sounds like a nice place to have some peace...plant some flowers, watch the little brook and maybe bring the dog

see you there...I'll keep quiet
The dog's going to poop on the flowers. Just saying. lol

I had a dog once named couper. He was a this really awesome sweet golden retriever. He'd leave yard nuggets hanging from the shrubbery like ornaments. Lol

Tell me you still have your suspendors
Tell me you don't have suspenders.

I'm from the 70's. We were big into vests, short shorts, and suspenders. I can't wear anything like that anymore because of where my pain area is, but I've saved them all just in case. (And folks don't think I believe God heals. Ha! Wait until you see an old lady walking down the street with rainbow suspenders, a tweed vest, and bright yellow short shorts. Now, if only my disco-diva dresses didn't dry rot! lol)

Well, around my hometown, you have to beware topping each hill because there might be an Amish horse-and-buggy lurking just out of sight. It can be nerve-racking.

Comparatively speaking, I'd prefer black bumpers.

Wow! In Lancaster, PA you never have that problem. Everyone is driving very, very slow because the horse and buggies are causing the traffic jam.

My brother had a golden retriever. He looked down at the table to see what we were eating. (The retriever had giantism. It was a normal-sized table, but he sat on the floor and was still taller than the rest of us at the table.) NOW I know why my brother had ugly ornaments on his trees. lol

(Some exaggeration in this, but only about the ornaments. Not the dog.)

nah....not you guys....all pimped out in your Sunday best! Lol
There's something truly ironic about "pimped out" and "Sunday school best" being used in the same sentence.

Who cares if they were offended lol. The only person who might deserve an apology would be that Jason guy.
Ya....isn't there a scripture somewhere about taking up another mans offense? I swear I remember reading something about that.

I've read thru a good deal of this thread and it's quite startling how many little nuggets of truth that are contained in it. Even some of my replies, when I saw them, I went....ya..... I could have said that another way or whatever. The point is that even in our failings...if we just learn to get out of God's way and follow HIM.....instead of us trying to lead Him!.....we'd all be in much better shape.

We need to learn to SLOW DOWN....everything doesn't require an immediate response. Some things require prayer and consideration....of which I am guilty of failing around here frequently! LOL....

There can only be unity when we agree to disagree agreeably.

I suppose we are all guilty at one time or another.....I don't mind disagreeing, but when what I said gets twisted and or something implied that I never implied.....that is what I cannot stand.....

There is a huge difference between fighting fair and gouging eyeballs out. Defining another persons intentions with your perception of them.... without all the information, is the same thing as lying. Instead of condemning each other to hell..... we need to be hearing each others hearts. That is where Jesus is and the healing that only He can bring to our broken lives..
