I am sure you can find something wrong with the rest.

The Sabbath is sometimes referred to as the "test commandment". It's the one that false christians will almost always refuse to obey. They need to come out of Babylon and embrace the truth of God's word.
The scriptures say to test all spirits so I want to test yours and see if you are one of these false Christians you speak of.
What is the mark of a true Christian? Of a true child of God? can you answer me this?

move the time line and Sunday IS Saturday LOL It is only in Palestine that the correct Sabbath can be observed.

Ridiculous! There will be sundown at where ever on Earth you look for it.

If your objection is that Sabbath observance is not required of believers at this time, I would agree, though I believe voluntary observance is still pleasing to God.

But then the womenfolk were the evil ones because they kept it after Jesus was crucified... that Eve and the womenfolk
Strange that Jews would keep the Sabbath. Perhaps that proves the point? I don't mind which day you observe in honour of Jesus. Neither does God :)

What God objects to is those who criticise people who obey His word by insisting on one particular day.

Now read your Bible without blinkers on.

I know you mean well, so I will answer your question. When a christian recieves the Holy Spirit, the Spirit writes the Father's commandments on his heart and mind.

Jeremiah 31:33
"This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time," declares the LORD. "I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

^ This same prophecy is repeated in Hebrews 10:16.

If you have an inner desire to obey God's commandments, you can be sure that Spirit is dwelling in your mind, and that you're growing in His ways. But if you dislike obeying God's commandments, and try to come up with irrational excuses for disobeying them, like most people do, this is what the scriptures say about you:

Romans 8:7
The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so.

So, to answer your original question, the mark of a true christian is his love for God. And His love for God is manifested in this way:

1 John 5:3
In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commanments are not burdensome.

Not ridiculous at all. There are some places on earth which you can leave on a Friday and arrive at your nearby destination next day on a Sunday. Then when do you observe the Sabbath? The Friday or the Sunday? Away from Palestine it is MAN who fixes when the Sabbath will be. When the time line was changed there were islands on which Christians worshiped God on the Sabbath. But the change meant that they were worshiping God on the Sunday and they didn't realise it LOL. So which day were they then worshiping on?.

But those are God's commandments to Christians, not the ten commandments. You err not knowing the Scriptures or the power of God.

Admit it, you have no explanation as to why neither Jesus not Paul not Peter ever exhorted us to observe the Sabbath. If it had been important they MUST have said something. YOU would have been on about it all the time

This guy has been here under several other usernames, starting with Eliwood.

He watches Armstrongite videos from Restored Church of God as well as 119ministries.com.

You, sir are a Judaizer and need to stop judging Christians. Colossians 2:16-17 addresses this specifically.

Besides that, you are engaging in lying and deceit by setting up usernames with false information. Your own actions condemn you. You claim to follow God's law but you are a liar.

Saladin, answer my questions:

http://christianchat.com/bible-disc...questions-sabbath-festival-torah-keepers.html

I answered every one of yours with well-reasoned responses. These are mine.

Also, here is an article I wrote about Judaizers trying to judge other Christians and calling them false:

http://christianchat.com/bible-disc...-old-covenant-observance-causes-division.html

Compare Colossians 2:16-17 to Hebrews 10:1-2. One can clearly see that the same language is used in regards to animal sacrifices that is used in regards to Sabbaths and festivals. The truth is undeniable. The Sabbath and festivals are not applicable to New Covenant believers and you need to stop calling them "false Christians".

Armstrongites are courting judgment from God for doing this.

Yes, in effect the Armstrongite cult that I belonged to denied the Christianity of everyone outside of their group. They were white washed tombs and Pharisees. So is he.

Yes jesus said if you loved him you would obey but yet there is still something missing isn't there? many ppl constantly preach on obeying but can be very judgmental and condemning. The mark of a true believer is not simple obedience it is love itself. without a deep love for God with God and for all others our faith will fail, when I see a Christian I don't discern if they are true believers by how obedient they are because I have seen that method fail many times but rather the love I can see within them. When a believer has this love inside them it shows it pours out of everything they say how they act how they think you can even see it in their eyes.

The love and the mark I speak of is branded on their hearts and their foreheads invisible to the naked eye but perfectly visible to a heart who knows the love they bear. in order to even attempt to obey his laws one requires such a love as this because his laws were designed where only one with a heart full of love can obey and follow it at all.

I don't know you very well yet so we will see if you bear this mark or not

Christians are obedient to the commandments that apply to THEM, not to ancient Israel. The Old Covenant, including the Sabbath, annual festivals, clean/unclean meats, and physical circumcision applied to THEM.

Christians have different commandments.

By the way, anyone who claims Christians should be physically circumcised for religious reasons has little understanding of Scripture. Paul said NOT to do it, in fact.

"The truth of God's word" in your eyes includes the view that you are a God in embryonic form, and you deny the full deity of Jesus Christ and the Trinity. How ironic.

Exodus 20:8-11 King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]8 [/SUP]Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
[SUP]10 [/SUP]But the seventh day is the sabbath of YAHWEH thy ELOHIM: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
[SUP]11 [/SUP]For in six days YAHWEH made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore YAHWEH blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

We can find rest for our SOULS in Yahushua, but we can plainly see that the 4th command is a physical rest, as even the animals rest. We can see that when faith and hope is put in the Father rest for our souls was found even in the "old covenant"

PSALMS 116

[SUP]5 [/SUP]Gracious is YAHWEH, and righteous;
Yes, our ELOHIM is merciful.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]YAHWEH preserves the simple;
I was brought low, and He saved me.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]Return to your rest, O my soul,
For YAHWEH has dealt bountifully with you.

[SUP]8 [/SUP]For You have delivered my soul from death,
My eyes from tears,

TO THOSE WHO SAY MESSIAH DID NOT SAY TO KEEP THE SABBATH IN THE NT.
1 JOHN 2:6

He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Luke 4:16[SUP]16[/SUP]
He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue,
as
was
hiscustom
. He stood up to read,

Messiah kept the Sabbath, he walked perfectly in the will of the Father.
Messiah did NOT say it is ok to SIN now, SIN according to the NT is breaking Yahweh's law.

MATTHEW 28
18 And YAHUSHUA came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Matthew 23
Then spake Yahushua to the multitude, and to his disciples, 2Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: 3All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

They read the law, we are supposed to obey the law, but NOT anything ADDED or TAKEN away by man.

Matthew 5:
17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.20For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

people believe Yahushua critized the scribes and Pharisees because they kept the law, but is this scriptural?

John 7:

19Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?

Matthew 15:
6And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of Elohim of none effect by your tradition. 7Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,8This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.9But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Again we must remember Yahushua has been the WORD of YAHWEH since the beginning, therefore all the commands given by the Father were given through Yahushua.

If however we want to say that it was not said by anyone directly to keep the Sabbath in the NT, even though it was what everyone was already keeping therefore there was no need. But if our argument is from silence, the please show me where it is commanded to keep Sunday.
If you want to say we can keep any day Holy because of Romans 14, please read the chapter in context and you will see it is taking about food, and which day should be a day of fasting, there is no command of a weekly day to fast therefore let everyone be convinced in their own mind on which day they should fast.

Let us reason together and search diligently for the things which please the Father, let us love him how he asks and desires to be loved, not in our own way. ALL GLORY AND HO

seems like Jesus, and Paul, and Peter, and John, and James didn't REMEMBER to mention it. That's why Paul said we could observe ANY day to the Lord.
I think you are reading this a bit 'skewed...Paul says nothing of the sort, try again....
Paul says that SOME are doing this, esteeming one day above another...he nowhere says that WE are to do like they....in fact he says 'Be you followers of me as I also follow Christ 2Cor 11v1.and that is the correct instruction to follow !!! any SANE person can see that !
