IT Makes one Wonder,Out of around 300 Christian Doctrines , Which one IS the DOCTRINE of Christ? Which If one Don't have it,Has NO God.2 John 9,. This is Important Question, I compare With Paul's Question, 1 Cor 1:13 , Is Christ Divided?. And why he asked that; IS Because some Christians were calling Themselves after Paul,Cephas ,Apollos, even Christ; And Paul Rebuked them ,That they were carnal and not spiritual 1 Cor 3:1-4. One can not help wonder ,that if Paul rebuked them for having 4 Divisions ,What would he Say if he was here today with 300 and growing DIVISIONS ?.NO division,1 Cor 1:10,Rom 15:5, Phil 1:27,2:2, 20,.NO other doctrine, 1 Tim 1:3 6:3 4:16-17, NO Other Gospel ,which is Not Another,Gal 1:6-9, If one does not have the doctrine of Christ,HAS NO GOD.he that has the doctrine of Christ Has both the Father and the Son. And I compare that with John 17:21-23,which says , I in them, and thou in me, that they may be perfect in ONE.That is the ONE I am referring to, who can help? God bless...

The thing is that everyone has lived a different life so when they read God's word and interact, it is with their filters engaged. There will never be a complete unification of churches and doctrines here on earth. One must have a relationship with Christ and study His word for themselves, along with choosing a sound doctrine-based church to attend.

For me, the most important thing is that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven, He is the only way to salvation, and He is the only One that can save us. We must repent and turn from our sins. As long as we have Christ and are serving Him, the truth will be apparent and we will grow and move and change and, on that day, when we see Him face to face, hear, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

I agree completely. Everyone is at a different place in their relationship with God, none better, none worse. It's an ever changing relationship of knowing and loving God in new, different and personal ways. It's not to say that we can choose to believe whatever it is that we want, and just say that we love God and expect everything to be OK. But if people can get off of their spiritual high horses and respect that everyone is at different point of maturity, and rejoice in the fact that people do have a real and genuine relationship with God, there would be a lot more unity.

Go boldly my brother...the light is getting brighter. :)
We are not alone.

To strenghten your light:

Acts.2
[42] And they continued stedfastly
in the Apostles' Doctrine >> (that includes baptism calling on Jesus at step #2)
and in fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
[43] And fear (respect for Jesus our Maker) came upon every soul
and many wonders and signs were done by the (Spirit LED) Apostles.

Eph.4
[4] There is ONE body, and ONE Spirit, even as ye are called in ONE hope of your calling;
[5] One LORD (Jesus),
ONE faith, >> (in the Father and the Son)
ONE baptism, (calling on Jesus for pardon, from under the water)
[6] ONE God and Father of all,
who is above (superior to) all, and through all, and in, (by his Spirit after baptism), you all.

I Cor.1
[10] Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
that ye all speak the >> same thing, and that there be >> no divisions among you;
but that ye be >> perfectly joined together in the >> same mind and in the >> same judgment.

The divisions are being cause by 'unwashed, egotistical, beastly Philosophers'
who do not know the LORD Jesus and disrespect his handpicked and glorified Apostles and speak of g-d only.

Keep the TRUTH (the WORD) held high.

There are rewards for everything ... :)

I had constantly been trying to figure out how to 'fix' what was wrong in my church. I went to a family camp over Labor Day weekend and the pastor said, "We are not called to 'fix' the church. We are called to live for Christ and reach the lost." That set me free from my 'fix-it Felix' mentality. :) The pastor went on to say, "When I go somewhere, I expect one Christian to show up: me."

The doctrine of Jesus is:
Jesu
the word of God.

Jesus has told us what is expected of us.
If we love him we will read his word from front to back obediently following all the truth and being like little children.

Jesus told us not to follow the doctrines of men.
Men are things like, well, men and women who added another five pounds to our yokes.

If it is in the bible do it
if it isnt dont do it.

simple

Doctrines of men are not in the Bible.
search for every verse and read them all and you will know what to do
taking one verse out of context is not like Jesus
Isa 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

All churches have false doctrines, even in Jesus day?

Mat 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
who did he speak of?
The leaders in the church of his day, the church he went to, they got a lot of things wrong, they thought Jesus was supposed to go into politics, when Jesus clearly stated his discipes do not do politics...
the pharisees were political and Jesus aid this is not important
The word of God is i,mportant.

There is only one way to baptize
there is only one day to worship on
there is only one way to worship God correctly
there is only one way to kneel in prayer
there is only one way to be reverent
and there is only one way to study the word of God
under personal inspiration of the Spirit of God.

Wow. Let me guess that way is your way? Is that an all inclusive list or is there more?

The One with Whom we must be one is Christ. We cannot do this apart from the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Our evidence will be our desire to love the Lord our God with all our strength.

For the cause of Christ

Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Rev 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
Rev 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
Rev 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Rev 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:7 If ye had known me,(the word of God) ye should have known my ather also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
John 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you (BIBLE) I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
John 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

The WAY of JEsus from genesis to Revelatin

is obedience

the people who are disobedient always die
the people who are obedient always live

did you know that datahn and Abiram had a meeting with thier folowers and had a theological discussion and came up with what they thought was right and God killed them with lightning.

it doesnt matter what your theological discussion is about it matter if you love God and obey his word
and his word can only be obeyed by love in the power of the divine holy spirit

so the key is
1. Fall in love with God by asking for it
2. Pray he send you his holy spirit so you have the power to do right
spend time with him continually this is abiding with him
3. Sanctify self (change all the wicked things in your life and stop doing them by faith thorugh prayer and the power of God in you by his holy spirit and the prayers like psalms 119 prayers
this path is never complete but gets better and better while you are on the path you are safe
and if killed at any time are guaranteed salvation since you are on that path

the disobedient will not inherit the kingdom of God's love
they will not inherit eternal life no matter what they profess.

ONE baptism, (calling on Jesus for pardon, from under the water)
Please quote the book chapter and verse that says when we are baptised we are to call on Jesus while under water.

Are you a follower of the false prophet William Marion Branham? He also held that people should be baptised in Christ’s name only instead of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Is that where your Scripturally bankrupt views come from?

For those who are unaware this cult has secrets they don’t want to share on CC see this response with quotes from wordsponge @ http://christianchat.com/bible-discussion-forum/78817-recovering-matt-28-19-baptism-formula-pro-christ-gentile-save-thyself-7.html#post1300649 or maybe you would prefer this quote fromdaughterof light @ http://christianchat.com/bible-discussion-forum/78817-recovering-matt-28-19-baptism-formula-pro-christ-gentile-save-thyself-7.html#post1300637

Well you seem to like this, I can see as you are baptised your mind is on Jesus
this is not a big issue
I think it is automatic
wherever you go, if your mind is on Jesus there he is
Im am sure while you are under water you continue thinking about Jesus

here is a verse I think you may like

Jonah 1:17 Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
Jonah 2:1 Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly, (under the water)
Jonah 2:2 And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell (mistranslation-the grave) cried I, and thou heardest my voice.

Yes God hears you even under water...

notice how in the KJV the call death and the grave HELL?
that is cause there is no hell they just mistranslated all the grave and death bible tests into hell
Jonah was not in hell obviously

get a e-sword Bible and study the word hell and read every one very clear...

have a nice day

The one true doctrine is different to lot of different people. no one has all the answers. Is there really such thing as the one true doctrine? to me it seems like every doctrine while not completely right each have a piece of the puzzle, just like each prophet in the bible was different but each had something important to add to the Gospel

Dan 10:17 For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
Dan 10:18 Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,

When a prophet is in vision he stops breathing.

The false prophets keep breathing, the true ones stop breathing.

all the translations if studied will all come to the same doctrine

Those who do not study will take things out of context

You can disprove Jehovahs witnesses take on the kingdom by looking them up with their own bible

John 7:17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

the key is
you have to be a man who is doing Gods will
who has given his live to god
and God promises he will show him the true doctrine

The reason that there are so many doctrines is they havnt studied, and changed their errors as soon as they see them they sit and fight over them.

Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

ther is only one true way and you will find it if you pray and read your bible with all your heart
