60-40 is really damning.

If he makes it to 65%, Hillary should be biting her nails.

If Bernie wins..the Dems are stuck with Bernie...no way they can put someone in his place and not have folks go crazy.

After listening to this lunatic, socialist speak, I am seriously concerned for this nation and my kids. He promised, virtually everything to everybody, except of course the 539 billionaires that are somehow going to fund EVERYTHING,presumably by confiscating their property, the other 330 million people. Are people reeeally THIS stupid?

The first casualty in systems like these is invariably the middle class. They are the easiest to target and not nearly as profitable to collude with. Particularly if half of them are also drunk on "revolution."

America is not a country of half-measures. Leftists will not be content with Swedish-style socialism.

We have seen this over and over and over again in country after country. I understand that folks appreciate his honesty, but that has little bearing on the ideas he is honest about.

Come on my conservative friends ...things look good... Trump and Cruz will fight it out in the end and both Hillary and Bernie are as weak a candidate as we could ever hope for ... Conservative folks are fired up and no doubt we will have the white house and both houses ..then maybe we can turn back the insanity for some years to come.

Brother, you make good sense, but think how depressing it is that such a HUGE chunk of Americans support an out and out socialist.

America is drifting neither right nor left. We're drifting both ways and becoming increasingly polarized.

I don't know if Washington thought the dangers of political parties were inherently ideological, but if he did, his dire prediction may prove true.

Guy I just ask the Lord to let the kids I know and love to have a decent shot in a decent country like I did. Evil is growing in the perverted liberal minds all over the world ..My hope is just to turn it back until the kids get a chance to know the Lord, like I did.

I would just love to see the "Bern" beat Hillary.... and I wonder if he ends up beating Hillary ..how in the world could the Dems try to replace him in the general election without causing some sort of revolt in the party?
I do not think we want to go down that PATH, it has been tread before:

Mussolini was a socialist. Benito Mussolini was the leader of the Socialist Party of Italy. Like many modern media Mussolinis, he was a socialist and a journalist. . .
. . .
Between 1912 and 1914, Mussolini was the editor of the Socialist Party newspaper, "L'Avanti" (Avanti means "in front", "advance" or "forward" or even "come in"). In 1914 he started his own socialist newspaper "Il Popolo d'Italia" ("The people of Italy").

He was considered by socialists to be a great writer about socialism. He was a staunch proponent of revolutionary rather than reformist socialism, and actually received Lenin's endorsement and support for expelling reformists from the Socialist Party. He was in fact first dubbed "Il Duce" (the Leader) when he was a member of Italy's (Marxist) Socialist Party.

When Mussolini differed with some Socialists it was over participation in World War I, not over abstract theory, or economic doctrine. Many socialists were neutralists in the First World War, whereas Mussolini correctly foresaw that the Austro/German forces would not win the war and therefore wanted Italy to join the Allied side and thus get a slice of Austrian territory at the end of the war.

During World War I, Mussolini publicized what he admitted was his new brand of socialism. . . .

The swastika itself, although an ancient symbol, was sometimes used to represent overlapping S-letters for "socialism" under the National Socialist German Workers' Party. . . .

As German socialism's notorious flag symbol, the swastika was deliberately turned 45 degrees to the horizontal and always oriented in the S-direction. Similar alphabetic symbolism is still visible as Volkswagen logos. . . .

On October 28, 1922, Mussolini led his "March on Rome", which brought him to power for 23 years.

In late 1937, Mussolini continued to work with other socialists, including a notorious member of the Wholecost (of which the Holocaust was a part): the National Socialist German Workers Party (20 million killed); the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (60 million killed); the Peoples' Republic of China (50 million killed). Mussolini visited Germany in 1937 and pledged himself to support the National Socialist German Workers’ Party. In 1939, the National Socialist German Workers' Party joined as allies with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics to invade Poland in a pact to divide up Europe, spreading WWII.

In 1938, Mussolini introduced his ‘reform of customs.’” Hand-shaking was suddenly banned as unhygienic: a salute was to be used instead - the right forearm raised vertically. He imposed a new march on the Italian Army which was simply the goose-step of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party. According to the book “A Concise History of Italy” by Christopher Duggan, these reforms were introduced mainly to underline ideological kinship with the National Socialist German Workers’ Party and to impress it’s leader. . . .

How in the world can voters of today forget where Socialism led much of Europe in the early part of the last Century?

The Democratic Party has already taken us down that road ..and at least if Bernie wins..folks will have a clear choice and not all this deception that Obama and Hillary have used. If Bernie wins..it guarantees a conservative President

I am a genuine baby-boomer, born in 1949. Do you know how strange, it is for me to hear someone calling the 1930s, 1940s, "Ancient Europe"? To me that is ONLY when my Mom and Dad were in Middle School and High School.

THINK AGAIN:

The "Nazi salute" is more accurately called the "American salute" as
it was created and popularized by national socialists in the USA where
its use was mandated by law in government schools for three decades
before, and through, the creation of the National Socialist German
Workers' Party. It was the early gesture of the Pledge of Allegiance.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE SECRETS of Francis Bellamy, Youth's Companion, Edward Bellamy, Looking Backward + the American Salute. By Dr. R. Curry. Pledge of Allegiance http://rexcurry.net/pledge-allegiance-pledge-allegiance.jpg Pledge of Allegiance to the [/quite]

The inventor of the bellamy salute was James B. Upham, junior partner and editor of The Youth's Companion.[SUP][1][/SUP] Bellamy recalled Upham, upon reading the pledge, came into the posture of the salute, snapped his heels together, and said "Now up there is the flag; I come to salute; as I say 'I pledge allegiance to my flag,' I stretch out my right hand and keep it raised while I say the stirring words that follow."[SUP][1][/SUP]
The Bellamy salute was first demonstrated on October 12, 1892 according to Bellamy's published instructions for the "National School Celebration of Columbus Day":
At a signal from the Principal the pupils, in ordered ranks, hands to the side, face the Flag. Another signal is given; every pupil gives the flag the military salute -- right hand lifted, palm downward, to a line with the forehead and close to it. Standing thus, all repeat together, slowly, “I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands; one Nation indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all.” At the words, “to my Flag,” the right hand is extended gracefully, palm upward, toward the Flag, and remains in this gesture till the end of the affirmation; whereupon all hands immediately drop to the side.— From The Youth’s Companion, 65 (1892): 446–447.

The initial civilian salute was replaced with a hand-on-heart gesture, followed by the extension of the arm as described by Bellamy. Though the instruction called for the palm to be up, many found this awkward, and performed it with the palm down (see pictures above).
In the 1920s, Italian fascists adopted what they called the Roman salute to symbolize their claim to have revitalized Italy on the model of ancient Rome. This was quickly copied by the German Nazis, creating the Nazi salute. The similarity to the Bellamy salute led to confusion, especially during World War II. From 1939 until the attack on Pearl Harbor, detractors of Americans who argued against intervention in World War II produced propaganda using the salute to lessen those Americans' reputations. --source Wikepedia

Just like George Santayana once said,

"He who does not learn from history, is doomed to repeat it,".

I took the time to listen to Bernie last night and I had this very scary thought.
This dude may very well pull this off just like Obama did.
Ben Carson may be right when he said "we will get the president we deserve".
Better wake up America and repent.

One if not the most liberal states in the Union... and two candidates verses 10
