Must have missed it? You can post them again if you have confidence they make your point in the truth...I do :)

Just reread my posts. I repeated everything as least twice, why repeat it a third time.

I read your posts and the supposed supporting scriptures, and it became obvious that you have a distorted understanding of what "Under the Law" actually is, and what "Legalism" actually is, THUS you misinterpret the verses you post.

Try to stay on the topic and avoid personal insults.... do you believe what the new testament says about legalism?

OKAY, but in all honesty, I seriously doubt if you will like that either; because in our opinion, it is your twisted definitions of "Under the Law" and "Legalism" that "empowers DEMONS in your life!" It causes you to Hate the brethren who are being obedient to GOD's Old Testament Laws, purely to demonstrate that their LOVE for GOD is real.

1 John 2:9 (ESV)
[SUP]9 [/SUP] Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness.

1 John 3:10 (ISV)
[SUP]10 [/SUP] This is how God's children and the devil's children are distinguished.
No person who fails to practice righteousness and to love his brother is from God.

1 John 5:3 (NIV)
[SUP]3 [/SUP] This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,

God is the God of order and to me if I am in grace, and only grace it feels like a "free for all".

God had a plan from day 1 and that plan never changed. Grace is not a new concept in the Bible so why would God change His plan from a God with a plan to a God that is a "free for all, do what you want, once saved always saved" type of God?

No I have a good grasp on it..."the letter kills but the spirit gives life" we serve God in the Newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.

Righteousness of faith and serving God in the Spirit. Not the oldness of the letter....by faith and love which are His commandments, not the written code of Moses.

Its called the New Testament written in the Blood of Christ.....

2Co 3:6 ¶ Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:

2Co 3:13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

Ye MUST be born again. It isn't an option, it is pivotal. No free for all

Mitspa, without regurgitating the same Bible verses I would like an answer from the man behind the Bible verses. Do you believe Yeshua followed the law to the letter and if you do and you are a follower of Yeshua why would you think God changed everything His Son came to keep perfect? It is like saying you are a vegetarian but you eat meat whenever you have the craving.

Did Jesus follow the law to the letter?

What was the penalty for committing adultery?

The prostitute was a trap for Yeshua by the Pharisees. But Yeshua had the answer ready as he said to them "him who is with out sin let him cast the first stone".

So what part of the Torah are you referring to so that I can at least answer you in context?

What was the punishment for committing adultery under the old covenant?

Did Jesus follow the letter of the law concerning the woman caught in adultery?

And this is also the reason why you would never understand the gospel. You are under the impression Yeshua couldn't keep the law to the letter. It all make sense to me now...

Just one tip before I leave, don't listen to your atheist friends to try and convict your Christian brethren.

I see you are reluctant to answer the question. What was the punishment under the old covenant for committing adultery.

What makes sense is your plain reluctance to answer the question. So what does that leave you to do???
