My wife and I went on our honeymoon to Vegas. We stayed at the Paris. My feet hurt for like 4 months after we got home. They need to put padding or something down to walk on.

Bring better shoes to Vegas. Your feet will thank you and you'll have a much more congenial attitude with the person you are relating with.....that's gold right there.

Exactly. You don't want your first conversation to be asking her on a date. I'm telling you man, buy her a chocolate. As nonchalantly and cool as cucumber say, I thought of you when I was at the store and I thought you might like chocolate so I bought you some.....hand it to her, open yours and take a bite....

It just seems like a strange thing to do out of nowhere. It would make more sense if she properly knew me already

oh really??? You silly goose, what about the disciple that was betraying him?
Why did Jesus wash Judas' feet knowing his heart had turned bad? Well Jesus models for us here how we are not to practice presumptive excommunication. Jesus treated Judas as his own, in order to show the need to leave time and opportunity for repentance and turning. The wheat and tares will grow up together, and we are not to be presumptuous about who the tares might be, but to be longsuffering with one another.

It does not mean Judas at that time was forgiven or saved in that moment. Jesus made it clear that one of them was a devil and that one of them was going to betray him. Which is what happened. Judas betrayed the Lord. He then went and hung himself. A sin that cannot be repented of (Unless one comes back from the dead).

She has caught your eye....right? You are subtly letting her know that you think of or thought of her. You gotta take risks....love is risky business.

I don't know what you americans are like but over here walking up to someone and giving them a bar of chocolate when they barely know you isn't subtle :D

Dude, you're all over the place and I have no idea what you are even arguing about. The kids trying to figure out how to get to know a girl. Are you a flippin Hutterite who's wife makes your clothes made from fabric stolen off the rack from Ben Franklin?

You and I are probably never gonna see eye to eye primarily because you over spiritualize everything to the detriment of relationship....at least on this forum. I hope you are not like that in your personal relationships. Over spiritualizing is unspiritual and you can't wash people's feet when you are looking down on them from your high horse.
First, again, I am merely telling you what the Bible says. If you have an issue with the verses I quoted, then let's discuss them instead of talking about your personal opinion on things. Second, Scripture tells us that we are to live holy lives and strive to live holy. God does not tolerate believers abiding in unrepentant sin. Third, washing feet was for true believers and it was not done towards those who sinned against God and or who were unbelievers.

You suggested or implied that Judas was in favor with Jesus because he washed his feet. My reply was saying that this was not the case at all. This is important to understand because God will not tolerate sin. Neither will the Lord approve of someone puttinng themselves into a sinful situation whereby they know they can be tempted or do the wrong thing.

This is what I am talking about. You are saying... love. There is no chance of love with this woman if she is not believer in Jeesus Christ. Unless one does not care about their walk with Christ, then I suppose it doesn't matter who you want to date and or hang out with. But bad company corrupts good morals; And we are not to be unevenly yoked with unbelievers.

The next time I go to the dentist I'm gonna refuse Novocain just to see if it's more fun than dialogueing with you.

Sirk: Trust me, it's not. I'm the one-in-a-million with that one tooth that the dentist can't numb, no matter how much novocain he shoots into which nerve. It ain't fun. Trying to discuss something here is more fun than having a tooth drilled on while it's alive. Just barely more fun.

The Word of God can be very offensive to people. So it is not the issue you have with me but with God's Word.
