ah bro. what i understand is that people shouldnt just have sex for the sake of it. Its very sacred my bro, and you treat something sacred as Fun. and people have sex yet dont have babies, Babies are BLESSINGS from the Lord, What i understand on what SEX is, is an additional act that solidifies a marriage. Two shall become one, it makes those two couples to no longer exist, but when people see them they SEE the UNITY they have as married people.. It is something unrelenting that one would go pass and basically stand naked before someone. It shows something extra than copulation...

Challenging the soul with temptation, jealosy, pleasure and rebelliousness. No one is, unfortunately, worthy of it, nor of the food they eat or the air they breathe. What a liberty we all take.

hmm i just realized that while sex is good, a marriage should not be founded upon this based upon some nice wisdom found over in another thread here saying that relationships based upon immediate gratification and pleasure and bound to fail if not strengthened elsewhere.

I don't know if it's necessarily FOR fun, but more like it IS fun so we will do it.

If sex weren't enjoyable, we wouldn't do it.

Splitting hairs, I know... but still.

LOL! Amen raincorn! Right after God told Eve that having babies was going to HURT He told her that she would be made to desire him. If it wasn't fun, there wouldn't be much "going forth and multiplying", huh? ;)

To the woman he said, "I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." Genesis 3:16

Of course the single people would choose ''both''. Fun is such a simple word to use. I personally believe it's a sacred act between a man and a woman commemorating their love for one another through an action created by God to be estatically enormously joyful. Although, fun is that for short I guess.

It's for much more than fun and/or making babies, although it certainly is those things too. It unites a couple intimately. It fills our need for sexual release, closeness, affection, trust, so many other things.

It's a very vital part of a healthy marriage.
With you, totally, on that, Jullianna!
(Mind you - The Queens thinks that sex are what her coal comes in!!).

I'd rather not analyze it. It ruins the magic. lol

(Not speaking from experience or anything...but still.)

A good question,

I am not convinced that 'fun' encompeses the full reality of sex. I would suggest that 'fun' is what most umarried people or date budies are looking for, yet for the correctly ordained context of sex (that is between a married couple only) 'enjoyment' would be a more descriptive word.

That is enjoying each other and bring each other closer, in aphysical and very important emotional way, yes fun is involved, but, i would hardly describe the marital experince as just merely 'fun'! and it goes without saying, thats how babies become.

making sweet love is always fun, it transcends time and takes us into a wonderful DIMENSION, its like feeling every sense INTENSIFY while having an out of body experience ....... out of a passionate embrace new life is created, the beautiful outcome of a couple combining their LOVE for each other.

out of the two options, well im not a fatherly type so sex would mostly be for some form of pleasure/intimacy.
