Geeks/nerds are awesome..! I wish I knew more guys like that. For instance, The Big Bang Theory, I would love to be friends with, or even date, guys like that. I love Sheldon and his amazing intellect :) Wish more boys were like that haha....
I think, if you're a guy, and you're a geek, you should be proud of yourself..coz ur awesome..!

I went to college with guys who would play WoW from 4 pm Friday to 6 am Monday without sleeping. They'd drink a ton of Mt. Dew and just stay up for days. It's stupid.

There are times when a computer geek is a precious sight to behold!!! Times when the sight of a pocket protector makes you leap with joy and want to kiss your khaki/polo shirt clad hero!!!!

Oh! wait...was I stereotyping???? ;)

There are a lot of great looking, sweet, brilliant, funny computer geeks out there! Of course we love them!!!!

OK, I have a problem with this thread. Most of the women say that they can find a computer geek attractive and wouldn't mind dating one. Here's what I think they are imagining when they think of a computer geek:

Ok I admit it! I'm a video game lover, and I'm proud!!

Seriously, I do play video games (MMORPGs for all of you who were wondering) and it is freaky how much I love this, considering I don't think I am very technically inclined or computer savvy.

So, naturally, I find guys who are computer geeks to be pretty swell....:)

ETA: Not the guy in the second photo just previous to this post, however.......bleh.

What kind of TRUE geek wears blue plaid tucked into blue slacks? That's just too uncomfortable to be working or playing on computers all day. Get some shorts or jeans or pajama pants. My goodness!

And NO true geek would smoke by he machinery. Ugh. Not only reducing your own life, but the life of your precious babies!

And another thing.. large glasses get in the way of large headphones. Downsize the glasses. Upgrade the headphones.

Ammo belt headphones?! SWEEET!!!! Ok, I will have to find a more modern computer geek picture. That guy is obviously from the 80's when only geeks owned computers and people smoked a lot.

Huh. I suppose that means I'm not a geek then, as I fail on both counts (smoking at the computer, and a wearer of large spectacles). But this thread confuses me, is it good to be a geek or not? Should I be glad I'm not a 'true geek'?

I'm quite sure you're allowed...these days sex has been bizarrely desexualised. Remember the 'sexed up dossier' a few years ago? Frankly, they did nowt for me. Not even a tingle.
