I have never been in your shoes so I dont know whats its like but I do know that being openly gay and being accepted into a bible-believing church are mutually exclusive....take your pick, but you dont get both.
Don't get me wrong, christians will love you and try to help you just like on this site but you need to understand that churches take their faith seriously and homosexuality is a sin according to God.
Those living in unrepentant sin are usually asked to leave a church. I remember my old church had a associate pastor involved in continuous adultery and was fired and no longer welcome as a member.
Remember, if you repent and get help to change your behavior then you will be accepted. However, as I tend to gather from your posts, that you have no intention of changing your behavior I would seriously consider your beliefs.
You are better off leaving the church so you can love the people you are attracted to without all the guilt.

You make it sounds as if heterosexuals don't have struggles with lust or wanting to change, either. We do, but it's necessary to understand that sin is enticing to every boy, girl, man and woman that walks and has ever walked this earth. Struggles are part of everyday life. If sin wasn't tempting, we wouldn't commit any.

You didnt answer my question so i'll ask again. Are you against a brother or sister having sex? How about a man having 20 wives? If not Why? Either you think ANY sex with ANYBODY or EVERYBODY is ok or you just want YOUR moral code to be what people should and shouldn't do.
See if we don't get our morality from Scripture than every man will do what is right in his own eyes.

Hey let's not attack this individual. Even though it does some a little silly in a Christian forum. He is a guest. We might be the only Bible he reads in his lifetime. We don't have to agree with his views. And he doesn't necessarily have to give reasons for what he believes. We are Christ's witnesses. We are not his lawyers!
I just want to tell you that God is real. You might have struggles believing this, but believe me, God will shake your world to convince you if He has to. Once you come to believe in Him, He will convince you of all these details. Right now I just want you to have an open heart. You might not know why "this God" would demand such things that don't make sense or if He's even real. Have an open heart, so that, when He reveals Himself to you, you will be ready to receive him. Don't harden your heart.

This is not the issue. Are you attracted to Jesus? He is awesome love and He lived and died to meet your every need. Matthew 19:16 lays out the story of what happens when we walk away with our heads low because of something Jesus confronts us about that we don't want to let go of. Now for the young man in Matthew it was wealth, possessions, family, everything. And the disciples were all, "How is there hope for anyone to be saved?"

The most difficult thing is to take an honest look at ourselves, to confront ourselves with that inner voice (our conscience, the voice of God), the same voice that asked Cain: "Where is your brother?". We don´t want to bring ourselves to deep in thinking and in introspection because what might come out can hurt us a lot. But, it´s the only way that we can change and know who we are; for now, we prefer slogans that confort ourselves, like "Be yourself" or "Live the life you love etc." etc., but some part of us (like you pointed out) knows that these are all lies, projections of who we want to be or what we think we are.
Worlds way of Love is selfish to self and those that we agree with
God's way is different, and sin is sin no matter how big or small, I can't condemn for me personally it is wrong even Hetero-sexually.
So maybe see and understand this type of love from God;
Luke 6:32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.
Would the above scripture include Homosexuality? I think so and all sin for God did go to the cross for us all did he not;
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
So to me this leaves each person to decide for themselves between God and them what is beneficial and what is not between them God and the others
For I know and believe God is the one that teaches us each when we believe what is right and what is wrong or what is beneficial and what is not and we thus decide to abide accordingly as we grow in maturity in God

Love of the flesh is opposite from the Spiritual Love of God
