I don't know what you americans are like but over here walking up to someone and giving them a bar of chocolate when they barely know you isn't subtle :D
Pick her a flower, give it to her and remind her of her awesome beauty in your eyes....no fear as love casts out all fear bro.....!

Maybe if you do the norm and get a dozen roses or something....pick her a wild flower if you can find one this time of the year and just be simplistic in your approach.....one time i was sitting at a stoplight with a very special girl...I got out of the truck..traffic all around and picked her a single flower out of the ditch and she absolutely loved the randomness and unique approach...she said it was one of the best gifts she had ever recieved......sometimes it is the little simple things that make the biggest impact...was not planned...just happened as a spur of the moment......NO FEAR BRO...just DO it :)

The point is you have to be bold yet simple. You want her to know that you have thought of her and you wanna do something that will cause her to think of you. You gotta be cool and be original. You're creative so do something creative to pique her interest then pull back a little. Be cool, be confident...you like her but you don't need her. If you do that right it will create interest about you in her. Girls like a little mystery.

According to Annabou I need to get to know her first
That is very good advice!

Look for ways to be considerate. Find things about her worthy of sincere compliment; but don't try to flatter her.

If she seems receptive, invite her to do something fun (like skating or bowling or biking) with you.

She will be far more likely to accept a prom invitation from someone who has shown appropriate interest in her.

The more I hear others here talk about how you should take her out or use the right method to impress her, the more I think you should just leave her be. Unless you plan on telling her about Christ, you should move on. Pray to the Lord to help you to find a Christian girl who is on fire for the Lord. You will be more happy if you wait upon the Lord instead of seeking to do those things that the world does.

Right, and that is why you didn't address the verses I brought up.
Ummmmmm......nope. I'm just incapable of debating a spiritual giant such as yourself so I respectfully forfeit. :)

Refer to post 208.......and then understand that maybe, just maybe the Lord is laying on his heart to be with this woman whom he might win to the truth....You really take the cake!

Very few will address anything with you Jason...it would seem you would figure out why....no offence meant!
Again, it is because of God's Word. If people have an issue with my view of Scripture, I am more than happy to debate it. But... if they are not willing discuss the Scriptures with me, chances are it is because they honestly don't know how.

Your not happy to debate anything other than your own misguided view Jason....for months now many have proven several things that you teach to be in error and at the end of the day you ignore the truth, twist what is said, try to prove your stance with (real world experiences) and refuse to acknowledge truth that contradicts SOME of the things you teach.....NO OFFENCE MEANT!

Exactly. How could we know how to debate someone who has as much understanding as you? I am vastly underequipped to debate someone as wise as you.

I already discussed that it was okay to take her to the Prom if his goal was to tell her about Jesus Christ. What I don't like is that folks here are trying to treat this woman like she is someone that he can actually hook up with (When that is not the reality according to Scripture). We are not to be unevenly yoked with unbelievers.

Is it difficult for you to not be able to control this situation? You and a few others on here are very controlling black and white thinkers.....just in case you were wondering, neither one is virtuous.

Again, you are still talking so as to make things personal and you are not using the Scriptures to address this topic and neither are you discussing the Scriptures I brought up. It's not difficult to do if you know the Word of God, my friend.

The next time I go to the dentist I'm gonna refuse Novocain just to see if it's more fun than dialogueing with you.
There you go...making me laugh again. You're crazy. I love it.

When you say.... black and white, would I be correct to assume that you mean there is a shade of grey when it comes to morals? In other words, do you believe that there is no moral absolutes for the believer? Is that what you are trying to say? No black and white? No definitive good or evil? That there is a Kingdom somewhere between God's Kingdom and the devil's kingdom?

Well, if that is the case, do you know that Jesus said you cannot serve two masters?
