'Malek' literally means messenger....and when coupled to Yahweh, in the numerous OT examples, it refers to God, Himself.

Even in the NT, Jesus is referred to as a Messenger, amongst numerous other epithets.

why would the Almighty need a messenger when it is the Almighty Himself giving the message? if it was the Lord. thy not just say its the Lord.
the only way it makes sense to me is it was a messenger sent from the Lord and not the Lord himself.

Because He IS the messenger.

He does...

Scripture states otherwise....study it and see...

No....Malek Yahweh is God The Son, El Shaddai, etc, etc...and other terms you are probably ignorant of...

Micheal the angel, another version? how can you not see this makes no sense?
Michael is an archangel...he is NOT The Son....now you are parroting JW material...

i do study and this is what i see. a messenger is a go between from the Almighty to mankind.
Now you are confusing mere angels with Malek Yahweh.

Study up...

Jesus is God.

John 14:12
Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that believeth on me,
the works that I do shall he do also;
and greater works than these shall he do;
because I go unto my Father.

God came down from Heaven
and became a man.

And did the works of God.

God said to his children, whoever believed upon Him...

would not only do the same works as God
but when God went back to heaven we would do
even greater works than God.

We, the children of God, who believe upon God,
will do even greater works than God.

That is the Word of God.

Malek Yahweh always refers to The Son.

You are trying to make each Person of The Trinity each other...remember, that does not work....time to change your habits...

most bible translate:
God came down from Heaven
and became a man.
as
so that the Father may be glorified in the Son

also note that Jesus said He does not speak on his own authority but on the authority of His Father that is in him. if Jesus was the Almighty in a man he would have His own authority would he not?

There is one thing here though..

If we actually see Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit as seperate in heaven.. then that is Polytheism. Three Gods.

So surely there is a point when they are actually each-other?

I see it as when we get to heaven.. we see God..the one being.

I know there are the three distinct essences.. Father, Son and Holy Spirit..but I do not think they are actually seperate.

One being expressed three ways.

Anyhoo..

It's still the triune God.. still a trinity..

God the Son.. God the Father.. God the Holy Spirit. I just don't like to make them into different beings.

no worries, i was going by what you said, Jesus is the Almighty and the Father is the Almighty, therefore i was thinking they were the same.

of the persons is one greater than the other?

Each is the One God.

Each is not the other.

Simple logic.

of the persons is one greater than the other?
As God, each is the same.

As the God-man, the position of man is obviously not the same.

There are passages that say both.
fair enough but are there not other passages about this same thing:
when they asked Jesus if one of them could sit at his right and left hand, he said it was not His decision to make.

when He was asked about the last days, not the angels nor even the Son had this knowledge, but only the Father alone.

Dude, who don't you just go ahead and say that you deny the Deity of Christ instead of playing all these silly games. You think you are the first to come here with this stuff? Seriously?

As the God-man, to which do you think this was referring?

Face it, The Trinity already has all bases covered...

The oldest manuscripts actually do not deny that The Son knows the hour.

But....you are merely googling for one side of the picture...

its ether 3 gods or 1. so if its 1 and not 3 then this would mean it was God the Father all along and there was never Jesus the Son.
one God made of 3 persons/beings- for this to work you have to reduce the Lord Almighty Himself to a lesser being/person as he is one of the 3 that make the 1.
*sigh* Didn't we establish the fact long ago that God is One, but He is three persons? One God, one God, one God. Not three Gods. One God.
