Actually, it does sound good even though I just had a double cheese burger, animal style, at In-N-Out

Whats animal style? Ive heard people order it that way but never asked what it was. I usually have lettuce wrapped. Theres prob a name for that too huh?

I wish in and out would serve sweet potato fries.
On a side note: I guess you are aware of John 3:16 on bottom of cups? I think that is so cool.

Well, I think the Bible can say it better than I can, so here it is:
John 15:18-19 (KJV) [SUP]18 [/SUP]If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. [SUP]19 [/SUP]If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Luke 6:22 (KJV) Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

In addition to the standard toppings, Animal Style burgers include pickles, extra spread, grilled onions and mustard fried onto each meat patty. And regarding the John 3:16 on the bottom of the cups, they also have Rev.3:20 and also Proverbs 3:5 and a few others. Yeah, it is pretty cool!

Will anyone please pray for me? Am heading into center city on saturday. (philly) Was there today, but for a dff reason, to visit my brother in hospital after being rushed to emergency. He's stable, and should be ok after some long term therapy following a stroke. I saw the prep for popes arrival, already getting crazy, and starting 10 pm tonite (thurs) things will be shutting down thruout mid city at least. Gonna have to take subway in, and security is already so tight... dont know what I'll be able to bring, including lunch!! Now, I'd like nothing more than to find some 'mary-onettes' as I say, or some higher ups in the rcc to do scriptural battle with, but I need to go, say and do as the Lord would lead me, and remember that there are millions coming to my city who are blinded by religion and false teaching in my Saviour's name, and if there is even one, just one person that God sets free, and it's His will to use me Iin that process, then that person and I are gonna need all the prayer we can get, as I'm sure you know the spiritual battles will be raging. I pray to be in full armor, and since I dont have alot of exp. in 'witnessing', I covet the prayers and any advice I can get from my brothers and sisters in Christ here on cchat. So please PM me or post ANY HELPFUL IDEAS you may have. Of course, if was to get close enough, I'd ask pope 1 Q. ... Did the Lord Jesus Christ die for all my sins once for all forever (and prove it by rising from the grave) or didn't He? I'm not sure how he'd answer, but I figure I may be near a rcc practitioner who could only answer 'I don't know'. If that happens, I only hope I have the right thing to say and the right way to say it. I am praying that God softens, even breaks my heart to care for the 'religious but lost', but if it's more His will to engage someone who teaches false doctrine, I pray for boldness of speech, to give a clear defense of the faith, for Jesus' sake and glory. Thanks for your help here. One last request, pls pray for philly police and the security detail, they are just ppl like us, and they have a tough enough time as it is without all the added nonsense coming this weekend. Pray for protection for those who protect. I hope I can give some firsthand accounts of what takes place come monday, if anyone's interested. Meanwhile, keep sharpening each others iron, just remember we are brothers and sisters IN CHRIST! To God be the glory, great things He has done, He loves us so much that He gave us His Son!

Mustard and onions sounds like heartburn to me. lol Ill pass:)

You know, before I was even aware of the scripture on bottom of cups I sensed a lightness in the spirit (void of oppression) in in and outs! I do still hand out tracts when Im there. Maybe they dont throw them away!

I was watching a good ole SEC football channel to avoid all this pope nonsense and even those clowns had to drag some sports reporter on to talk about the pope... This is just insane and no doubt part of the endtime media agenda in some way...If this was a real Christian man of God the only thing these people would be doing is insulting him..evidence that he represents that god of this world, is the media of this world.
I've got the day off -- happy rare day!

So I'm watching cartoons with my grandson.

Nearing 10 am philly. Tension in the air, city getting shut down. Pope at U.N. Start counting how many times he mentions the Lord, OUR LORD Jesus Christ. Or those being persecuted, beaten, tortured or beheaded, simply for believing in Jesus.

On the flight from Cuba to the U.S. earlier this week, Jorge told CNN "I'm not a leftist."

Couldn't tell it by me. This U.N. speech is nauseating.

That was yesterday.
Today Jorge B. spoke to congress. I listened to 20 minutes of it.

Angering.

Standing before congress, he calls on America to welcome all immigrants.
He'll be heading back to Rome in a day or two, separated from the challenges, the costs, and the life threatening dangers that come along with 'welcome all immigrants.'

Politicians and the RCC are immune to the negative effects that their laws, policies, and demands create. The commoner pays.

But it's not what Jorge B. said that is most troubling. It's what was not said.
Right before him, sitting to capture every word of Jorge's, were some of the most arrogant, most self-serving, most greedy, most hateful politicians ever assembled at one time in this country. And little Jorge B. failed. He failed miserably. He forfeited the truth for favorability.

Abortion? Not mentioned. Call it what it is. Murder. Sin.

Homosexuality? Not mentioned. Call it what it is. Perversion. Fornication. Sin.

Immigration crisis. Not mentioned. Explain the cause. Corrupt governments. Those south of our border. And others such as Russia, Syria, Iran. And one of the biggest causes: Islam.

Marriage? Not mentioned. Though it is from God, by God, and of God for man and woman.

The bible. Not mentioned. Though it is inspired. Moral compass.

Did he quote scripture? He came close: "Let us remember the Golden Rule. Do unto others as you would have others do unto you." Words of Jesus. Why hide it? Weakness? Afraid to acknowledge Jesus as the standard, the rule to follow?

Well, Jorge B. was wrong."Do unto others..." is not the golden rule, at least not in DC. There the golden rule is: "He who has the gold rules."

Basically, the whole event amounts to nothing more than a corrupt religious leader displaying the results of what happens when a person tries to serve two masters. His two masters: Political power and Public favor.

To sum up the 20 or so minutes: The little bead came. The little bead saw. And the little bead dropped the standard. He forfeited a prime opportunity to present the truth.
YEAH...I agree and have been lighting him up as well....he had a perfect opportunity to preach Jesus..but you have to know Jesus before you can preach Jesus....!

Luke 6:22 (KJV) Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

YEAH..that actually applies to someone who knows the truth and makes a stand on the truth..not a false teacher of a lost, heretical religion!

While I watch the excessive coverage of Francis' visit on Fox and other stations (it's impossible to escape, until 7:00 p.m. when Mariners-Royals come on FoxSportsKC), a couple thoughts ...

It is safe to say that we all have heroes, someone who we think is great, fearless, lovable and inspiring. Heroes may be athletes, movie stars, political leaders, religious leaders or parents. Such a hero has come to the U.S., the popular Pope Francis. His visit is touted as an epic event that will be remembered for a lifetime.

Then again the unprecedented preparations and all the pomp and pageantry are a bit of overkill. Francis is just a man. Anyone who has been around even a short time knows men never can meet all our needs or keep their promises. Even the best of men have some serious shortcomings, faults and flaws.

God's admonition from Scripture is applicable here:

Jeremiah 17, NASB
5 Thus says the Lord: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man
And makes flesh his strength,
Whose heart departs from the Lord.

In the Bible's last chapter, Revelation 22, the Apostle John bowed to an angel. The angel quickly corrected John:

Revelation 22
9
But he said to me, "Do not do that. I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brethren the prophets and of those who heed the words of this book. Worship God."

Jorge Mario Bergoglio is asking Catholics to violate the very tenets of God's word by accepting this adoration and faux worship. He should be ashamed.
Wise. Wise indeed. This is helpful: "Anyone who has been around even a short time knows men never can meet all our needs or keep their promises. Even the best of men have some serious shortcomings, faults and flaws."

A much needed reminder. At least for me.
