Ideally, I'd like a woman who is within 5 years of my age either way. but the single women my age that I've met seem so.....angry

I would imagine they are angry. They didn't get the happily ever after they were promised, and they are expecting you to make up for the sins committed against them. Of course, that's why most women are angry...

Well if gods in their life He helps you let go of all that .. I think it's important the clean up by God has been done.. Sometimes that takes I while .. It's when they can speak or joke (about their part only )" nice things" in spite of what all someone's been through that you know healing has taken place ..
That's therapy session 1

I had some similar thoughts but Aimee beat me to it :).

I can just see the next thread. "WHY ARE ALL YOU WOMEN SO DOGGONE ANGRY???" :) (And then, of course, someone will quote the Scripture about not letting the sun go down without letting go of your anger...) ;)

Seriously, though, I do understand Catherder's point. Many of the women I know are raising kids by themselves with no help from the father (not all, but the majority I know personally) and that certainly doesn't help their outlook much.

If it's any consolation, Catherder, the guys my age complain they're divorced because their wives didn't give them enough sex. Then they write and ask me what I'm wearing or say something like, "You know, you could make me feel a lot better," or "Hey, wanna get together..." Many of them are the deadbeat fathers who ran out on the kids the single women are raising.

No wonder all of us are single. The women are all angry. And the men are all... Well. (Just kidding. NOT MEANING to lump everyone in the same boat, honest!!!)

That kinda fits in Catlynn's sterotype thread. The enemy has set us all up pretty well though, huh? No, I'm not saying the devil makes us do whatever, but I do believe (hell, I know first hand) how people and cultures get set up. If you study psychology and sociology you can see the patterns emerging over time. Nothing is new under the sun, but there certainly is a lot more going on then there used to be.

You meant for the convent, right? Lol
I'd probably be the bad one at the nunnery... Sneaking out and trying to get a look at where all the monks live.

Well...my cutoff was 21. I decided that any girl younger than that would just be too immature. I even think most girls my age are too immature to get married.

I do believe that in most cases, marrying someone significantly older or younger than you (lets say...5 years if you're in your teens or 20's) is bad news. As far as how old my wife is...I'll just leave that to your imagination. I don't want to be that example that people use (like "oh, I know X is this much older than Y and they're perfectly happy"). Don't try to be the exception.

If you must know her age though...I'll reveal it if this gets lets say...ten "likes" ;)

I've always had a thing for older men. And by older I mean just older than me. I couldn't see myself dating a 20 year old just starting university. Been dere, done dat (as in the university thing). I'd go for somebody my age or even his early 30's depending on the guy.
