the 80's are a blur to me. i don't remember much of it.

maybe because we didn't have cable lol
My family never had cable either.

Once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away... known as the 1980's... We didn't have things such as all-cartoon channels (at least, not on regular TV.)

But every kid knew it was Saturday morning when the only reason to get up early was to start watching Saturday morning cartoons!!!

Thought slightly controversial because of the popularity of the game (and its own separate controversy), this was my absolute favorite:

This cartoon had heart. And this, in my opinion, was one of its best episodes.

I almost cried at the end because Diana loses what seems to be her true love in order to save him and an entire kingdom of people.

RATS!! It didn't post. (Trying again... Success?)

This should be, "Dungeons and Dragons: Child of the Stargazer."

I was heartbroken when this show was canceled.

G.I Joe, Gummi Bears, Inspector Gadget!!! Scooby Doo, Ninja Turtles!

Care Bears were okay...but the care bear stare...was creepy
Inspector Gadget was awesome...but I've still gotta go with Looney Tunes.
Bugs was/is my hero. Wasn't until later that I realized how much he (and another favorite, Hawkeye Pierce from MASH) owed to Groucho Marx.

The Rabbit of Seville

Mia, there were 27 episodes in all. There were a series of about 4 episodes in the later season that were especially intense. You should be able to find them all on YouTube (though I know sometimes there are country-to-country restrictions.) I would suggest looking up the show on Wikipedia (and at one time it used to have its own "Wiki"-type site) for the list of episodes and watching them in order.

Also gotta love this!!! (The song... and the movie... though I admit, parts of it kind of freaked me out back then.)

I still live in the 80's. Music, movies, a President who actually loved his country. Yeah, I love the 80's.

Just saw Def Leppard Saturday, they were awesome. Going to see The Fixx at BB King's in NYC September 3rd.

$22.00 tickets if anyone's interested in seeing them, and that includes a meal.

I like how the clothes aren't super tight, bright colours and shapes seem to be the trend?

I didn't have cable...I had 5 TV channels...I didn't watch much TV (and still don't).

Instead, I read constantly (and still do).

I loved me some 'Choose Your Own Adventure' books...

Loved those! I also was into Isaac Asimov and Douglas Adams... I guess this is when I started reading a lot of sci-fi

I never watched 21 Jump Street.

But for anyone who knows any of the actors in this show BESIDES Johnny Depp, take a look at The Man With the Iron Fists 2. The movie itself wasn't very good, but Dustin Nguyen is AMAZING.

You have to keep in mind, this man is in his 50's.

Dustin Nguyen was LOVELY! Also sorta had a crush on Peter DeLuise. (What, I don't typically like the 'pretty' boy)
