paul preached on the sabbath...so what?

the old testament makes it clear that the commandment was to -rest- on the sabbath...what day paul preached has nothing to do with resting...

in fact i suspect that arguing with the jews in the synagogue wasn't exactly restful...

in case you missed it...this topic -started out- with someone throwing an accusation at other people...specifically someone began this thread with an accusation that people who worship on sunday are future recipients of the mark of the beast...

i posted interpretations of hebrews 4 and isaiah 66:23 from basic logic and basic english grammar...you just dismissed it as my 'opinion'

UMM But if one says they follow the Sabbath laws doesn't that mean one is suppose to WORK SIX days a week and not five?
Do you all get up on Sunday and go to work or do you all take that day off too? :confused:

The sabbath kreepers do the same to me as you. They do it also but it is OK when they do it. It is not OK when others who disagree with them do it. These hypocrites never once stop to think that everyone adds editorial comments to scripture, including themselves. Point out to them, when they post their own "opinions" and see how they like it.

Micheal50 reaches into scripture to find anything that seems to support his opinion that the sabbath is still in effect, even when we post scripture to the contrary. Paul did preach to the jews (not christians) on sabbath because.....
