line and sinker...Jesus came to save the world, not to condemn it....it is never dangerous to have a relationship with Christ and to be frank....he comment is stupid...Jesus has NO RELATIONSHIP with ANYONE unless they have come by FAITH......those who trust into religion, works, etc. he clearly states...I NEVER KNEW YOU...so...either one has a relationship with Christ by FAITH/FELLOWSHIP or they are LOST and JESUS does not know them, much less have a relationship with them...you guys should start studying the bible instead of relying on dogma and spewed religious statements that lack knowledge and understanding...and my point stands...your bias in part due to religious blindness...Just like the Pharisees!
