none lol I got my ears pearced one time and they got infected :( lol
One each side, and not again, then... :) People often find that it's safer and cleaner to do it in a piercing/tattoo parlor with a needle rather than at a mall kiosk with a gun.

Blessings.

PS: Ms. Kay, the getting doubles put it seemed to increase in the late 70s, mainly by young women, although since then more mature women have certainly caught on to the practice.

Yes she always lets me make up my own mind about what I want to do but she always has something to say about it. Like the tattoo I'm about to get, me not taking medicine or seeing a doctor when I sick or hurt, or the fact I'll never cut my hair again. But I guess all moms have something to say when it comes to their kids.
PS: Presley:

Yes, in the end adults make their own decisions about getting piercings.

Or inked.

I reckon your mom thinks you're likely to get it right for yourself, according to your preferences, anyway.

Blessings.

Well I wouldn't say she thinks I'll get it right on my own..but her and my dad both believe growing up means maken your own decisions.
Even if they are right or wrong. We have to learn some things on our own.

Presley: Anyway I think you sort of indicated that she is still likely to end up having more metal and ink that you'll have, even when you're done getting holes and ink, right?

Blessings.

I am not sure if they are Biblical, but I like them. ..
Ms. Angela: Hard for anyone to claim categorically that they are not Biblical if the Lord Himself, in a passage that seems to teach imputed righteousness, is recorded as giving earrings (Ezekiel 16.12)! :)

Blessings.

Actually she has one on one side, and two on the other side. I think she was shocked because my sister got a tragus piercing and Mom wasn't expecting that :p
PS: Traguses are getting quite widespread. I guess none of yours are those, though.

I have three in one ear and one in the other. I was bored. There weren't any cell phones in my younger days... lol.

Oh yes I know. Everyone has their own opinion.
And yes She has many. 6 in one ear and 7 in the other.
PS:

Presley: Well, whether it's 3 like Ms. as-i-am or 6/7 like your mom, it's become very widespread and quite 'acceptable' for women of all ages to get multiples put in, hasn't it? (I haven't worn earrings for a long while, though.)

Blessings.

I only wear one, but I've seen many women wearing 2 or 3 and I like how it looks on them.

Ms. as-i-am: Yes, three in one ear has become a well established trend, has it not?

So you continue to wear the three in one lobe, do you? :)

Blessings.
