King James Bible
The Two Witnesses
1And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. 3And I will give powerunto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. 5And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
The Witnesses Killed and Raised
7And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 8And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 9And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. 10And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. 12And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. 13And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
Please expound how the two witnesses (as you have explained them to be in your above two posts) died and how after three days their bodies stood up and ascended back into heaven.
Thank you
The 2Ws are spirits. They stand in the presence of God Zech., they were there at the time of Zerubbabel and are there now and always will be. They are with God and part of the complete vision which IS LITERALLY the word of God (to Zerubbabel).

The olive trees are symbolic of a people, Israel.
The covenant between God and the human souls is with Israel, through Israel, the 2 olive trees.
The covenant of Moses and the Prophets is given to us through Israel, the Law and the Prophets are LITERALLY THE WORD OF GOD.
So the people of Israel carry the words of God with them, literally. They are the 2 olive trees that are in possession of, are part of spiritually, the literal word of God.
The Holy Spirit flows through Israel, through the Law and the Prophets, that keeps the creation alive to God.
This is different from the indwelling/gift of the Holy Spirit that we have in the Kingdom/church. Acts 2:38

1967 Israel is restored to Jerusalem and the ToG's is over Lk 21:24
This next part is going to happen soon.
The 2Ws are killed by the dragon beast Rome. (Rome is only the "image" of it's former Roman empire, so he deceives the armies from across the Euphrates River to kill Israel. 6th trumpet, 6th vial.)
The people of Israel are left in the streets of Jerusalem for 3 1/2 days.
A great celebration takes place, because Israel is dead.
-
Understand, that Israel is a witness, to all the things about Jesus, the creation, Noah, Moses, the exodus, etc, but especially of the covenant between Israel and God, the great I AM.
This is why they have such a great hate, for such a small amount of people, on a tiny piece of land (half the size of the Netherlands). They are witnesses to the promises of the one true God who is Jesus.
Like Cain killed Able, the spirit of Cain, will kill again.

The 2Ws are resurrected from the dead. This would be the resurrection of His coming 1 Cor 15:23-28, 23-24. 7th trumpet, last trumpet, end of the planet, end of the story of the little scroll.
The dead in Christ rise 1st, then those who are alive are caught up.
Only Israel who have accepted Jesus will be resurrected at this time
All those who killed Israel must die a physical death before appearing before Jesus.
