Stay away from onions and garlic if you want to kiss at some point on the date
Not true....just make sure you both eat it and it cancels out any problem....lol

Say a prayer at one point in your date, inviting God to be part of the occasion.

If the person welcomes God, rejoice, if not, no need for a second date.

Utah a his right about this, it's a bonus point for me when a man offers his hand to pray so you both can pray together.

That's one thing that improves my attraction to a man, if he directs our time together toward Christ. Wow is that appealing.

Recently came across some random advice... and figured I shared it.

1. If you want to see how a person will be like (treat you) if you married them. Study how they treat their family members because people can treat you EXTRA nicely (fake) for a while, but they won't do that for their families. They'll probably more likely act as their real self.

2. If they are not content with Jesus who is perfect... why would you expect him/her to be content with you, an imperfect person?

^^^ I think it's a great question. In general, I think people should be somewhat "stable" getting into a relationship.

Okay... your turn
I'm not getting any of this.

Huh? God calls us to not be unequally yoked. Dating 101 for a Christ follower right?

Why would a saint go on a date with someone they are not sure is their sibling in Christ?
They might if they were in love.

As a matter of fact yes. Yes he did. Holly was as quirky as he was.

Lesson learn. Men, find a woman as quirky as you. And women, vice versa, if not more quirky.
That's exactly what my wife did.

Don't get in a long-distance relationship. They don't work.
That's not true with everyone. In fact my neighbors are one of them that did make it work. See, he was from Ohio and his wife was from Oregon and they fell in love writing letters and talking on the phone and they currently have five children and can be as happy as can be.
I'm in agreement with you. I had a long-distance (1500 miles) relationship that worked out quite well.

How a person also treats people like waitresses/waiters and store clerks. I dated a guy who was super nice to me but treated those people like they should lay down and let him walk on them so his feet didn't touch the floor. And he never left a tip in a restaurant. If I ever date again I would watch that closely.
Now that's some real practical advice right there.

If I ever date again I am going to ask better questions....and I will NOT follow my heart. It has a propensity to not be very honest with me. Lol

In love with what? Christ or their flesh?

Philippians 3:3
For it is we who are the circumcision, we who serve God by his Spirit, who boast in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh--
We were all created in the image of God!
So, instead of seeing someone as a sinner you might see him just like God looks at His beloved creature.

Scripture is clear about whom we as a reborn in Christ saint should go about finding a mate.

You either trust all of Gods instruction or you dont!
Dont give me your wishy washy words that do not agree with what Christ has said. I stand on the word. And if you truly follow Christ;you cannot deny the words of God.

Your heart is deceitful who can understand it?

Scripture speaks:) Are you listening???????

2 Corinth
14Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? 15Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?…

Ephesians 5:11
Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.

What do righteousness have to do with unrighteousness>
A house divided upon itself will surely fall :(

1 John 1:6
If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.
Christ said: I answer the prayers of the righteous.

When you willfully walk away from Gods instructions after being shown the truth in his Living Word9 come to the knowledge of); it is your choice to be cut off from blessings. God will let you live your circumstances. You reap what you sow. Its a good idea to be obedient and save oneself the circumstances of rebellion:)

God has spoken. Im done here with this foolishness.
