You didn't answer my question.
I most certainly did. And while we're on the subject of forgotten teachings of Jesus, you fail miserably at loving neighbors. You have an incredibly venomous, malignant attitude and because of that I choose not to engage with you too often, except when I'm bored.

No, you did not answer my question about why Jesus said that we ought to cut off our hands or pluck out our eyes in the worst case scenario as opposed to having our whole bodies thrown into hell and I never expected one such as you to answer such a question in that you regularly ignore the teachings of Jesus as if they're just some sort of "filler" in our Bibles.

As far as your other comments are concerned, I'm actually glad that you're so opposed to me in that it's beyond evident to me that you don't even know Christ and are but one of several here who have embraced "another Jesus".

Anyhow, your antinomian friend "liked" your comments as if I'm surprised by the same.

I think that the problem is that some people (probably those among the tares) teach Jesus as Savior without teaching Jesus as Lord. When we acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus, the requirement of obedience becomes obvious!

Another problem is those who think their work is done when they lead a person to Jesus.

Mt 28:19-20
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
KJV

Some people obey verse 19 but don't have time for verse 20. They are just as disobedient as those who ignore the great commission altogether.

The task of discipleship is just as important as the task of evangelism. If you lack the doctrinal foundation to disciple or or evangelize by mass media, you still have a responsibility to direct a new believer to a Bible believing church and impress upon him/her the need to be fed.

You seem to have your own brand of selective obedience!

Ro 14:4
4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
KJV

Anyhow, I'm not here to "judge" anybody, but rather to hopefully help people from facing God's judgment one day.

I was going to spend more time on this post, but I can't open your eyes for you so study for yourself.
When did we forget the teachings of Christ? When did we become so blind that we can read again and again that which He plainly says yet not comprehend it in the least? When did salvation become a free gift with nothing required of us? Have we lost our minds? Does God not hate sin as much now as He did in the past? For anyone who thinks you can be born again and still sin, I am begging you to repent! Has all our eyes gone dark? Have we lost all our saltiness?! Curse the watered down garbage "Gospel" which has confused us for so long! Everybody needs to seriously re-examine everything they believe about Christ and the Christian life cause most of you are so far off it's not even funny. Re-read the teachings of Christ carefully, understand exactly what He is saying. Read about the cost of discipleship, read about remaining in the vine or being torn off and burnt, read about being persecuted for righteousness sake, read the words of John the Baptist... Forget the teachings of Paul completely until you fully understand Christ!! Only then will you lost souls be able to correctly understand what Paul is saying. Stop your sinning or perish! That is the message, not optional what so ever. Those who continue in sin are of the devil. The Holy Spirit is only given to those who obey Christ! John 14 and Acts 5:32. Jesus is not your homeboy, you do not receive His perfect righteousness if you continue in sin, Saints are not the same as sinners. Practicing sinners are not allowed in the church. A sinners prayer does not save you. Try to understand the people Jesus is talking to, they are not gentiles fully engulfed in sin, they are Jews who already live a very devout life to God, they already understood the importance of not sinning! They had the death penalty for blaspheming and sin!! You know who Jesus talked to that most resembled the modern church? Pharisees and Saducees! "Oh, but we have Jesus for our saviour" Do you not realize that the Father could raise up from stones, people who have Christ as their saviour!

And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to hell,[h] to the unquenchable fire.45 And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into hell.47 And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown intohell,48 ‘where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.’49 For everyone will be salted with fire.[j]50 Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness, how will you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”

John the Baptist
“You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?8 Bear fruit in keeping with repentance. 9 And do not presume to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father,’ for I tell you, God is able from these stones to raise up children for Abraham. 10Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
11 “I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.”

10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. 12Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Salt and Light

13 “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet.
14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that[b] they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.19Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ 22But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother[c] will be liable to judgment; whoever insults[d] his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell[e] of fire. 23 So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. 25 Come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison. 26 Truly, I say to you, you will never get out until you have paid the last penny.[f]
Lust

27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.

“You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ 39 But I say to you, Do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40 And if anyone would sue you and take your tunic,[h] let him have your cloak as well. 41 And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. 42 Give to the one who begs from you, and do not refuse the one who would borrow from you.
Love Your Enemies

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet only your brothers,[i] what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? 48 You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
What's wrong with you W. Enoch? Have you lost your marbles? Has your eyes gone completely dark? How can you read over and over again the same passages and never comprehend what it says? Salvation became a free gift when Jesus bought and paid for your Salvation on the cross and took your punishment for you so you wouldn't have to be punished.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
[SUP]9[/SUP] Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Oh yeah. I forgot. You want us to forget the words of the Apostle Paul until we understand the words of Jesus. OK. Here are the words of Jesus:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (Here Jesus is saying we have eternal life because we believe in Him, not because we earn it through a lot of good works)

John the baptist: He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. ( The only thing that saves you is belief in Jesus, and the only thing that damns you is unbelief in Jesus.)

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.(You are automatically passed from death unto life the the second you here the gospel preached and you believe it and receive it.)

Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. (The only "work" of God you have to do is believe in Jesus.)

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
[SUP]40[/SUP] And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. (The Father's will is for everybody to beleive in Jesus and those who do will be saved and raised up at the resurrection.)

I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.(We are saved by entering in through Jesus not by showing God a whole list of good works that we accomplished in our lifetime.)

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
[SUP]28[/SUP] And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any manpluck them out of my hand.
[SUP]29[/SUP] My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluckthem out of my Father's hand.(We shall never perish because we believe in Jesus, and nothing and nobody can pluck us out of His hand, including our own sins and disobediences.)

You said to stop sinning or perish. I did just that 40 years ago when I received Jesus and became born again, born of God.

[SUP]1[/SUP] Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. (we who believe in and confess Jesus as our Lord and Savior are born of God and therefore do not sin any more by reason of the fact that Jesus covers and washes away our sins by His blood Sacrifice for us on the cross.)

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
[SUP]2[/SUP] Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
[SUP]3[/SUP] And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (This is how you determine whether somebody is of God or not, by if they confess Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. Jesus is Lord of my Life. There. That proves I am of God. It has nothing to do with how one acts.)

So, you see, saying a sinners prayer does save you. Because by saying the sinners prayer a person is making his confession of faith in Jesus, and, according to all the scriptures I just quoted you, that's all you need to do to get saved.

I would suggest you get out of your judgmental, Pharisaical mindset and repent of your own sins and start depending solely on the Lord for your Salvation instead of your own righteous ability to obey the rules and your own sense of greatness you think you have.

6 And he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. 7 And he said to the vinedresser, ‘Look, for three years now I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. Cut it down. Why should it use up the ground?’ 8 And he answered him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and put on manure. 9 Then if it should bear fruit next year, well and good; but if not, you can cut it down.’”

Here we can see that God is patient with us. However, that patience runs out. Practicing sin is not a way of life. Anyone who tells you otherwise does not understand the gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit. Anyone who teaches you it is acceptable to be a slave to sin, is not a slave to righteousness.

I am sorry, it does not work this way. Nobody would be allowed in the Churches Paul started with this attitude and continuing in their sins while calling themselves a brother in Christ.

we are not in a church on this site. the heretics, the other gospels, the other schools opposed to truth, all can post, and do. if they break the rules, they get banned, but several of them skirt the rules and just keep spamming , not knowing themselves why and not even in control of their own actions.

Ro 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
7 ¶ What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

Ro 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

I made no comment about your walk with the Lord; I commented on your telling Utah that you doubt his salvation.

Arrogance arises from pride; and pride is SIN!

I totally agree with you on this topic. However, our cushioned pews, air conditioned, techno-enhanced modern electronic churches have very little to do with real repentence. Very few churches mention anything about our spiritual gifts and how to utilize them. Our Society applauds same sex marriages, and so do most denominations now. What do you expect? THIS kind of complacency is overwhelming to say the least. We need more hard-core solid BIBLE being preached from the pulpits, but ministers do not want to hurt feelings or go against popular ideas. A real Holy Spirit filled church will never be politically correct.

Oh, so people like Paul were arrogant when they stood in doubt of others, right? Good to know. There goes most of the Bible, right down the drain. Seriously, what Bible do you people read?

You are correct. Sin is considered the norm, inevitable, impossible to break free from.
The real church holds each other accountable, exhorts, corrects, encourages and edifies each other.
So many churches these days only encourage us to feel better about our sin, to accept it, while giving us motivational speeches and boring us with endless sermons or dazzling us with the latest and greatest in entertainment. Subjugating the members and Priests of Christ to laity and life in a pew. Passive observers

Here, sin is definitely considered the norm by many and, ironically, the biggest sinners in their eyes are those who state that Christ came to set us free from sin which is what His name actually means. Again, those who do the same are of the spirit of antichrist. Make no mistake about it.

Legalism is not holiness! Its the flesh trying to justify itself through dead works.

so, mitzy is not under the law, but keeps sinning anyway, every day apparently , all the time in many of his posts at least.

so, since he/she/it is not under the law, is he/ whatever/ saved or not saved ?

i.e. is it okay or possible to just keep sinning because of not being under the law ?

doesn't First John and First Peter address this? (and points out the contradiction of claiming to be saved,

while still willfully or unwillingly sinning.)
