why does "god" require us to go by "faith"?
why does he not just appear in human form (like he supposedly did in the bible) and do all kinds of great miracles in this day and age when we have tv/internet and he can easily prove he is god by broadcasting him live all over the world and whenever he snaps his fingers the sun goes dark and then (snap) comes back, (snap) goes dark and then (snap) comes back, etc.
if that does not prove "god" i don't know what does lol
but he does not prove himself cuz he wants us to have "faith"?
well that's lame. (understatement)
Dunno. But you know what? I think it's very odd that when Jesus came here and performed all those phenomenal miracles right before hundreds and hundreds of people's eyes, those same people turned right around and killed Him.
Also, when it comes to proof, most prophecy can't be figured out until
after it comes true. Then men can look back and say, "Hey look! Those things that were prophesied in scriptures hundreds of years before the fact, came true! That's
soooooo weird..." Yes, if you truly look into it, you'll find it really can be proven (as much as anything can be proven, that is) that such prophecies were written long before they came true, and then they
did! But people who don't want to believe this still won't. Most people don't even care enough to honestly check it out.
This also has occurred to me when I've asked these same questions: When at war, it's not like you'd expect your leader to divulge his entire battle plan to the whole wide world, now would you? I mean, this isn't just some video game. This is a real live universal war.
