The shooter, Vester Lee Flanagan, has been pronounced as dead at the hospital he's been sent to. Honestly, good...

This isn't about religious beliefs and the afterlife. It's injustice that was shown right on screen while racial tensions have been at an all time high and people refusing to acknowledge that what has been done IS a hate crime. Now people arguing over gun bans, thinking that this proves that our guns should be taken because of illegal gun owners. People who were going to work, doing what they had to do and hoped to return home by the end of the day caught on film in agony and shot to death. The first media shooting that has ever been recorded, too.

My suspicions were confirmed,he was a homosexual. He sent a manifesto to ABC news saying people were being racist to him and how hard it was to be a gay black man.

You can see a video of the incident?

Absolutely no concern with the families involved with this.
What has the world come to.

YouTube hits over compassion....sad.

What a selfish person, do you know how hard it is to be a stay at home mom, scrapping by to make ends meet?! As if he was the only person who ever had a hard time struggling in this world, smh

Why can't it be about both? Those three who died senselessly will have eternity to spend...either with Jesus or in torment apart from Jesus.
Only a non christian would have made the statement you made.

My sentiments exactly. The attitude instilled In this guy that he is owed something is ultimately to blame. The race baiters and heterophobes have created this atmosphere.

Not quite so. The November 19, 1978 slayings of Congressman Leo Ryan and 26 others at the Jonestown air strip in Guyana was captured on tape by an NBC photographer's camera after he himself was shot and killed by the ambush team.

There have been other similar tapes over the years as well where media members were killed in war zones, crime scenes, etc. News organizations don't release those, however, so we don't see them. Even you.tube doesn't have a big collection.

Raising concern about the event and then bring our focus on something that isn't even part of our judgment to begin with sounds rather insensitive to me, especially towards the victim's families grieving. Then your closing statement to say where I stand on my belief system makes it more irrelevant, which questions me as to where your priorities stand on the subject.

I'm not going to be here arguing over something as pathetic as this. If you don't think my statement is 'Christian' or not, that's your opinion. It doesn't stop the tragedy that could've been well prevented to begin with.

No we can't say that. That's why I said either with Jesus or eternity apart in torment, it has to be one or the other...not both, not neither...as Christians that much we do know for sure.

I had to turn the television off because it was disturbingly apparent how the media is exploiting this tragedy to keep viewers tuned to the screen. Fake sentimentalism just to keep your attention. They made such a vivid psychological blueprint of the shooter's motive and strategy, I could imagine other terribly disgruntled persons making mental notes of it for future reference. Sensationalizing every graphic detail of brutality and murder is too distressing for me.

You are the one who attacked my initial comment, now you are going to play victim? Carry on.

I explained why. To say the event had nothing religious about it as she did was pretty callous to overlook the eternalness of souls.
i meant before you explained, but even still, callous as it may be, it's not our place to say whether one is saved or not. This is my opinion and I figured it might be most everyone's and assumed that you were just upset....lets just drop it? Yes?

Yes we'll drop it. Just one point of clarification...I never said one of them was saved or not saved.
