Bringing the content of another thread to the Sirk is a superhero thread is also a sin.

Silence! The Sirk has spoken.
(Hmmm, I thought we already taught Sirk you can't silence women.)

Stop taking yourself too seriously? (That's the point I'm getting anyway. Can't really think of a verse to back it up in the Bible, but I'm not thinking deeply today.)

there isn't a biblical point to this thread. We are SUPPOSED to give sarcastic replies.. :) Although if there IS a biblical point, it would be to NEVER trust any deluded fool who calls himself "The Sirk." I mean, seriously who came up with that lame title? lol

that was sarcasm, Marian. Come join us.

I just thought it was, because it is in the Bible Discussion forum.
I can not even imagine how to start a sarcasm play, I'm more into
"goofy" humour... :)

Have fun.

SILENCE! There most certainly is a biblical point. I dare you to be brave enough to find it!

Would this verse fit in the Thread? It just came to mind when I saw the Topic...
"Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly."
(Prov.) 3:34

the point is, for the chosen Blue one, to show the vain self-titled Sirk the grievous error of his ways. God has bestowed many gifts upon me, not the least of which is teaching you how to be humble. Turn from your vain ways or God shall smite your mirror down! So He has decreed it, so shall it be obeyed.. ;)

This lesson has concluded. Who can discern its application?
People who live in glass houses shouldn't stow thrones?

I don't know, it's an old joke's punchline. Thought it might fit ...

The Sirks vanity is selfless. It is for others... to allow themselves the grace to be the best hairy big toe that God has designed them to be. There is freedom that the Sirk has brought here.

[ . . . ] If you let a group of chickens go in a naturalized part of a city park (where there is plenty of weeds and brush in a clearing to give them easy access to grubs, insects, and worms) would the group of chickens live there or would they wander somewhere else?
Chickens are even more stupid than sheep. They will die of thirst next to a watering pan. They will abandon good food and water for an instinctive affliction that was previously thought to exist only in human males -- BST Syndrome. ("Bright shiny thing" -- you know, like a new Mustang)
