Hi.
I have noticed that sometimes incorrect grammar can completely change the meaning of a post.
Also sometimes people can get a bit frustrated by incorrect grammar, but also different cultures and countries use
grammar in different ways.
So in the effort to, at least in part, satisfy my own mind on a certain matter, please can I have your
opinion as to which is correct:
The yolk of an egg IS white,
or the yolk of an egg ARE white.
Your answers would be greatly appreciated in the assistance of mutual understanding and world peace.
Ps if you are a really bright spark with a degree in English then you might want to delay responding and give the
rest of us mere mortals a chance to reply first.
Sooooo. which is it folks, IS or ARE?
