According to Ray Comfort, yes, I am. That's why I need Jesus. That's why we all need Jesus.

TheKJV is perfect. 7 books missing? You must be tlking about the apocrypha? Pure garbage. Christ is all.
God's Word is garbage? Interesting
The Apocrypha isn't God's word. The Jews admit that during the time the Apocrypha was written wasn't a time of inspiration. They were never in the original Hebrew Bible. The church of Rome adopted them because they support their doctrines of indulgences, purgatory and prayers for the dead.

The Bible is maked by the Law, the Writings and the Prophets, when the Aprocrypha is added to the OT it breaks that order. They were originally placed between the OT and the NT in the 1611 KJV, and were never used for doctrinal purposes, they were only read for the history that was contained in them.

The Waldenses originated in the late twelfth century as the Poor Men of Lyons. Waldensian teachings quickly came into conflict with the Roman Catholic Church. By 1215, the Waldensians were declared heretical and subject to intense persecution; the group was nearly annihilated in the seventeenth century and were confronted with organized and generalized discrimination in the centuries that followed.

In their Confession of Faith they said:

"Here follow the Books Apocryphal, which are not recieved of the Hebrews. But we reade them (as faith St. Hierome in his Prologue to the proverbs) for the instruction of the People, not to confirm the Authority of the Doctrine of the Church. viz."

The church meaning the church of Rome

The so-called 'missing' verses were added to the KJV. But they're not teachings contrary to God's Word. They just didn't exist in the oldest autographs. Therefore, the KJV is still God's Word.
Where did you read this?

I stand for the truth. I preach the word without compromise. I stand for truth!
You joined CC only yesterday and with your very first comment proclaimed you’re offended in the “God Bless You” thread. And in your additional comments you aggressively accuse Christians here of:
being fools
unstable
unlearned
ignorant
in danger of being condemned
reading “satanic counterfeits” of the Bible
sinners

And yet you say of yourself, “I stand for the truth. I preach the word without compromise.” (Self-righteous much?):p

You entered this site with boxing gloves on, not to fellowship with God’s children, not to share and encourage, but to condemn and contend with. It’s obvious to everyone here that you have your own agenda and that is to lord over others with legalism and wrath. You admittedly said of yourself, “I follow my apostle [Paul], whom God COMMANDED me to follow.”

I thought Jesus said, “Follow Me.”????

Your belief is that God told us to read Romans first. Well Buddy, it’s MY belief that God was talking directly to YOU because it says in Romans, “There is therefore now no more condemnation in Christ Jesus.” What you’re doing on this site is directly opposed to that truth. Condemnation is ALL you’re preaching.

You’ve been a member of this site less than 12 hours and have vehemently posted about 40 comments actively accusing others and contending with their faith and all the while testifying that you are a righteous follower of Paul.

You will not last on this site, and I’ll tell you why. We get your type in here all the time, jumping onto this site ready to war against God’s people with self-righteous anger. You have no interest in fellowship or praying for others or showing mercy to the brethren. And if you don’t have love, you’re just a loud noise. Your house of cards is sinking in the sand. I’m not going to communicate with you any further because you won’t receive it from me. But the Lord Himself will dispose of your wrath on this site and I’ll just wait it out until He does.

Of course, you do have the option of repenting of your anger and making things right. And that’s between you and God.

The Lord Jesus Christ said followme to his disciples. TO THE CIRCUMCISION. My apostle was speaking to gentiles as well as the circumcisionw. Yes i follow paul. I also follow God as dear children. Did you know that it was the life of the Lord Jesus Christ my saviour LIVING THROUGH the apostle paul? lI can see that you left out a BIG partof scripture when you quoted Romans 8:1, who walk not after the flesh but after theSpirit. Yes i contend for the faith, i will not let ignorsnce rule my life but the Word of God. I abhor that which is evil and cleave to that which is good. Lot of fake believers who are going up in the lake of fire here. I dont want lordship over you, are you for real? I just preach the truth, it is up to ye what ye do wit it. You can either stand for truth as a true believer in Christ or you can have yr fellowship with devils. 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?

Different timezones, sister. I live in Australia. I was sleeping. It's common knowledge that the KJV added verses and there are countless books on the subject. You just have to Google 'KJV controversy. Are there missing verses?'

BE ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. 1corinthians 11 among others.
So yes, i follow paul. I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and God my Father and i believe what they say to do.
the operative idea there is to follow Christ. 1 Corinthians 10 gives the context that Paul means to imitate the way that he lived among them, because he was trying in every way to imitate Christ and live by the spirit.
not to imitate Paul -- but to imitate Christ, just as Paul imitates Christ.
follow Christ, not Paul.

maybe you're missing this point because of your infection with the falsehood of KJV-only-ism, since the KJV doesn't render the Greek word
mimētai that is used in 1 Corinthians 11:1 as "imitate" or "be imitators" -- even though this is exactly the word that our English word "imitate" comes from.

i rather think Paul cringes a bit when he hears you say "i follow Paul" over and over again -- i can almost hear him in my ear, saying "follow Christ! not me!" every time.

just my humble opinion :)

((is this the KJV thread? yes, it is the KJV thread))
cool - so thanks for pointing out 1 Corinthians 11:1 !!
here's a great example of where the KJV is actually inferior to many other English translations, because the sense of "imitate" is lost in it, and seeing the Greek it is overwhelmingly clear that "imitate" is the literal word that should be used here instead of "be followers of" -- which has a much different connotation to us, and is well illustrated by the way you misuse it to set this scripture against 1 Corinthians 3:1-4

i hope your pride doesn't get in the way of you being mutually edified here :)

Being like CHRIST is heresy,a work of the flesh. Having his life live through your mortal flesh is not. You tread under foor the Son of God with your comment of the KJV not "rendering" words. You are saying that the word of God isnt perfect. Shame on you.
