i never said abortion is a worldly issue and not a spiritual one.
i said secular politics tempts believers to stop following the Spirit and start acting in worldly ways.
like cursing others without cause. like acting hypocritically. like lying about others through slanderous speech. like hating your brothers and sisters because of some secular partisanship. like making idols out of politicians and secular political parties.
like, for example, in the post i quoted, you twisted my words and lied about what i said - not because you lack understanding, but because right now you hate me in your heart, and not because i've wronged you, but because i spoke out against the secular man in the worldly political party that you like.
this stuff is poison for you. i don't want you to eat it. that's what my involvement in this particular thread is about for me -- because i care for you.

it's not derailed at all. Trump has exactly the same view on abortion as Sanders does, if not more liberal.
you need to get that through your head, so that if you want to keep maliciously slandering people you don't even know, you at least can keep yourself from hypocrisy while you do it.
gwan now and slander & curse them both, so you can be consistent instead of double-minded.
Well, I think we've successfully gone over the talking points and add a few. We've covered it all. Bernie is lost; people don't like him; Abortion is sinful, spiritual, worldly, and should be illegal; People like Bernie; people like Trump; don't like Trump; people can be downright hateful, spiteful, and rude; people aren't talking to one another; People are talking to one another; etc. etc.

this thread is about calling people who support permissive abortion laws, and people who support such political candidates,

that makes it about Trump and Trump supporters just as much as it is about Sanders and Sanders supporters or Clinton and Clinton supporters.

i have a son now who is 19, that doctors recommended aborting, because his mother's life was at stake, and he has a genetic disorder that results in low "quality of life"
want to guess what i did?

ok just to be clear, this thread is NOT about a principle or about actual news, but about maliciously slandering a particular individual in a hypocritical way with blatant mischaracterizations and lies about what he has actually said, cursing and accusing the man on the flimsiest excuses in a way that you refuse to apply to anyone else?

Sanders is pro-abortion. You brought abortion into the mix when you posted the OP. Sanders says he is "very pro-choice". Meaning that he's for abortion, if the circumstances warrant it, but he also supports the choice to NOT have an abortion. He don't know what side of the abortion fence he's on. You can't be pro-choice for both options. :/ Even the title of the article you posted suggests he's pro-abortion: "anytime, anywhere". So naturally an issue like this will have certain posters here arguing and defending one position over another. I'd say that this is very relevant to your OP.

i personally find the 'quality of life' reasoning for abortion to be one of the most horrible...
for one thing 'quality' of life should have no bearing whatsoever on the -value- of life...
and secondly i believe there are so many factors that affect your 'quality of life' much more than any genetic disorder might...for example the love of the people around you...

we were told he would need a heart transplant by the time he was 8 or 9, that the would be blind and lame and have severe mental deficiencies and physical handicaps, that he didn't have much chance of ever living past 13. also told there was very good chance his mother would die in childbirth.
he's had none of those things. sure, his glasses are as thick as a pancake, he's socially and emotionally about 10 years younger than his body, he can't run or jump and he has trouble with manual dexterity, and a host of other little problems..
but he's our son, and we love him, and the things he's interested in, he's brilliant at, and his mother's fine.
we attribute this all to God - he's a miraculous kid & we thank God for him every day that we're in our right minds
if my wife had decided she wanted to go ahead with an abortion, i would have supported her too, even though i disagreed; it would be her decision ultimately and i could not force her to carry him to term against her will. does that make me pro-abortion? a leftist baby murderer gleefully jumping at the chance to kill the innocent? pff.

I don't get offended of others beliefs/viewpoints, I let them have freedom to express it and don't attack others for a different viewpoint....Take your own advice.... Okay maybe you're not a troll but a lot of your posts are mass generalizations/labeling and I have read some that you direct to other younger users in other threads including this one....they always berate and belittle others for their beliefs saying they need to take meds.......I don't give a crap if you report me! You clearly enjoy talking down to others especially younger people with differing beliefs than yours..I hope you feel accomplished.......
