I DO NOT BELIEVE IN GOD WHATSOEVER! However, I'm skeptical. If one of you can give me a solid reason as to why I should believe in God, and I mean a really good reason, I will admit on here that God is real. But I have to tell you that I don't think any of you can give me a solid reason because there isn't any proof.
Why don't you pray to God and ask him to show you?

I don't understand atheist minded people; you want the truth, so go to the source of truth.

You guys are too good to pray? And what do you want to know God for is a better question?

Just want to try and spite the Christians? Try and laugh in our faces?

Lol

The laugh is ours actually.

You don't know my God now, but you will.

Doesn't mean if someone believes in G-d or a god means there a Christian. Also, who said the "two unbelievers," don't understand this? How do you know (who ever your referring to) isn't a believer?
Your comments are clear you do not understand Christianity or spirituality.

Doesn't change the fact that Einstein wasn't a christian. Anyone who actual read his theories and discoveries would know that. I would be glad to quote his work next time if that is anymore satisfying?
I know how to look up quotes on my own. Yet you still do not understand the point to the article. It wasn't WHO said it. It was what was said. Then again, from your posts I don't expect you to understand the obvious.

It is actually. It gives the impression to actual check this source and see what was really said. Sure all the scientific facts were correct to a point, but saying Einstein did this doesn't look good for the author or the sharer.
If you choose to obsess over the name in an article go right ahead. Many understand that is a diversiion tactic people use when they are unable to prove or disprove a context. They harp on insignificant points hoping people will forget the actual subject.
You even said there was fact in the article...but who cares about that.Lets whine and cry about someone using Einsteins name incorrectly because I can't argue something that is fact so I will throw a fit about something insignificant.

Also his attempt to disprove The theory of Evolution does not match up with any characteristics of Einstein, who fully supported the theory not to mention the attempts to disprove the Theory have yet to be successful.
Funny, I have yet to read anything about Einstein supporting or defending Darwin and his theories. Can you provide factual evidence that he even spoke of Darwin and the Theory of Evolution?
Nothing is ever said about him fully supporting the theory.

Defamation of character? HA! You wouldn't succeed in being a lawyer would you?
1. Christians are not the only people who believe in God.
2. It would rather hard to prove defamation in court when only a last name was mentioned. The article only said Einstein. It gives no first name.
If you want to play semantics that's fine. The act of implying someone said something when they didn't can be seen as misrepresenting someone in order to achieve an agenda, or presenting the person in a unfair or unjustified light.

1. The statements made are against atheism, the theory of evolution, and the scientific method. Now we can look at this and the implication of this towards Einstein or we can move on but I do not feel like walking you through this again if you cannot understand it. If you want to play dumb by suggesting it is not talking about Einstein, then that is fine I don't babysit people.

'What I see in Nature is a magnificent structure that we can comprehend only very imperfectly, and that must fill a thinking person with a feeling of "humility." This is a genuinely religious feeling that has nothing to do with mysticism. (Albert Einstein)'

The concepts of this conversation between these two people are flawed entirely, with poor attempts to disprove The theory of Evolution, which is fully supported with evidence.

I see no reason for this conversation I feel you are cherry picking what I say in short paragraphs. The simple matter of this is Einstein in fact never said this at all, and far removed from that fact, I already explained the illogical concept of duality. I feel it is best to leave it here. I do not mind though other people will read this and will at least understood at an appropriate level.

Where did Einstein say he supported evolution?

I don't care if you continue the conversation or not. I certainly will not lose sleep over it, yet you have yet to answer simple questions. You accuse others of defaming a man when you yourself cannot prove the comments you have made of him. Maybe it is best you stop discussing it.

LOL, silly Christian! I was a Christian until I looked up it's hypocritical history. First and foremost, the word, "Christian," was used only once in the whole bible by the city of Antioch. The disciples called them selves, disciples, not Christians. I m not going to get in a separate debate here.

I grew up in a Christian home and have been to church many times, so how do I not understand Christianity? I go by the term "Spiritual Theist," so how do I not understand what spirituality is? I apply all the scriptures in my life. I have spoken in tongues. I feel the true Deity's presence. So, would you like to say what I don't understand, when you clearly just guess on your own pity assumptions?

Then we know Einstein was not the student. Yay!

How old are you, 31? Ouch! Harass a 16 year old over a name which can very well be taken in a different manner if that very name was said to be the students.

Cute.
I was a Christian until I looked up it's hypocritical history
.
And where did you look this up at?
First and foremost, the word, "Christian," was used only once in the whole bible by the city of Antioch. The disciples called them selves, disciples, not Christians. I m not going to get in a separate debate here.
Christian means follower of Jesus. Disciple is a learner or pupil. Christian is not IN the bible, but the meaning is.
"Jesus saves" isn't in the bible either, but it is evident he does.

I grew up in a Christian home and have been to church many times, so how do I not understand Christianity?
How does going to church signify understanding?
I go by the term "Spiritual Theist," so how do I not understand what spirituality is?
So you believe in a god, or something of the supernatural yet have been all over this thread acting as if you do not believe in anything. By the way you may need to look up what a theist is.
If it is theistic evolution you actually believe in then say so and not go rounds trying to defend something you yourself don't believe.
I apply all the scriptures in my life.
Yet you call Christians hypocrits
I have spoken in tongues
.
Tongues ceased. The bible says they will cease along with other miraculous gifts. This alone shows me you have little knowledge and are grasping at straws.
I feel the true Deity's presence. So, would you like to say what I don't understand, when you clearly just guess on your own pity assumptions?
I would definitely say you do not understand. Right down to how you spell "G-d"... Are you Jewish now? Only Jews refuse to spell His name out of fear of defacing him. Even then most people know "God" is not his real name. Yet you say you know all about it so I figured you would realize that.

Then we know Einstein was not the student. Yay!
I never said he was.

How old are you, 31? Ouch! Harass a 16 year old over a name which can very well be taken in a different manner if that very name was said to be the students.
Apologies, I figured despite your age you could handle such conversations. Yet you play victim and claim to be harassed. I will leave you alone now. Since you feel the grown up is being mean.

Do I have to respond? So what if I say, "G-d." That is my own personal conviction.

The only proof of there being 'God' will be when you have faith that there is. God cannot be seen, no one's ever seen Him face-to--face, so, to see God, one needs to look at His Word (the bible) and pray for understanding, this, again, reverts back to faith.

Faith is not a tangible thing either, it takes faith to believe in a God :)

Give yourself a chance, when the feeling comes over you, like, maybe, right now :) , let your mind continue to work, and, maybe, just maybe, your openness of thought will cause you to choose Him, who has ALREADY chosen you :)

This is not the attitude to have towards this young person, this is a lost soul seeking answers, he's reaching out, pray for him,the enemy has his soul in a tight grip, you should never laugh at someone finding out too late to be saved, it means a child of God and a fellow human are lost forever

I don't mean to sound ugly, you are so young, but a soul lost forever is a terrible thing, nothing to laugh about

I will pray for you, God is something that is proven to your heart, not in a labratory, I hope you find Him,there is so much more beauty and wonder in the world when you know him, it can be difficult to believe with the world the way it is, and so many hypocritical. Chrisians out there, but he loves you, more then anything else in his creation, and he is there waiting if you will accept him in your heart

this should not even be a conversation you have to be blind and ignorant to ignore creation. nothing plus nothing does not create life, nor will it, ever.
my 2 year old son understands that.
close the thread yo!

I still find it hilarious people are responding to the OP despite the fact he was trolling and hasn't been back to the site in over a month, since posting this thread.

Your parents didn't "create" life.... The biological function for reproduction was designed BY GOD... Who created us from dust.
Agreed but first He had to make the dust. And before that He had to make the molecules and atoms and before that He had to make protons, electrons and neutrons.
