I can assure you that there's no need whatsoever for you to apologize to me. Quite frankly, your post was like a breath of fresh air in a normally "smoke filled" place...if you know what I mean.

Anyhow, people who have been lulled to sleep need to be aroused from time to time...even if many/most of them will willfully, stubbornly and defiantly go right back to bed.

Have a blessed day in the Lord.
Funny, too funny, nothing like putting front and center the second of the Commandments given to us by Jesus.......oh, wait, maybe that WAS NOT part of His Gospel?

Kinda like: Agree with us or else? Funny, too funny

The joke is on you, friend.

The second commandment to which you refer commands us to love our neighbors even as we love ourselves.

And...???

I love myself enough to take heed to Christ's commandments and warnings and I therefore encourage others to do the same.

This isn't rocket science.

It is not a work of man, but of God who transforms. But without true repentance and obedience, it will not happen. Your will is still required. Those who do not grow in Christ are dead. So many have become deceived into being content with death. Having a form of godliness yet denying its true power. If you want to relax the commandments of God and teach others to do the same, it is on your head.
Here is death!
2Co 3:6 ¶ Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

So you keep the law, all of it? Or are you judging others by a standard you don't keep? How is that loving others as yourself?

So, your insinuating commentary demeaning those who disagree with you are "in keeping" with the Love Thy Neighbor commandment? Interesting........

Mayhaps you should call your ministry...........the last insult ministry? Or mayhaps your ideology...........don't let a good insult go to waste?

Nothing in the Gospel of Christ is a "joke." That alone reveals much about you.

Cherry picking His Gospel to suit ones ideology is not ever gonna satisfy Him.......but, hey, go ahead.

SALVATION ISA GIFT OF GRACE!

Salvation: Salvation is a multi step process in my opinion, based on how I understand Scripture. Before I can fully explain my thoughts, it is necessary to establish a“base line” of Biblical beliefs from Scripture.

Step One in God’s Salvation Plan: “Called” We who are saved are called by God unto salvation. He calls us to become His children.
1) God is a Spirit. John 4:24) God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

2) John 6:44) No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day

I believe that God calls us through the Holy Spirit. In that the Holy Spirit moves upon our heart, upon our spirit to make us aware of our sinful life. A life apart from God equates to a sin filled life in my opinion. To be apart from God is to be living in sin.

3) Romans 8:29) For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 .) Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Once we become aware of His calling, of the Holy Spirit moving upon/within us, we face a decision. This is“conviction.” Being convicted by the Holy Spirit of our sinful life apart from God, we must decide if we are going to “confess” our sins, and ask Him to forgive us of our sins, and accept into our lives as our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. Or, we can turn and walk away, and deny Him. Sadly, there are those that do just this in my opinion, for I have known some who walked away from His calling, never to be visited by the Holy Spirit again.

Conviction leading to Confession (which can also be stated as Repentance) is when we are down on our knees and with a sincere and contrite heart confess our sinful life apart from God, and ask Him into our lives, to receive salvation through Grace. His Grace is a gift, and not of any work of ours, and that gift was purchased with the precious blood that His only begotten Son shed on Calvary’s cross. Our salvation was bought with His blood. When God bestows His gift of Grace upon us, and the blood of Christ is applied to our hearts, cleansing us of all sin, we become a “new born” believer.

1[SUP]st[/SUP]John 1:7) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Revelation 1:5 “…Unto him that loved us, and washed us
from our sins in his own blood.”

Hebrews 13:12 “Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify
the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.”

Romans 3:24-25 “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;”

Romans 5:9 “Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”

In my opinion, this “new birth”is a “spiritual” rebirth, not a physical one. Just as Jesus spoke of to Nicodemus.

John 3:4)
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 .) Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 .) That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 .) Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

The Law……………..Faith

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Romans 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Romans 10:1-4 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth. 9.) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10.) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

1[SUP]st[/SUP] Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 19) For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 22) For the Jews require a sign, and the Greek’s seek after wisdom; 23) But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness. 24) But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 27) But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.

Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

3:7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. 10) For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. 11) But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. 12) And the law is not of faith; but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13) Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 17) And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. 18) For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. 19) Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed shold come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angles in the hand of a mediator, ……23) But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24) Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25) But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26) For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. 15) Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace. 16) And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby; …….19) Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

Colossians 2: 6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him; 7) Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the traditions of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9) For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, 10) And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power;

3:14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15) And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 16) Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another, in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Timothy 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4) Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5) For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Titus 3:4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6) Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7) That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Hebrews 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. 7) For if the first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. 8) For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah; …………12) For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. 13) In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are alled might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. 16) For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator…………28) So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. 2) For then would they not have ceased to be offered? Because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins…… 9) Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, oh God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. 10) By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
You are going about this backwards. It will help if you don't try to use Paul to understand Christ, but use Christ to understand Paul.

Paul writes to those who are born again. They are not free to sin, they have been freed from sinning.

I was going to spend more time on this post, but I can't open your eyes for you so study for yourself.
When did we forget the teachings of Christ?
When did we become so blind that we can read again and again that which He plainly says yet not comprehend it in the least?
When did salvation become a free gift with nothing required of us?
Have we lost our minds? ........
we didn't forget. we never knew him.

we didn't become blind. we were born blind, and are blind all of our lives.

salvation became a free gift with nothing required - no life change- during paul's lifetime. he and all the apostles fought it with all the strength yahweh gave them and many miracles and healings and casting out such demons.

we didn't lose our minds. we didn't have ("a spirit of power, of love, and a sound mind") to start with. mankind is born stupid.

......
the good news is all that is what yahweh sent yahshua to take care of for those he chooses. pray to be chosen. when you're chosen, it's a BIG SURPRISE ! with unbelievable pure and complete PEACE, JOY and RIGHTEOUSNESS and ETERNAL LIFE to boot.

Haven't you been born again? Don't you understand Paul?

Do you think Paul is saying something that the Lord Jesus Christ doesn't want him to say?

You are right, though. Paul writes to those who have been born again.

I had to use the whole bible to try and understand Christ. To understand what He did for me. Paul warns us of many problems that can come into our walk. And he always gives the solutions for those problems.

When did we forget the teachings of Christ? When did we become so blind that we can read again and again that which He plainly says yet not comprehend it in the least? When did salvation become a free gift with nothing required of us? Have we lost our minds? Does God not hate sin as much now as He did in the past? For anyone who thinks you can be born again and still sin, I am begging you to repent! Has all our eyes gone dark? Have we lost all our saltiness?! Curse the watered down garbage "Gospel" which has confused us for so long! Everybody needs to seriously re-examine everything they believe about Christ and the Christian life cause most of you are so far off it's not even funny. Re-read the teachings of Christ carefully, understand exactly what He is saying. Read about the cost of discipleship, read about remaining in the vine or being torn off and burnt, read about being persecuted for righteousness sake, read the words of John the Baptist... Forget the teachings of Paul completely until you fully understand Christ!! Only then will you lost souls be able to correctly understand what Paul is saying. Stop your sinning or perish! That is the message, not optional what so ever. Those who continue in sin are of the devil. The Holy Spirit is only given to those who obey Christ! John 14 and Acts 5:32. Jesus is not your homeboy, you do not receive His perfect righteousness if you continue in sin, Saints are not the same as sinners. Practicing sinners are not allowed in the church. A sinners prayer does not save you. Try to understand the people Jesus is talking to, they are not gentiles fully engulfed in sin, they are Jews who already live a very devout life to God, they already understood the importance of not sinning! They had the death penalty for blaspheming and sin!! You know who Jesus talked to that most resembled the modern church? Pharisees and Saducees! "Oh, but we have Jesus for our saviour" Do you not realize that the Father could raise up from stones, people who have Christ as their saviour!

And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to hell,[h] to the unquenchable fire.45 And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into hell.47 And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown intohell,48 ‘where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.’49 For everyone will be salted with fire.[j]50 Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness, how will you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”

John the Baptist
“You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?8 Bear fruit in keeping with repentance. 9 And do not presume to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father,’ for I tell you, God is able from these stones to raise up children for Abraham. 10Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
11 “I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.”

10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. 12Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Salt and Light

13 “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet.
14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that[b] they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.19Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ 22But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother[c] will be liable to judgment; whoever insults[d] his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell[e] of fire. 23 So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. 25 Come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison. 26 Truly, I say to you, you will never get out until you have paid the last penny.[f]
Lust

27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.

“You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ 39 But I say to you, Do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40 And if anyone would sue you and take your tunic,[h] let him have your cloak as well. 41 And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. 42 Give to the one who begs from you, and do not refuse the one who would borrow from you.
Love Your Enemies

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet only your brothers,[i] what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? 48 You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

I didn't understand the Gospel message until I read Paul's letters. As Jesus said:

But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. [SUP]8 [/SUP]When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: [SUP]9 [/SUP]about sin, because people do not believe in me; [SUP]10 [/SUP]about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; [SUP]11 [/SUP]and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.[SUP]12 [/SUP]“I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear.[SUP]13 [/SUP]But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth John 16:7-13

Paul preached the truth of sin and righteousness the disciples could not yet bear to hear such truth from Jesus, for the Spirit had not as yet come to dwell in them. How can you say we should not learn of sin and righteousness immediately, it is pivotal for the Christians walk

No that standard is just for others...he has a special escape clause

I think he whitewashed a tomb somewhere and that allows him to preach a standard he does not keep?

Temptations to Sin
17 And he said to his disciples, “Temptations to sin[a] are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come! 2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin. 3 Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, 4 and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”

Luke 22:31 “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat.

I am not trying to cause trouble, I am trying to wake people up from their slumber.
We have created and preached a false Jesus.
If you are practicing sin and your desires are to gratify the flesh, you are not a new creation.
The sad truth is that you are trusting in your own righteousness for eternal life with Jesus.
If you continue that path, you will have eternal life in hell.
It is not about you and what you do or are doing, It is about Jesus, what he did and continues to do.

[SUP]41 [/SUP]I do not receive glory from men. [SUP]42 [/SUP]But I know that you have not the love of God within you. [SUP]43 [/SUP]I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not receive me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive.
