Doesn't erase the fact that he is a socialist. Who cares that he made a comment about veterans. Politicians make comments all the time and never follow through with them.

don't derail the thread. we are not talking about socialism here...we are talking about veterans in the way they should be taken care of in this country....the person making the statement doesn't make the statement any less true.....if Adolf Hitler said grass is green I would still believe him

How can you have a discussion about sanders and not discuss the fact that he is a admitted socialist? And anything he says should be seen as trying to promote a socialist agenda.

your deflection skills are duly noted but let's try to stay on topic here. the fact that Bernie Sanders is a socialist is not relevant to the topic at hand.. This country needs to take better care of its veterans... this is a true statement regardless of who said it. if Charles Manson said that Pizza Hut pizza is delicious then the fact that he is a deranged psychopath does not take away the deliciousness of the aforementioned pizza

He is only saying it because he wants support so he can become President. Why not change the name of the thread to "We need to take care of our troops". Why even include a socialist who has an agenda?

The communist pretended to care about the "workers" and the "farmers" to gain power ..then they killed millions of these people they claimed they cared about when they got power....anyone who thinks Bernie really cares about vets is just being deceived.

Liberals claim to care for blacks ...but where are blacks most abused and in the worst conditions? Where liberals have control ...

Obama has only made things worse for blacks ...more abortion clinics killing black babies..more illegal immigrants taking jobs that blacks need. More racial tension in America ..because liberals used these wedge issues to gain and keep power. The idea that sanders cares about vets is just silly.

You cant claim that sanders speaks for vets ..and not question his motives or the motives of liberals in general...Especially in context of the fact that he is running for president ... The guy don't care about vets and his ideas to help vets are not because he cares about vets...if he got in power it would be the very worse thing that ever happened our vets or our country.

Like was said before ..if you want to start a thread on how best to help vets? That would be great...but when you put Sanders in the mix ..you make it a political issue and of course his political motives must be addressed.
