A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but by the sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed. Proverbs 5:13

And I command joy, for man has no good thing under the sun but to eat and drink and be joyful, for this will go with him in his toil through the days of his life that God has given him under the sun. Ecc. 8:15

God wants us to celebrate. There are so many examples in scripture about being joyful. God requires us to have fun while we are able.

This thread is like new wine poured into old medicine bottles.

( I was becoming like an old medicine bottle). Every few days, I must jump on this thread and, indeed, leave it refreshed and ready to take on the next few hours.

Sirk is really Kris spelled backwards. I have finally mastered the enigma of his brain.

i think they'd get eaten by the homeless population.
The "kids" (which are really stuffed animals, so most the time the chicken will be bigger than they are) are the homeless population. They don't have the heart to kill animals. They eat, so would like eggs once in a while. (I did mention it's a novel, right? lol)

Would this verse fit in the Thread? It just came to mind when I saw the Topic...
"Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly."
(Prov.) 3:34
You caught me in a bout of insomnia, so there are only two types of thoughts going through my brain right now ---

1. The sound of crackling misfired thoughts that never turned into real thoughts.

2. Silly, goofy stuff.

Sorry, The Bible is neither and you're making me think harder than I can today. lol

People who live in glass houses shouldn't stow thrones?

I don't know, it's an old joke's punchline. Thought it might fit ...
(mumbling to self: Oh great! Now what do I do with my throne collection? Or, should I just board up the windows to house my collection?)

And I thought he was a closet Trekkie with a man-crush on Kirk, but so embarrassed to show it, he disguised it with Sirk, instead of Kirk.

The Sirk is only a fan of one thing. All other things are meaningless. Even all of you are meaningless.

Silence! The Sirk has spoken.

Ps...if you like Star Trek there is no hope for you and you will likely perish.

The Sirk thought he was wrong once but it turned out he wasn't wrong after all. Being wrong about being wrong doesn't make one wrong. In the end it makes you right and so the Sirk is even right when it appears he is wrong.

Well, here is my fan and it always cools me down after some of the heated sarcasm bits.

Now, you just got me all confused, although I get confused a lot:confused:

The Sirks glass house is made of bulletproof glass. Your stones make The Sirk laugh gleefully as he runs around his glass house neked.

Thought you lived in a Sirk-us Tent?
You're quite the entertaining act there, Sirk.
