Pete, all I can suggest is if you are in agreement to Brussels controlling
your pension, the welfare state, building an European army which is
completely under the control of the EU, abiding by EU legislation which
is brought in by EU officials who you do not know and have never voted for.
Not to mention agreeing to the EU giving away your money to any country it
sees fit.

Dictating to you where you can fish and which other countries you are allowed to trade
with, telling you that you must build more houses to accommodate all the migrants.
Putting your country into austerity measures so that they can take more money off you
to give to Greece. Force you to accept the euro which has less value than the pound, Stirling
and US dollar.

Force you to agree same sex marriage religious equality. Make all qualification have an EU
standard and official EU mark on them, then I suggest that you wait for Scotland to have
its referendum and move to Scotland.

On the latter point about qualifications, I work for the Dep of Transport. All UK
Transport managers have to have a certificate of professional competency, which means
studying for 3 months then sitting exams (it's at "A" level standard). They then get a
qualification and exam pass certificate which has EU legislation on it and which confirms
the holder of the qualification has passed the exam to EU standards.

There are also other commercial/business qualifications for different things which need the
EU stamp of approval.

If you look up the fourth pillar by going on the EU website, one of the things they want to
do is ensure all countries have an adequate education system and each person had access
to gain qualifications etc. Which seems good. But they are actually wanting to control all
education standards in each country and the quality of courses.

it does not take much imagination to see where this could go. Every exam system will be
controlled by the EU at every level. All qualifications will only be recognised if they have the
official EU approval on them. If you think this is far fetched it is already happening at industry
level.

Just think if you can't get a job in any EU country without an EU qualification, you also
can't trade unless you use euros. The amount of your pension and benefits and minimum
wage is controlled by the EU. You are told that every person of every religion and sexual
orientation is equal to you. Also you can't deport criminals back to their country no matter
his serious the crime, due to the human rights act.

It is just possible that the mark of the beast is "EU"

should move to Scotland it as just a turn of phrase. :)

Peter I will ask you once again; You called Farage a racist, I asked you to provide evidence of this, which you have not yet done. Maybe, like all other people I ask the same question of, you are unable to find anything to support this claim, you simply think he is racist because you are told that by all the main parties as a dirty tricks and smear campaign, or you are so left wing that you just hate anyone who does not share the same left wing communist ideology as you. So please, give me real reasons why Farage is a racist.

Everything needs to be put into proportion. The EU is another global power structure that takes generations to construct and work. Its power is in the consensus of the people.

I do not want either way particularly, I want a reasonable compromise.

What you might no be aware of but the German culture is very bureacratic. We are very reserved and analytical. The Italians are often not that bothered unless they are not well dressed. So the EU reflects all these ingredients.

And yes my kids etc. have talked about moving and so have a lot of the people I know. Unfortunately this is what politics often do to people, at an emotional level.

Nigel Farage's anti-migrant poster reported to police | Politics | The Guardian

The problem is our society relies on immigration. It is easy to use the words like, we want our country to stay predominately white etc. but I would argue in an international world with international travel, identity like this is a thing of the past.

The birth rate in the UK among british people is below 2 so the actual population is shrinking. So with this, and the influx of other nationalities, ideas, identity, the future is not what it used to be.

Do you understand UKIP has nothing left to fight for? Or maybe we should break the UK up into rural and cities communities?

Maybe a bit of ethnic cleansing, or sending the "foreigners" back home. But when they are born and educated in this country, this is their home.

Sorry Peter this poster is not evidence of racism. As pointed out to you many occasions, racism is thrown around at the slightest thing in order to smear and tarnish a person.

What you describe is something a racist would like, but where has Farage said this? Where has he said about sendingall non UK citizens home? You have fallen into the same trap again of thinking that if you shout racist enough the argument is won. Well sorry that is stupid.

UKIP and Farage has never called for sending all foreigners home, just the illegal immigrants and rightly so, how is this racism by the way? This issue is something the US are particularly aware of in their own country. UKIP has never said send all non-British people home. that is something you think is being said, but it is not, just you are being told that by the smear campaign in order to preserve the EU gravy train for the political establishment in this country .

You should fully well know this country has a proud tradition of welcoming people from all over the world, we had a stead intake of just over 30,000 people each year to do vital jobs in the UK. Tony Blair sucked up to the EU, and look at the nice job he has now with them, allowing open door policy which has resulted in 300,000 low skilled workers who contribute nothing at all to the country at all, and the real travesty in all this is that Cameron has stopped many skilled workers from outside the EU who have to apply for a work permit, in order to try to bring the figures down to say look we have immigration under control, but he had no idea that 300,000 people would have come.

Unless of course you think that sitting outside of a fancy bistro chatting to someone who has just come in from Romania counts as a good thing, which clearly it does in your mind, as it contributes to a European Cultural Experience and multi-national society which you obviously consider is more important than protecting our economy and preventing our children from being murdered by criminals who should still be in prison and would never have got into this country, if we maintained a sensible migration policy.

So please Peter, if you think Farage is a racist, then provide me with a genuine racist comment or view he has made. I know can't because there are none.

Evidence to a left-winger that someone is a racist? They are not a leftwinger and some other leftist calls them a racist? What world are we living in?

Here in Britain right now we are going through big changes, every day seems like a big news day. So much so that our sports stories are being confined to the "in other news" section. We have the new wannabe leaders put their names forward as today was deadline day - there was drama and back stabbing involved there too and the opposition party are trying their best to overthrow the leader. Then there is Nigel Ferage - where does he go from here now that his UK independence party have achieved their objective what happens next?

We are living in uncertain times but the £ has recovered somewhat and the dust is beginning to settle. Most people seem to have now accepted that the public vote has to be followed through on. I just wish it would all move forward - the autumn seems a long way off though it probably isn't.

I started a new thread about the Race to Replace Cameron, figuring that it is a fresh though related subject, and this place has largely become an a fight between PeterJens and everyone else.

I REALLY want to hear some British thoughts on these racists...I mean people (that's your invite, Peter) having only ever heard of Fox and Crabb (thanks to y'all).

You do have to love how the world has not ended. The markets are rallying. The pound is okay.

The warnings of the apocalypse are really just from people who depended on the EU bureaucracy for cushy perks. I suppose it is currently an apocalypse for them of sorts.

The exciting thing is that you have a vacuum to fill. Let's hope they don't fill it with squishes, but principled people willing to embrace the new and rather unforeseen future. To boldly go where no EU member-state has gone before! :p

Some Arab guy stood up in this meeting and railing about Jews in the media being the reason Brexit passed and the leader of the Labor party didn't say one word to defend the Jews ...one jewish girl got up and left and the media are blaming her without even mentioning what the arab racist said to her or about Jews. What is going on over there?

Blaming her for what, exactly? Refusing to be the target of a bully?

Jeremy Corbyn was born on the wrong continent and the wrong century. If I believed in reincarnation, I would swear he was one of those other Soviet madmen slain by Stalin during the Great Purge.

That's right, I said wrong continent. I've always held Britain to be separate and distinct from the Continent. I'm happy to see the British voters agree with me. :p

Political correctness seems to have gone too far. You can quote me any time you like:

I hate Islam :)

Now if Muslims want to take that personally, they may as well. Islam is
a Satanic religion and no Christian should have any qualms saying so.

Amen.

Of late I've grown rather hostile towards false claims about Islam.

At the end of the day though, it remains the world's widest and straightest path to perdition.
