The interesting thing in your statement is that the verse you quote uses the word, koinos, for defile. This word, koinos, describes something that is unclean because of conscience and not because it was created unclean. If it was created unclean, such as a pig, the word would be, akathartos. We find Peter using both koinos and akathartos in the same sentence.
Acts 10:14 But Peter said, “Not so, Lord! For I have never eaten anything common or unclean.”
Eating with unwashed hands is not sinful to God so it does not make you koinos but eating something that is akathartos is a different story.
2 Corinthians 6:17 Therefore, “Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean (akathartos) thing, and I will receive you.”
Unclean in the conscience not because God said it was unclean.
Romans 14:14I know and am convinced by the Lord Jesus that there is nothing unclean of itself; but to him who considers anything to be unclean koinos, to him it is unclean koinos.
