LAW given by Moses? The LAW was given by GOD through Moses.

But as for the Gospel. Deut 30:6, 11 -14 state.

And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Who will circumcise our hearts to Love the Lord?

GOD!

When?

If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

For this commandment which I command thee this day,

What commandment?

This one, "If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law"

This is that which is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

The LORD circumcising the Heart. The Gospel of Grace, the Word, his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law are now as was then offered through Christ to be in our hearts through Christ.
(Deu 30:6, 10-14 KJV)

Herein is my Father glorified, that we bear much fruit through this Sanctification; the circumcision of our hearts. So Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ, gracing us with HIS presence, the Word, all that GOD would have us be. HIS Commandments down from above) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ, the Word, all that GOD would have us be. HIS Commandments again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word (Christ; the Word, the commandments manifested in the flesh, Our flesh) is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, in thy heart, and in they hand: that we may do it; that is, the word of faith, which we preach. And that is the Gospel, the Kingdom of GOD within you. For GOD hath said, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them." And HE shall be our GOD and we shall be HIS people. For it is GOD that works in us both to will and do HIS good pleasure, Christ (the Word, His Commandments, GOD's will ) in you the hope of Glory

(Rom 10:6-8)

What I mean is: Please, make it simple. Here is what you wrote in post # 104:

Anyhow let me answer your questions here (Not the one I asked you above). The term mitzot is a man made tradition developed in the 3rd century when Rabbi Simlai mentioned it in a sermon that is recorded in Talmud Makkot 23b (Source, Wiki). The term has no basis in God's Word.

Under the Old Covenant there are.................

1. God's Law (10 commandments) written by God alone on two tables of stone and spoken by God himself to His people. 2. The Mosaic laws for remission of sins that were written by Moses in a book (Levitical, Ceremonial, Sanctuary including the annual festivals and misc), 3. Civil laws of Moseswritten by Moses in the Book, 4. Health laws written by Moses in the book.

1. God's Law (10 commandments) God's Word says are forever because they are the work of God the standard in the Old and NEW Covenant that give a knowledge of GOOD and EVIL (SIN AND RIGHTEOUSNESS) and are the standard in the Judgement to come that we all must give account to God for the things we have done here on this earth. Can we keep God's LAW? How can you pull a clean thing out of an unclean? Those who through FAITH and the operation of God that are Born again to follow God through LOVE and a NEW HEART are free to FOLLOW him. Those who have FAITH that works by LOVE keep all the commandments of God (John 14:15; Romans 3:31; Rev 12:17; 14:12; 22:14: 1 John 2:3-4)

ANSWER; YES: God's people through faith have the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE to God's LAW (10 commandments) which are written on their hearts through LOVE and LOVE is the fulfilling of His Law in those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW God's Word.
.........

2. The Mosaic laws for remission of sins with all the Levitical and ceremonial laws, burnt offerings for sin, annual feast days foretelling the plan of salvation which were connected to Feast days with New Moon sabbaths, food and drink offerings and other Holy days. These where all types pointing to Jesus and the plan of salvation and provided a cure for sin through animal sacrifice and food and drink offerings and yearly sin atonement's for God’s people. (Leviticus 1:1-13; Leviticus 23:1-44; Numbers 28:1-31; 29:1-40; Deuteronomy 24:10-11; Exodus 24:3; Deuteronomy 31:24-26; Colossians 2:16-16; Hebrews 10:1; Ephesians 2:14-15; Leviticus 4; 5; 6; Hebrews 4:14; 9;10; John 1:29; not exhaustive there are many more).

ANSWER; NO: All the laws for remission of SIN were shadows pointing to Jesus as our Lamb of God and Great High Priest and are fulfilled in Him and what was written in the law and the Prophets.

.........3. Civil laws of Moses

ANSWER; NO: Ceased at Jesus when Israel was conquered by the Roman Empire and fell under Roman civil law. There is now no death sentences for openly breaking God's Law (10 commandments). The death penalty for SIN was a shadow now reserved for the great day of the Judgement.

......... 4. Health laws included all the sanitary and laws that govern health.

ANSWER; YES: We are the temple of the Holy Ghost and if any man defiles God's temple him will God destroy. God made us and knows what is good for us and we should believe and follow him.

=======================================================================

Is this the answer you would give to a newly converted Christian? (if he asked you: How should I keep the law?)
Hello Marcelo,

Are you a newly converted Christian? Sorry I never bothered to ask.

Did you miss the post below from post # 113 (linked) ?

Hello Marcelo,

Saying that you are not a theologian is not an excuse for ignoring all the scriptures just sent to you in post # 104 (linked) above. The scriptures in the post linked are topical scriptures and are relevant to our discussion.

You do not need to be a theologian to BELIEVE God's Word. God only asks us to BELIEVE and FOLLOW His Word not to be a theologian.

I am no theologian either but I love God and His Word and love sharing it with others.

Now I am happy to move forward once you reply to my post # 104 (linked).

I did answer all your questions and asked you a few questions at the end of the post.

As I did spend some time on the post I wrote to you, would you like to address the post and also answer the questions in the post before we move on and talk about something else?

Look forward to talking more with you and sharing God's Word.

May God bless you as you seek him through His Words

No, as a normal Christian I am not newly converted. I am asking you an easy guide on how to keep the law just in case I get converted to your theology.

As a zealous advocate for the law of Moses, why don't you make it simple? Why don't you give us a simplified list of laws that still apply to Christians?

John did, in the 3rd chapter of his first letter. " believe in the name of the Son and love one another ". the sda/Hebrew roots cults reject this, and any other Scripture that defeats their false teaching.

If Peter agrees with Paul, why does Paul "oppose him to his face" and call him wrong?

Who is the "circumcision group" that Peter is hanging out with and seemingly being (wrongly, according to Paul) influenced by? Did Peter ditch the other apostles and find a new group of friends among the Pharisees that Christ was always condemning?

In Galatians 2:7 and 2:8 Paul makes a distinction in that Peter is the "apostle to the circumcision" and Paul is the apostle to the Gentiles. This contradicts the Acts passage you quoted where Peter says he is the apostle to the Gentiles.

?
Acts 15:7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.

The statement In Acts 15:7 which indicates that the gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel and believe refers back to Acts 10, when Cornelius and his household were born again of Holy Spirit.

Cornelius and his household were gentiles. Peter was the one chosen by God to witness to the gentiles.

Later, it was decided that Paul and Barnabas were to preach to the gentiles.

Galatians 2:9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

Because Christ made a mistake choosing Peter?

Did you read my post prior to the one you quoted?

Who are these people Paul is referring to in 2Cor 11? Whoever they are, they had to have some sway among the people Paul says who are converting them to "another gospel". They couldn't have been among the Jews who were calling for Christ's torture and death...those Jews wouldn't be preaching Christ.

There really is only one group that could fit the description Paul lays out in 2Cor 11 that is some sort of competing gospel to what he preaches. The only Jewish group that had clout because of their direct experience with Christ are the original apostles.

Unless you know of another? Paul's mysterious competitors that are somehow also Jewish, Hebrew, Israelite, servants of Christ, called Apostles etc? Who are they?

It is Jesus who said to honor God by obeying His instructions, not LGF. It is Jesus who said, before becoming a man, that HE created His Sabbath for man, not LGF.

Respect, belief and obedience to God are the teachings of Jesus, not man. LGF just believes in this Jesus.

It's so simple even a child can understand. What Commandments did Jesus walk in.

There you go. "4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth." We need look no further than Jesus to know how to "Walk in His Light".

Lets look at places this word is used in the Konie Greek originals to get an idea of it meaning and context;

Romans 10:4, "For Christ is the end (telos) of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth."

Romans 10:4, "For Yahshua is the ultimate result (telos) of the Law unto righteousness for everyone who believes."

1Peter 1:9, "Receiving the end (telos) of your faith, even the salvation of your souls."

1 Peter 1:9, "Receiving the ultimate result (telos) of your faith – the salvation of your souls."

If the its the end of the Law aka Law is done away or at an end in Romans 10:4 then faith must also be done away or at an end in 1 Peter 1:9. Unless of course “telos” means the goal.

People can...

know every player on their favorite sports team that is easy to do and acceptable

know how to fix a car top to bottom every little piece that is easy to do and acceptable

know how to do complex math, english, science that is easy to do and acceptable

know how to cook complex meals that is easy to do and acceptable

remember every little detail of a movie or novel that is easy to do and acceptable

remember to celebrate all the worldly holidays in perfect detail that is easy to do and acceptable

Yet it seems knowing and/or seeking to do His Laws is deemed impossible.

Phil 4:13, "I have strength to do all, through Messiaha who empowers me."

I missed the part that says except what He desires...

John/Yahanan 14:15, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

And is mankind or has mankind ever kept the law and kept it perfectly?
Not until Christ.
His gift of Faith has enabled us. We went from having to obey the Law to being the LAW. For this is the Covenant that HE has made. HE in our hearts and in our minds. So say not who shall bring Christ down from above. Or bring him up from down below. Lo HE is with us even unto the end. In our hearts and in our mouths that we do it. That is the word of faith in which we preach.

Behold all things are new and are of God! For with man this was impossible. But with GOD all things are possible!

It's so simple even a child can understand. What Commandments did Jesus walk in.

There you go. "4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth." We need look no further than Jesus to know how to "Walk in His Light".
If it is so easy please teach us how to keep the law of Moses. Remember that many brothers and sisters can barely read, so we need a simplified list of laws that apply to Christians. Can you do that for us?

What amazes me is in CC is that when people have their beliefs challenged and get pinned down with scripture and have no where to hide, they quickly change the subject in order to ignore all the scriptures and questions posted to them.

The scripture is then fulfilled spoken by Jesus and Paul;

Well spake the Holy Ghost by Isaiah the prophet unto our fathers, Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

What a shame to have the Word of God come to you and you choose to reject it.

So is fulfilled the scriptures men loved darkness rather then light because their deeds were evil. For every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

How sad it will be for some on Judgement day who choose to follow the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God over the Word of God.

Jesus will say depart from my you who work iniquity I never KNEW YOU. They did not KNOW God's Word for themselves and decided to let others interpret it for them who were indeed blind leading all who followed them away from God.

UNBELIEF and SIN will keep all who practice it out of the Kingdom of Heaven. Only the BELIEVERS and FOLLOWERS of God's Word are His people...

No they did not know Jesus, and Jesus did not know them. It's unbelief. That's why they never knew Jesus.

Self seeking glory hunters.

it is also amazing that some want to lecture us about sin, like they never do anything wrong. keeping the Sabbath is not a merit test of sin and righteousness. ( especially when you are not 100% sure it is the right day, different calendars over thousands of years, but I digress.... ) knowing to do good, and not doing so is the merit test of sin.

If you do not know God's Word you do not know Jesus because Jesus is God's Word. Many know about him or have have a wrong understanding about him. This is what it means to not KNOW him.

Spiritual things are spiritually discerned. We must KNOW him personally and this is a revelation through His Spirit to you personally who seek HIM through His Word. Not through the word of website or book of the teachings of other who follow man made traditions that break the commandments of God.

Sin will keep all who practice it out of God's Kingdom. Only the BELIEVERS AND FOLLOWERS of GODS WORD are his people.

I am not rejecting the word of God -- I'm asking you a list of "mitzvot" that apply to Christians.
